Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT

The ★ Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT is a CS2 knife skin with a hydrographic digital camouflage finish. Muted green, khaki, beige, and dark brown cover its broad blade, contrasting with a nearly black handle. The subdued palette suits players building a tactical-themed loadout rather than choosing bright colors. Buyers can select across all exterior categories, with standard and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

The ★ Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT brings a pixelated camouflage treatment to the Huntsman Knife in CS2. Its broad blade and Tanto point give the weapon a distinctive tactical profile. The camouflage reaches across the blade and guard, making the pattern central to its appearance. A dark, textured handle provides a restrained contrast to the densely patterned metal sections. Bright metal along the cutting edge adds a narrow highlight without changing the finish's muted character. This look suits players who prefer earthy colors and visible blade details over a vivid color scheme. Standard and StatTrak versions give buyers a choice beyond the exterior alone. When comparing copies, the finish, float value, version, and inspection image help establish what each listing actually offers.

History and Origin

The knife was released in CS:GO on May 1, 2014. It arrived with the Huntsman Weapon Case through the Huntsman Case Skins update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer contributing it through a separate submission. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops of the Huntsman Weapon Case. Opening an existing case still offers a chance to obtain this finish, despite that change to case availability. The cases themselves remain available to buy on the market, keeping the original acquisition route usable. Today, buyers can also purchase finished copies through the Steam Community Market or arrange player trades instead of opening a case.

Finish Style

Forest DDPAT uses a Hydrographic finish to place a digital camouflage design on the knife. Its palette combines muted green, khaki, beige, and dark brown rather than a single dominant bright color. Small squares and stepped patches create a dense, blocky surface pattern. That camouflage covers the broad blade and continues across the guard, connecting those sections visually. A thin, bright metallic line follows the cutting edge and separates it from the painted blade face. Prominent hooked notches along the spine provide another visible feature beyond the camouflage itself. The nearly black handle has fine ridges and deep finger grooves, giving it a textured appearance. Green circular fasteners and small camouflage-covered sections interrupt the otherwise plain dark handle, linking it back to the blade's colors.

Float Value

The ★ Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT has a float value range of 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of these categories is excluded. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but no Souvenir version exists; version availability is separate from an individual copy's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The knife belongs to the Covert rarity grade, which is separate from its float value and exterior. Its chance of being obtained from the Huntsman Weapon Case is 0.02%, making an opening an uncertain route to this specific finish. Existing copies can still be bought or traded, and existing cases remain usable even though the case no longer drops.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted digital camouflage suits understated, tactical-themed loadouts

• Broad blade gives the dense pattern plenty of visible space

• Dark handle contrasts with earthy colors and a bright cutting edge

• StatTrak availability offers an alternative to the standard version

Price Range

The live ★ Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT price range is $46.89 to $436.75. Exterior and float value should be compared together, since a condition label does not replace inspecting the listed copy. Standard and StatTrak versions are separate buying options, so match the version before comparing offers. Asking prices can vary widely, and a high listing price alone does not establish what a comparable copy will sell for. Use Eneba's CS2 skin price comparison alongside each listing's image and item details before deciding where to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Huntsman Weapon Case

Open the Huntsman Weapon Case for a chance to obtain this knife finish. The chance for this specific skin is 0.02%, so opening a case does not provide a dependable way to select it. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct-purchase route for the ★ Huntsman Knife | Forest DDPAT. Compare the listed exterior, float value, and standard or StatTrak version before selecting a copy. Buying a listed knife avoids relying on the random result of a Huntsman Weapon Case opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another way to obtain this finish using an agreed exchange. Confirm the knife's identity, exterior, float value, and StatTrak status before accepting, rather than judging the offer by the finish name alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops restrict new case supply, but existing cases and finished knives remain available to buy or trade. A wide spread of asking prices does not establish consistent demand or reliable resale opportunities. Before preparing to sell, compare copies with matching exteriors and versions, then check their floats and visible condition.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Huntsman Weapon Case drops

• Covert rarity with a 0.02% case-opening chance

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer distinct collecting options

• Distinctive digital camouflage and Tanto blade design

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case drops, Covert rarity, and the available StatTrak option. Those features do not establish sustained buyer demand or a dependable resale price. The main risk is overpaying for a listing whose asking price is not representative of comparable copies.
