Huntsman Knife | Lore

★ Huntsman Knife | Lore is a CS2 knife skin with a custom-painted gold blade and intricate knotwork. Its dark olive handle contrasts with the bright finish, keeping the decorative blade at the center of the design. The look suits players who prefer gold accents and detailed patterns paired with a restrained grip. Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors are available, alongside standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Huntsman Knife | Lore combines the Huntsman's tactical profile with an ornate Custom Paint Job. The broad blade, Tanto point and hooked spine notches give the painted decoration a distinctive physical outline. Yellow-gold coloring creates a bright focal point, while darker gold grounds the design around the base and guard. Fine knotwork adds surface detail, with a larger interlaced motif outlined near the tip. A dark olive handle provides a quieter visual counterweight, keeping the patterned blade prominent within the overall color scheme. This look suits gold-accented loadouts and players seeking decorative detail without elaborate artwork covering the grip. The skin is owned by professional players kioShiMa, ngiN and DANK1NG. Buyers can compare exterior condition, float value and standard versus StatTrak versions when choosing a copy to buy or trade.

History and Origin

The Huntsman Knife | Lore was released on September 21, 2021, with the Operation Riptide update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. The Operation Riptide Case was its original case source at release. The Dreams & Nightmares Case also provides a route to obtaining this knife. Operation Riptide cases stopped dropping when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that acquisition route. As of October 9, 2026, the Dreams & Nightmares Case remains in the Weekly Care Package drop pool. Market purchases and player trades provide access to finished copies separately from these case-opening routes.

Finish Style

The Lore finish uses a Custom Paint Job to place ornamental knotwork across the blade. Its main surface is bright yellow-gold, creating a warm background for the looping pattern. Darker gold appears around the blade base and guard, adding variation within the same color family. Fine interwoven lines cover the blade, while a larger dark-outlined motif gives the tip area a more defined centerpiece. The curved cutting edge and hooked spine notches frame the decoration with an irregular silhouette. Lengthwise streaks run along the dark olive handle, which remains visually simpler than the blade. Deep finger grooves and three round fasteners add clearly visible structural details to the grip. Gold-colored trim follows the handle edge, connecting the restrained handle to the blade's more elaborate treatment.

Float Value

The Huntsman Knife | Lore has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.65. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, with version choice separate from exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The Huntsman Knife | Lore has the Covert rarity grade. Its specific drop chance from the Operation Riptide Case is 0.0085%, which should not be treated as an odds figure for the Dreams & Nightmares Case. Availability spans both case sources, although only Dreams & Nightmares currently receives new weekly case drops.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright gold blade with detailed looping knotwork

• Dark olive grip provides a restrained color contrast

• Distinctive Huntsman silhouette with hooked spine notches

• Standard and StatTrak versions support different preferences

• Owned by kioShiMa, ngiN and DANK1NG

Price Range

The live Huntsman Knife | Lore price range is $71.19 to $415.50. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a fixed price for any particular exterior or version. Exterior and float should be considered together when comparing the condition of individual copies. Standard and StatTrak listings provide another distinction to check when evaluating the CS2 skin price. A useful listing comparison matches the intended version and exterior, then reviews the actual float and asking price before buying.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open an Operation Riptide Case or Dreams & Nightmares Case for a chance to receive this knife. The specific Operation Riptide Case chance is 0.0085%, so obtaining the Lore finish through that route is far from assured. Buying a finished copy avoids relying on a random case-opening result.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct route to buying the Huntsman Knife | Lore. Check the exterior and whether the listing is standard or StatTrak, then inspect the individual copy's float where available before selecting it.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another way to acquire the knife by exchanging items with another owner. Confirm the exact finish, exterior, float and StatTrak status before accepting, whether the goal is to obtain the Lore finish or trade an existing copy.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Supply has mixed drivers: retired Operation Riptide cases receive no new drops, while Dreams & Nightmares cases continue entering through Weekly Care Packages. Professional ownership is established, but it does not demonstrate sales volume, liquidity or a future price trend. Buyers looking to buy, sell or trade should compare matching exteriors and versions rather than treating every Lore listing as equivalent.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Retired original case source

• Valve-created ornamental Lore finish

• Distinctive gold blade and olive handle

• Standard and StatTrak options

The investment rating is medium, balancing professional ownership and the retired original case source against continuing availability through Dreams & Nightmares. The original case's retirement does not make the skin's overall supply closed. The main risk is ongoing new supply without established sales-volume or price-trend evidence to support an appreciation claim.
