AK-47 | Panthera onca

AK-47 | Panthera onca is a CS2 rifle skin that combines a spotted jaguar with earthy camouflage and decorated wooden furniture. Its olive, tan, and brown palette contrasts with the yellow animal artwork and reddish-brown stock. The layered design suits players who prefer wildlife imagery and ornamental details over a simple color scheme. It comes in all five exteriors, with standard and Souvenir versions but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

AK-47 | Panthera onca is a Classified CS2 skin for the Terrorist-side AK-47 rifle. Its Custom Paint Job combines animal artwork, camouflage, and decorative wood into a detailed finish. The jaguar stretches along the receiver, making the side of the weapon a focal point. Carved-looking motifs on the stock and handguard give the wooden sections their own visual interest. Olive, tan, and brown tones suit players building an earth-colored loadout. The combination of wildlife imagery and angular ornamentation also gives collectors several distinct details to appreciate. Standard and Souvenir copies provide different ownership options without changing the finish's central theme. Buyers can compare the exact float value, exterior, and version alongside the asking price when choosing a copy.

History and Origin

AK-47 | Panthera onca was released on December 3, 2020, as part of The Ancient Collection. Its introduction accompanied the Operation Broken Fang update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. Today, it is available in both standard and Souvenir versions for CS2 inventories. Its Souvenir availability spans 8 packages, giving buyers several package origins to consider. These include the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. Trade Up Contracts provide another acquisition route, with Panthera onca among the possible Classified results from The Ancient Collection. Buyers can also obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or a player-to-player trade instead of pursuing a random result.

Finish Style

The finish uses a Custom Paint Job with several contrasting elements across the rifle. Patchy olive, tan, and brown camouflage covers the receiver and curved magazine. A yellow jaguar with dark spots stretches along the receiver, with its head pointing toward the barrel. The stock and handguard are reddish brown, carrying dark animal motifs that resemble carvings in the wood. Angular decorative lines accompany those motifs, adding ornamentation beyond the central jaguar illustration. The brown pistol grip shows a visible wood-grain pattern that connects it visually with the other wooden parts. Mostly dark-gray metal on the barrel and front sight contrasts with pale-gold accents around several fittings. Together, the camouflage, animal artwork, and carved-looking details create a busy composition rather than a uniform painted surface.

Float Value

The float value range for AK-47 | Panthera onca is 0.00 to 1.00, covering its full range of cosmetic conditions. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior category is missing. Standard and Souvenir versions exist, but there is no StatTrak version; version availability is separate from a copy's float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

AK-47 | Panthera onca has the Classified rarity grade within The Ancient Collection. Its acquisition chance from that collection is 0.064%, which should not be confused with the odds of a particular Trade Up Contract result. Professional players jL, Nodios, and kraghen own the skin, although that ownership does not establish how quickly an individual listing will sell.

Why it’s Popular:

• Yellow jaguar artwork contrasts with earthy camouflage

• Decorated wooden parts add detail beyond the receiver

• All exterior categories offer varied condition choices

• Souvenir versions add a package-based collecting option

Price Range

The live AK-47 | Panthera onca price range is $89.72 to $1,241.44. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed quote for any particular exterior or version. Exterior and version affect asking prices, while the exact float helps distinguish copies within the same condition category. Compare standard and Souvenir listings separately, then inspect the offered copy before deciding whether to buy, sell, or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open an eligible Ancient Souvenir Package for a chance to obtain a Souvenir copy. Panthera onca appears in 8 Souvenir Packages, including the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package and Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. This route offers a possible result rather than direct selection of the skin.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Restricted skins from The Ancient Collection to produce 1 Classified skin from that collection. Panthera onca is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins. Consider whether another eligible result would be acceptable before committing the inputs.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing copy on the Steam Community Market to select a listing rather than pursue a random acquisition result. Check the exterior and whether the item is standard or Souvenir, then inspect its float before choosing.

5. Trade with Other Players

Obtain Panthera onca by trading with another player who owns a copy. Compare the offered skin's exterior, exact float, and version with the items being exchanged. Confirm the item details before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Professional ownership gives Panthera onca a visible connection to CS2 players, but it is not proof of strong resale demand. Future supply and price trends remain uncertain, so a confident short-term flipping claim would be premature. For trading, compare standard and Souvenir copies by exterior, exact float, and current asking price rather than treating every listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive jaguar artwork and decorated wooden furniture

• Connection to The Ancient Collection

• Souvenir options with identifiable package origins

• Ownership by jL, Nodios, and kraghen

The editorial investment rating is medium, reflecting its distinctive finish, Ancient Collection identity, Souvenir options, and professional ownership. Those features provide reasons to collect it, but do not establish future price growth. The main risk is uncertain resale demand and future supply, especially when purchasing a specific exterior at its current asking price.
