How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's grade, while case odds describe its chance of appearing. MAG-7 | Monster Call is Restricted and has a 3.2% chance from the Fracture Case.

How much does MAG-7 | Monster Call cost?

MAG-7 | Monster Call ranges from $0.26 to $50.00. These bounds cover the whole skin; compare each listing's exterior, float, and version.

Which exteriors are available for MAG-7 | Monster Call?

Short Description

MAG-7 | Monster Call is a Counter-Terrorist shotgun skin in CS2 with colorful underwater creature artwork. A blue and teal base carries purple, green, and yellow monsters with prominent teeth and contrasting eyes. Its dense illustration suits aquatic themes and colorful loadouts. All exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

MAG-7 | Monster Call is a CS2 Heavy weapon skin that applies a Custom Paint Job finish to the Counter-Terrorist-exclusive shotgun. The weapon is built around powerful damage at close range. Its magazine-style reloads are another defining feature of the underlying shotgun. Monster Call features a dense scene of underwater creatures. A purple creature dominates the front, while green and yellow figures extend across the receiver. Simpler markings on the barrel and upper fittings contrast with the detailed body artwork. The look suits players who prefer illustrated designs, contrasting colors, and a distinctly aquatic theme. Professional players flusha, kennyS, and s1mple have owned this skin. Buyers can compare exterior, float value, and version without treating every copy as the same item.

History and Origin

MAG-7 | Monster Call was released in CS:GO on August 6, 2020, alongside the Fracture Case. Its introduction came through the Fracture Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer GENT created the finish. The skin belongs to The Fracture Collection, which also provides its supported trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Fracture Case no longer drops, so new case drops do not replenish its unopened supply. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping the original case-opening route available. Today, the skin can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market, traded between players, or obtained through eligible Trade Up Contracts.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job uses a blue and teal receiver as the background for an underwater creature scene. Dark purple-blue coloring covers the barrel, upper fittings, and grip, giving those parts a deeper tone. A large purple sea creature occupies the front section, with a pale eye and an open, sharp-toothed mouth. Green and yellow creatures stretch through the middle and rear of the receiver. Their red mouths and white teeth create sharp contrasts against the surrounding cool colors. Orange accents underneath the creatures add another warm color to the illustration. Small turquoise speckles and faint aquatic shapes continue onto the grip and magazine, carrying the theme beyond the receiver. The body remains densely illustrated, while simpler barrel and upper-fitting markings keep those sections visually distinct.

Float Value

The MAG-7 | Monster Call float range is 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are also available, but these version labels are separate from the skin's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

MAG-7 | Monster Call has the Restricted rarity grade. Its stated chance from a Fracture Case opening is 3.2%, or about 1 in 31 drops. Ownership by flusha, kennyS, and s1mple gives it professional visibility, without establishing how strongly buyers currently demand it.

Why it’s Popular:

• Colorful underwater creatures give the shotgun a distinct identity

• Detailed receiver artwork contrasts with simpler barrel markings

• All exteriors offer a broad choice of conditions

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions provide additional collecting options

Price Range

The live MAG-7 | Monster Call price range is $0.26 to $50.00, covering the skin as a whole. Compare exterior, individual float value, and standard, StatTrak™, or Souvenir version when checking a listing. The broad exterior selection makes like-for-like comparisons more useful than choosing by the finish name alone. Use the live CS2 skin price listings to match a preferred condition and version before deciding what to buy or sell.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Fracture Case

Open a Fracture Case for a chance to receive Monster Call, with a stated probability of 3.2%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Opening one does not guarantee this particular skin.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Fracture Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Monster Call is a possible result. The outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins, so the contract cannot select it directly.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy MAG-7 | Monster Call directly through the Steam Community Market rather than relying on a random case or contract result. Compare the listing's exterior, float value, and version to make sure the chosen copy matches the intended purchase.

5. Trade with Other Players

Obtain Monster Call by trading skins with another player. Check the offered copy's exterior, float value, and version before agreeing, since the finish name alone does not describe its condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Fracture Case supply is no longer replenished through drops, although existing cases can still produce additional Monster Call copies when opened. Available standard and StatTrak listings give buyers several exterior choices to compare when they buy, sell, or trade. Professional ownership supports visibility, but reliable resale demand and price trends remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case drops limit replenishment of unopened case supply

• Distinctive aquatic artwork gives the finish a clear identity

• Professional ownership supports visibility

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different collecting options

MAG-7 | Monster Call receives a medium investment rating, supported by retired case drops, accessible pricing, and professional ownership. Existing cases can still produce copies, while uncertain resale demand is the main risk for traders seeking gains. This is an editorial opinion, not financial advice.
