AUG | Momentum

AUG | Momentum is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist AUG, finished with turquoise tones, coral-red accents, and forward-pointing arrows. Its angular graphics suit players who prefer colorful, geometric weapon designs. The finish is available in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred. Standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions give buyers different options to compare.

Description

AUG | Momentum gives the Counter-Terrorist scoped assault rifle a colorful Custom Paint Job finish in CS2. The AUG pairs tight shot dispersion with rapid fire, offset by a lengthy reload. Dark teal and bright turquoise dominate the body, with coral-red details adding contrast across several weapon parts. Pale cyan and white arrows point toward the muzzle, making direction the central theme of the design. The painted grips and magazine carry the palette beyond the receiver, while the dark gray scope remains visually restrained. This look suits players building a turquoise-and-red loadout or seeking geometric graphics rather than a plain rifle finish. Available exterior and version choices let collectors focus on cosmetic condition, StatTrak functionality, or a Souvenir copy. Buyers can compare the actual appearance, float value, and version of individual listings rather than choosing by the finish name alone.

History and Origin

AUG | Momentum entered CS:GO on March 13, 2019, alongside the Prisma Case. Its release formed part of the Prisma Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer MultiH created the finish, giving the item a community-designed origin. The skin belongs to The Prisma Collection, which also determines its supported trade-up route. Its flavor text emphasizes continuous forward motion, reinforcing the direction of the painted arrows. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Prisma Case drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, preserving the original acquisition route despite that retirement. Today, the skin can also be obtained through marketplace purchases, player trades, or a successful trade-up contract.

Finish Style

Momentum uses a Custom Paint Job to combine broad color gradients with sharp, angular graphics across the AUG. The receiver and stock are primarily dark teal and bright turquoise, establishing a cool-colored base for the contrasting details. Clusters of pale cyan and white arrows run along the upper body, pointing forward toward the muzzle. Coral-red coloring covers the muzzle and blends into the darker barrel, separating the front end from the turquoise body. Both the vertical foregrip and pistol grip have teal upper sections that transition into bright coral-red bottoms. The ribbed magazine remains turquoise through most of its length, then switches to coral red along its lower section. Red accents also appear on the rear edge of the stock, extending the warm contrast to the back of the rifle. A dark gray scope provides a quieter visual element above the colorful receiver, leaving the gradients and arrow shapes as the main focus.

Float Value

AUG | Momentum has a float range of 0.05 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior tier is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but these version labels are separate from the float and exterior used to describe cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

AUG | Momentum is a Classified rifle skin from The Prisma Collection. Its drop chance from the Prisma Case is 1.07%, so opening that case does not offer a reliable way to obtain this specific finish. Professional players dupreeh, tarik, and chrisJ have owned the skin, although professional ownership alone does not establish current buying demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Turquoise and coral-red colors create a distinctive contrast

• Forward-pointing arrows give the rifle a clear visual theme

• Painted grips and magazine extend the design across the weapon

• All exteriors, plus StatTrak and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live AUG | Momentum price range is $4.34 to $89.59. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a specific exterior or version. Exterior differences make it important to distinguish worn copies from Minimal Wear and Factory New options before comparing listings. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions should also be checked separately, alongside the exact float value. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match those details and inspect the appearance of the copy being considered.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Prisma Case

Opening a Prisma Case offers a chance to obtain AUG | Momentum, with a drop chance of 1.07%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract using 10 Restricted skins from The Prisma Collection produces 1 Classified skin from that collection. AUG | Momentum is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

AUG | Momentum can be bought on the Steam Community Market, allowing a direct purchase instead of a random case or contract result. Compare the exterior and version of each listing before selecting a copy.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another way to acquire AUG | Momentum by exchanging items with another owner. Check the offered skin's exterior, float, and version so the exchange matches the copy being sought.

Trading and Investment Considerations

With no new Prisma Case drops, the remaining case supply can shrink as existing cases are opened. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not establish sales volume, resale speed, or future demand. To buy, sell, or trade this finish, compare exterior, float, and version rather than treating every copy as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Prisma Case limits new case supply

• Owned by dupreeh, tarik, and chrisJ

• Distinctive turquoise and coral-red visual identity

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden collecting choices

AUG | Momentum earns a medium investment rating, supported by its retired case source, distinctive finish, and professional ownership. Its main risk is that existing case openings can still add skins without evidence of matching buying demand. The evidence supports cautious collecting rather than a prediction of price growth.
