AUG | Torque

AUG | Torque is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, built around a robotics-inspired Custom Paint Job. Angular white and light gray panels contrast with a charcoal base and bright yellow outlines. The mechanical look suits players who prefer geometric detailing over illustrated artwork. All exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

AUG | Torque gives the scoped AUG assault rifle a mechanical visual identity in CS2. The weapon combines accuracy, low spread, and a high firing rate with a lengthy reload. Its Custom Paint Job concentrates the artwork on the body and stock rather than covering every component equally. Pale panels and yellow edging stand apart from the darker scope, barrel, and magazine. The segmented design suits a loadout built around industrial colors and angular shapes. Documented owners include professional players coldzera, tarik, and Hiko, connecting the finish with established competitive players. Buyers can choose between standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions depending on their collecting preferences. Comparing the exterior, exact float, and version helps distinguish individual copies without treating the finish name alone as a complete buying guide.

History and Origin

AUG | Torque arrived in CS:GO on May 1, 2014, and is available today in CS2. Its launch accompanied the Huntsman Weapon Case. The release update was titled "Huntsman Case Skins". RaekenTheRock created the finish as a Steam Workshop community designer. The skin belongs to The Huntsman Collection, which also defines its eligible collection-based trade-up route. The Huntsman Weapon Case no longer drops following Valve's retirement of the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be purchased and opened, so retirement did not remove the original acquisition method. Current alternatives include buying the skin directly, trading with other players, and using eligible Trade Up Contracts.

Finish Style

Torque uses a Custom Paint Job with a robotics-inspired pattern arranged across the AUG's body and stock. Angular white and light gray sections sit over a dark charcoal foundation, creating clear divisions between painted panels. Bright yellow lines outline selected edges rather than filling large areas of the weapon. Those accents cross the top of the stock and continue down its rear edge. The pistol grip is partly white, while the dark vertical foregrip carries a thin yellow accent near its bottom. The barrel and scope remain mostly dark gray or black, keeping the upper components visually restrained. A similarly dark, ribbed magazine adds texture without extending the pale panel treatment across the whole rifle. Small stencil-like markings and segmented geometric shapes complete the technical appearance, giving the artwork detail beyond its contrasting colors.

Float Value

AUG | Torque has a float range of 0.00 to 0.50. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior excluded from that selection. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability is separate from the float value and exterior condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

AUG | Torque has Restricted rarity, which is separate from its exterior condition or supported version. Its chance from the Huntsman Weapon Case is 4.0%, or about 1 in 25 openings. Ownership by coldzera, tarik, and Hiko provides documented professional ownership, without establishing how frequently the skin is currently bought or traded.

Why it’s Popular:

• Angular white panels contrast clearly with the dark rifle components

• Yellow outlines give the robotics-inspired design a distinctive accent

• Every exterior is available for different condition preferences

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting choices

Price Range

The live AUG | Torque price range is $3.97 to $55.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Factory New through Battle-Scarred copies should be compared by their actual float and asking price. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions deserve separate comparisons rather than an assumed fixed premium. For a buy, sell, or trade decision, match the listing details before using the overall CS2 skin price range as a reference.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Huntsman Weapon Case

Opening a Huntsman Weapon Case can yield AUG | Torque, with a 4.0% chance for this skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened. A case opening does not guarantee Torque.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Huntsman Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Torque is a possible outcome rather than a guaranteed result. The selection is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

AUG | Torque can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a random case result. Compare the exterior and version, then verify the individual float before selecting a copy.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain the skin without opening a case. Compare the proposed copy's exterior, float, and version with the item offered in exchange. Confirm whether the copy is standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Huntsman Weapon Case receives no new drops, although existing cases and Trade Up Contracts can still produce Torque copies. Professional players coldzera, tarik, and Hiko own the skin, but sustained buying demand and price growth remain uncertain. Traders should compare matching exteriors and versions rather than assume every available copy has the same market position.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case source receives no new drops

• Documented ownership by coldzera, tarik, and Hiko

• Distinctive robotics-inspired artwork with bright yellow accents

• Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir collecting options

AUG | Torque earns a medium investment rating, supported by its retired case source, accessible price level, and documented professional ownership. Those factors make it worth considering without proving future demand or appreciation. The main risk is uncertain price performance while existing cases and trade-ups can continue adding copies.
