MAG-7 | SWAG-7

MAG-7 | SWAG-7 is a CS2 shotgun skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, featuring silver, gray, and black artwork. Large lettering and overlapping symbols cover the receiver and grip, contrasting with the quieter fore-end. Its monochrome look suits players who prefer graphic detail without bright colors. All listed exterior conditions are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MAG-7 | SWAG-7 gives the Counter-Terrorist shotgun a graphic-heavy monochrome treatment using a Patina finish. The weapon belongs to the Heavy category and delivers substantial damage at close range. Its magazine-based reload offers a practical distinction alongside the skin's visual appeal. Silver and black designs create the main color scheme, with dark gray adding depth between the contrasting areas. Large SWAG lettering anchors the receiver artwork, while smaller symbols fill the surrounding space. Cleaner surfaces on the fore-end and barrel keep the dense graphics from covering every visible part equally. This finish suits a silver-and-black loadout or players who want lettering and illustration rather than a simple color coating. Buyers can choose among the available exteriors and versions, checking each listing's float and images before selecting a copy.

History and Origin

MAG-7 | SWAG-7 arrived in CS:GO on February 14, 2018, through the Clutch Case Skins update. The Honey Badger created the artwork as a Steam Workshop community designer. The finish belongs to The Clutch Collection, which also supplies its collection-based trade-up route. It was introduced in the Clutch Case, and opening that case remains a way to obtain the skin today. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Clutch Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, separating current acquisition from the original release and former drop availability. Buyers who want a specific copy can instead use marketplace listings or player trades, without relying on a random case-opening result.

Finish Style

The Patina finish presents a monochrome design built around black, dark gray, and silver rather than a bright accent color. Dense graphics spread across the receiver and grip, giving those surfaces most of the artwork's visual weight. Large gray SWAG lettering appears inside a black rectangular panel on the receiver's side. Smaller hearts, stars, outlined geometric shapes, and stylized lettering overlap around the larger text. The broad fore-end is mostly plain gray, creating a quieter area beside the illustrated receiver. The barrel has a silver surface with black sections near its base, continuing the same restrained palette. Bright silver faces and darker blocks divide the magazine into contrasting areas. Together, these placements create a busy central design balanced by simpler surrounding components, making the lettering and symbols the defining visual features.

Float Value

The MAG-7 | SWAG-7 float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.92. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of those conditions is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version choice is separate from the exterior and exact float of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

MAG-7 | SWAG-7 has Restricted rarity, which identifies its item grade rather than its exterior condition. Its stated chance from a Clutch Case opening is 3.2%, so opening the case does not guarantee this particular finish. Documented professional owners include KRIMZ, mixwell, and karrigan, although ownership alone does not establish continuing market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Monochrome colors suit silver-and-black loadouts

• Dense lettering and symbols give the receiver a distinct identity

• Full exterior selection supports different condition preferences

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden collecting choices

Price Range

The live MAG-7 | SWAG-7 price range is $0.33 to $21.64. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than a fixed exterior or version. Its accessible price level still leaves buyers with choices across exterior conditions, exact floats, and available versions. Compare regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings separately instead of assuming that the same exterior makes them equivalent purchases. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, check listing images and item details alongside the asking price before deciding what to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Clutch Case

Open a Clutch Case for a chance to receive this Restricted finish, with a stated probability of 3.2%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases remain available to buy and open; this route cannot select a particular exterior or result.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Clutch Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. SWAG-7 is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins rather than a guaranteed selection.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed copy directly on the Steam Community Market to select the skin instead of relying on a random outcome. Check the listing's exterior, version, and available item details before purchasing, particularly when comparing copies with different floats.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading provides another route to MAG-7 | SWAG-7 through an exchange of items. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float, and version before accepting, so the item received matches the intended condition and collecting preference.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit replenishment of Clutch Cases, but existing case openings and trade-up contracts can still add copies of this skin. Professional ownership provides a documented point of interest, not proof of sustained buyer demand or predictable resale. Before choosing a copy to buy, sell, or trade, compare its exterior, exact float, and version rather than treating every listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case source limits new case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive monochrome artwork and prominent lettering

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment rating is medium, reflecting the retired case source, accessible price level, and documented professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain future demand while existing case openings and trade-ups can continue adding skins, so those positives do not establish a reliable return.
