AUG | Storm

AUG | Storm is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, built around a restrained Solid Color finish. Pale mint green covers the main body, while blue-gray and dark gray separate the supporting parts. The uncluttered look suits players who prefer muted colors to decorative artwork. It comes in all exterior grades from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with regular and Souvenir versions available.

Description

AUG | Storm gives the AUG scoped assault rifle a cool, understated appearance in CS2. As a Counter-Terrorist weapon skin, it offers a restrained option for players building a muted rifle loadout. The AUG combines accuracy, low spread, and a high firing rate, balanced by a lengthy reload. Storm's design relies on clearly separated color blocks rather than illustrations or repeating motifs. Its pale body contrasts with the darker scope assembly, keeping the weapon's components visually distinct. The simple treatment suits players who want component shapes, rather than surface artwork, to define the look. Buyers can compare regular and Souvenir copies across Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. For a specific listing, the float value, exterior label, and version are more useful checks than the finish name alone.

History and Origin

AUG | Storm was introduced on November 27, 2013, in the DreamHack 2013 update. It arrived as part of The Lake Collection, which remains its collection identity. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The skin also has a Souvenir version associated with the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. Those tournament packages distinguish its Souvenir acquisition route from buying a regular copy directly. Today, players can look for existing copies on Eneba Skins or the Steam Community Market. Player trades offer another way to acquire a particular exterior without opening a package. Package opening remains an option for obtaining the Souvenir version, while purchasing an existing copy allows selection of its exterior and float.

Finish Style

Storm uses the Solid Color finish style, with individual weapon parts spray-painted in separate, subdued shades. Pale mint green covers the main body and stock, continuing around the frame surrounding the trigger grip. The vertical foregrip introduces muted blue-gray beneath the light-colored body. The ribbed magazine uses blue-gray as well, carrying the cool palette across another clearly defined component. Dark gray defines the barrel, upper receiver, scope, and mounting rail. Lighter gray near the muzzle breaks up the otherwise dark front section. Small controls and fittings add dark gray and blue-gray contrasts against the pale body. With no visible artwork or patterned decoration, the finish creates a simple look based on component outlines and color placement.

Float Value

The float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80, describing cosmetic condition separately from whether a copy is regular or Souvenir. AUG | Storm is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior grade is missing. Souvenir copies are available alongside regular versions.

Rarity and Popularity

AUG | Storm has Consumer Grade rarity within The Lake Collection. Its Lake Collection acquisition chance is 13.35%, or about 1 in 8. Known owners include professional players FalleN, f0rest, and Zeus, although that ownership alone does not establish broader trading demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted mint green and gray suit understated loadouts

• Solid color blocks keep the design uncluttered

• All exterior grades offer room for condition preferences

• Souvenir versions provide an alternative to regular copies

Price Range

The live AUG | Storm price range is $0.01 to $220.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not fixed prices for any named exterior or version. The finish has inexpensive regular options, with exterior and Souvenir status affecting the price of individual listings. Compare the float value as well as the exterior label when assessing a CS2 skin price. On Eneba Skins, check the listed version and visible condition before choosing a copy to buy or setting an asking price to sell.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

A Souvenir AUG | Storm can be obtained by opening a DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package or an EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. This route is for the Souvenir version rather than a regular copy. Buyers seeking a particular exterior should compare existing listings instead of assuming an opening will produce their preferred condition.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy AUG | Storm on the Steam Community Market by selecting a listing for the desired exterior and version. Check whether the item is regular or Souvenir before comparing its price with another listing. Its available exteriors span Factory New through Battle-Scarred, so the condition label matters when narrowing the search.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another route to an existing AUG | Storm without a package opening. Compare the offered copy's exterior, float value, and Souvenir status before agreeing to the exchange. Matching the version matters when evaluating a trade, because a shared finish name does not make every copy equivalent.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Regular copies offer a low entry cost, while Souvenir versions create a separate comparison within the same finish. Supply pressure, demand trends, and resale speed remain uncertain, so professional ownership should not be treated as evidence of easy flips. Before buying, selling, or trading, compare the same exterior and version, then check the individual float.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Low entry cost for regular copies

• Souvenir versions offer a distinct collecting option

• Known ownership by FalleN, f0rest, and Zeus

• Muted palette suits understated rifle loadouts

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor: inexpensive regular copies offer accessibility, but there is limited evidence for a scarcity-led investment case. Souvenir availability and known professional ownership add collecting context without demonstrating sustained demand. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, with no established supply constraint supporting an expectation of price growth.
