AUG | Sweeper

AUG | Sweeper is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist AUG, featuring a mottled brown, gray, and red mesh finish. Its patterned body contrasts with a mostly dark scope, barrel, and upper rail. The earthy palette suits players who prefer subdued colors with scattered red accents. All exterior tiers are available, alongside Souvenir versions, but there is no StatTrak™ edition.

Description

AUG | Sweeper gives the Counter-Terrorist side's scoped assault rifle a textured, utilitarian appearance in CS2. The AUG pairs tight shot grouping and rapid fire with a longer reload time. Its Sweeper finish uses spray-painted mesh rather than a single solid color across the weapon. Red bands and spots break through the brown and gray body, giving the lower sections a busy visual character. The mostly dark upper assembly keeps that pattern concentrated around the receiver, stock, and grips. This look suits players building an earthy loadout or seeking red accents without a predominantly red rifle. Buyers can choose between standard and Souvenir copies, with exterior options covering the full set of wear categories. When comparing listings, the useful distinctions are the version, exact float value, exterior, and appearance of the individual copy.

History and Origin

AUG | Sweeper was released on September 3, 2018. It arrived through the update named "London 2018 Souvenir Packages". The skin belongs to The 2018 Inferno Collection, which establishes its collection origin. Valve created the design rather than a community designer. Its Souvenir edition appears in 11 packages, including the London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package. The Katowice 2019 Inferno Souvenir Package provides another tournament connection for this finish. Today, buyers can obtain standard or Souvenir copies through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players. Opening a compatible souvenir package remains an acquisition route, while buying an existing listing allows selection of a particular exterior and float.

Finish Style

Sweeper uses the Spray-Paint finish style to create a mesh pattern across the AUG. Brown, gray, and red form a mottled surface over the body and stock rather than sharply separated color blocks. Pale gray patches interrupt the darker areas, adding contrast within the patterned sections. Irregular red bands and spots extend across the receiver, rear stock, pistol grip, and vertical foregrip. Small rounded mesh cells are especially visible on the stock and foregrip, giving those surfaces a textured appearance. The magazine carries a contrasting gray and brown pattern over its raised rectangular details. Meanwhile, the barrel, upper rail, and scope remain mostly dark gray, visually separating them from the lower body. The result balances a busy mesh finish below with a quieter upper profile, keeping the red accents embedded within an earthy palette.

Float Value

The AUG | Sweeper float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.60. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior category missing. Souvenir versions exist; version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

AUG | Sweeper is a Consumer Grade skin in The 2018 Inferno Collection. Its chance within that collection is 16.01%, which should not be treated as a package-specific probability. Professional players flusha, kennyS, and f0rest have owned the skin, though ownership alone does not establish broad market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Brown, gray, and red mesh suits earthy rifle loadouts

• Dark upper components contrast with the patterned lower body

• All exterior categories provide a broad choice of conditions

• Souvenir versions connect the finish to tournament packages

Price Range

The live AUG | Sweeper price range is $0.01 to $15.00. These bounds cover the skin as a whole, not a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match standard listings with standard listings and Souvenir copies with Souvenir copies. Then compare the exterior and exact float, since a shared wear category does not identify an identical copy. Buyers choosing a play skin and sellers setting an asking price should also inspect the individual item rather than treating the overall range as a valuation.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a compatible souvenir package, such as the London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package, for a chance to obtain AUG | Sweeper. The Katowice 2019 Inferno Souvenir Package is another option among the 11 supported packages. This route does not allow direct selection of the skin or its exact float.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a standard or Souvenir copy of AUG | Sweeper on the Steam Community Market. Compare the listed exterior, float value, and version before choosing an item. Purchasing a specific listing avoids relying on a package opening to obtain this finish.

4. Trade with Other Players

AUG | Sweeper can also be acquired through trades with other players. Confirm the exact exterior, float, and standard or Souvenir version before agreeing to exchange items. Compare current listings when assessing the proposed trade value, rather than assuming every copy has the same value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Sweeper is a low-priced Consumer Grade finish, with standard and Souvenir copies offering different options for buyers who want to buy, sell, or trade. Ownership by named professionals provides visibility, but does not establish resale speed or sustained demand. Supply trends and price history are uncertain, so comparisons should focus on matching versions, exteriors, and floats rather than anticipated appreciation.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Low-priced entry to The 2018 Inferno Collection

• Souvenir versions linked to tournament packages

• Ownership by flusha, kennyS, and f0rest

• Distinctive brown, gray, and red mesh finish

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting its low-priced Consumer Grade position and uncertain market demand. Souvenir availability, professional ownership, and the collection connection offer reasons to consider it as a play skin or collection purchase. The main risk is uncertain resale demand and supply trends, so those features should not be mistaken for evidence of future returns.
