Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened

★ Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened is a CS2 knife skin with a mottled metallic blade and a mostly black handle. Gold, blue, purple and pink patches give the finish a colorful, irregular appearance. It suits players who prefer expressive metalwork paired with a restrained grip. Every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred is available, alongside standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened brings multicolored metalwork to a tactical knife in CS2. The underlying knife combines combat and utility purposes, with a distinctive Tanto point defining its tip. Gold, blue, purple and pink areas make the blade the main visual focus. A mostly black handle balances those colors, making the design suitable for players who want a vivid blade without an equally busy grip. The notched spine and recessed blade channel add detail beyond the color treatment itself. Standard and StatTrak versions give buyers another choice alongside cosmetic condition. Exterior options span Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with exact float values helping distinguish individual copies within that range. Before buying, compare the displayed knife, its float and its version rather than treating every listing as interchangeable.

History and Origin

★ Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened entered CS:GO on May 1, 2014. Its debut accompanied the Huntsman Weapon Case in the "Huntsman Case Skins" update. Valve created the design rather than a community designer. Its original acquisition route was opening that case for a chance at the knife. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, the Huntsman Weapon Case no longer drops, so new cases do not enter supply through drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, keeping the original acquisition route accessible despite the retirement. Today, finished copies can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player-to-player trades.

Finish Style

Case Hardened uses a Patina finish, with its color treatment produced by heating the metal with wood charcoal. The metallic blade combines light gold and yellow with cyan-blue, purple and pink patches. On the pictured knife, a broad light-gold area occupies the center of the blade. Stronger blue and purple sections appear near the tip and where the blade approaches the handle. A notched upper edge and a slender recessed channel provide additional definition across the metal surface. The guard is predominantly pale gold, interrupted by smaller blue and purple marks. The black grip features diagonal ridges, pronounced finger grooves and fasteners with a blue tint. That subdued handle provides a dark backdrop for the blade's busy, uneven arrangement of color.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened ranges from 0.00 to 1.00. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, covering the complete exterior lineup. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; version availability is separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated chance of appearing from the Huntsman Weapon Case is 0.02%, making a case opening an uncertain acquisition route. Finished knives remain available to buy and trade even though their originating case no longer drops.

Why it’s Popular:

• Multicolored metalwork gives the blade a distinctive visual identity

• Dark handle balances the busy blade pattern

• Every exterior tier offers a condition choice

• StatTrak availability adds another version option

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range is $129.99 to $1,965.31. These bounds cover the item as a whole, not a fixed exterior or version. Exterior and exact float are useful starting points when comparing the condition of individual listings. Check standard and StatTrak copies separately so the version matches the offer being considered. Compare the displayed finish and asking price together before choosing a copy to buy or setting a listing to sell.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Huntsman Weapon Case

Open the Huntsman Weapon Case for a chance at this knife, with a stated probability of 0.02%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Buying a finished copy avoids the uncertainty of trying to obtain this particular knife through an opening.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy a listed copy of ★ Huntsman Knife | Case Hardened on the Steam Community Market. Check its exterior, exact float and whether it is standard or StatTrak before choosing an offer. This route lets the buyer select an available knife instead of relying on a case result.

4. Trade with Other Players

Acquire the knife through a player-to-player trade using an exchange agreed with another owner. Confirm the exact item, exterior and version before accepting, and inspect the offered copy's appearance. Trading provides a route to an existing knife without opening the Huntsman Weapon Case.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired case limits fresh case supply, but openings of existing stock can still add knives to the market. Compare exterior, float and StatTrak status consistently when evaluating offers to buy, sell or trade. Without verified demand trends, scarcity alone does not establish how quickly a particular copy will sell.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Originating case no longer receives new drops

• Low stated chance from case openings

• Distinctive multicolored metallic finish

• StatTrak option for version-focused buyers

The editorial investment rating is medium, reflecting the retired case, low opening odds and distinctive finish. Those characteristics provide a scarcity-based holding rationale, but verified demand and price trends are unavailable. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, while remaining case stock can continue producing additional knives.
