AUG | Arctic Wolf

AUG | Arctic Wolf is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist scoped assault rifle, featuring a Custom Paint Job inspired by an arctic wolf's coat. White, light gray and charcoal patches cover the body, contrasting with dark upper parts and a reddish-brown magazine. Its animal-inspired pattern suits players who prefer pale colors with darker detailing. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

AUG | Arctic Wolf gives the CS2 rifle a fur-like pattern rather than a uniform painted surface. The AUG delivers accurate, tightly grouped shots at a rapid firing pace, balanced by a lengthy reload. This finish makes the receiver and stock visually busy while keeping much of the barrel and front grip white. Dark scope components provide contrast above the patterned body. Small red details and the reddish-brown magazine interrupt the otherwise white, gray and charcoal palette. The look suits Counter-Terrorist loadouts built around pale tones, animal motifs or contrasting dark equipment. Buyers can choose among all available exterior grades without limiting the search to a single condition. For a specific purchase, compare the float value and whether the listing is a standard, StatTrak or Souvenir version.

History and Origin

AUG | Arctic Wolf was released on November 18, 2019, alongside the Shattered Web Case. Its debut came with the Operation Shattered Web update. The finish was created by blossomalex, a Steam Workshop community designer. It belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which is also relevant to its trade-up route. The case's release history is separate from its current availability. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Shattered Web Case no longer drops. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open, so retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Today, players can also obtain the skin through direct purchases, player trades or qualifying trade-up contracts.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job interprets an arctic wolf's pale coat through irregular patches rather than a literal animal illustration. Most of the barrel and front grip are white, with dark markings around the muzzle. Small dark speckles appear at the base of the front grip. Across the receiver and stock, white, light gray and charcoal shapes create a mottled, fur-like surface that becomes darker toward the rear. The pistol grip carries pale, jagged markings against a dark background, while the trigger guard stays dark. A reddish-brown magazine introduces a contrasting color and a raised rectangular grid texture. Small red accents appear near the trigger and above the receiver. The dark gray scope and upper mounting parts contrast with the busy pattern below, giving the upper assembly a more restrained appearance.

Float Value

AUG | Arctic Wolf has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.70. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of these grades excluded. StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are also available, but version selection is separate from the cosmetic condition described by the exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

AUG | Arctic Wolf is a Restricted rifle skin from The Shattered Web Collection. Its chance of appearing from the Shattered Web Case is 3.2%, and existing cases can still be opened even though the case no longer drops. Documented professional owners include kennyS, s1mple and Skadoodle, establishing ownership without proving broader demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• White and charcoal patches give the rifle a distinctive animal-inspired finish

• Dark scope components contrast with the pale body

• Every exterior grade offers a condition choice

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden the available options

Price Range

The live AUG | Arctic Wolf price range is $1.39 to $23.70. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a particular exterior or version. Compare each listing's exterior and exact float value instead of treating every copy within a wear grade as identical. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings should also be checked separately when comparing the CS2 skin price. Before deciding to buy, sell or trade, match the listing details to the version and condition being sought.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shattered Web Case

Open an existing Shattered Web Case for a chance to receive AUG | Arctic Wolf. The skin's stated chance is 3.2%, so opening the case does not secure this particular result. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Shattered Web Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. AUG | Arctic Wolf is a possible result, not a certain outcome. The contract selects randomly among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy AUG | Arctic Wolf directly through a listing on the Steam Community Market rather than relying on a case opening. Check the exterior, float value and version before choosing a copy. A direct purchase allows selection of the listed item instead of accepting a random case or contract result.

5. Trade with Other Players

AUG | Arctic Wolf can also be acquired through a trade with another player. Compare the offered copy's exterior, float value and version with the item being sought. Assess the complete exchange rather than assuming every Arctic Wolf listing represents the same condition or version.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement limits the Shattered Web Case supply to existing cases, although openings and trade-up contracts can still produce additional Arctic Wolf copies. Professional ownership is documented, but sustained buyer demand and resale speed remain uncertain. For practical comparisons, separate standard, StatTrak and Souvenir copies, then check exterior and float before evaluating an offer.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply limits future case availability

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive arctic-coat pattern with contrasting details

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment outlook is medium, supported by retired case supply, documented professional ownership and several available version choices. Those features provide reasons to consider holding the skin, but they do not establish a lasting upward price trend. The main risk is that further openings and trade-ups can add copies while future buyer demand remains uncertain.
