AK-47 | Jaguar

AK-47 | Jaguar is a CS2 rifle skin featuring a dark panther over earthy tiger camouflage. Reddish-brown wood-grain furniture contrasts with the illustrated receiver and patterned magazine. The look suits players who prefer animal artwork and muted colors. Standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are available, with exteriors ranging from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

Description

AK-47 | Jaguar brings an animal-themed Custom Paint Job to the Terrorist side's AK-47 rifle in CS2. Its focal point is the dark panther stretched along the receiver against olive, tan and cream camouflage. The patterned magazine continues the central body's color scheme, giving the artwork a coordinated background. Reddish-brown furniture frames that busy section with visible wood-grain detail. The dark barrel provides a simpler contrast to the illustrated body. This combination suits players who favor earthy loadouts without giving up a distinctive central motif. Standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions provide different ownership options for the same Jaguar finish. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and listing images to choose a copy that matches their preferred cosmetic condition.

History and Origin

AK-47 | Jaguar was released in CS:GO on July 10, 2014. It arrived with the eSports 2014 Summer Case in the eSports 2014 Summer Case Skins update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. It belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, connecting its identity to that release. The case stopped dropping when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, so retirement did not remove the case-opening route. Current alternatives include buying existing copies on the Steam Community Market or trading with other players. Trade Up Contracts also offer a chance at Jaguar through the collection's Classified skins.

Finish Style

Jaguar uses a Custom Paint Job built around a dark panther over tiger camouflage. The olive green, tan and pale cream pattern covers the receiver and curved magazine. The panther stretches across the receiver, forming a defined silhouette against the lighter camouflage. A small red detail near its head adds an accent within the earthy palette. The reddish-brown stock, pistol grip and handguard display visible wood-grain lines. Several metal fittings carry camouflage colors, linking those parts to the painted central body. The barrel and front sight remain dark gray, contrasting with the camouflage and brown furniture. Together, these details create a busy illustrated center bordered by simpler wooden and metal surfaces.

Float Value

AK-47 | Jaguar has a float value range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is excluded. StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are also available, with version choice separate from an individual copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

AK-47 | Jaguar has the Covert rarity grade. Its chance of appearing when opening the eSports 2014 Summer Case is 0.32%, making the case route uncertain. Professional players NEO, EliGE and Pimp have owned the skin, although that ownership does not establish current resale demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Dark panther artwork gives the receiver a distinctive focal point

• Earthy camouflage pairs with reddish-brown wood-grain furniture

• All listed exterior categories offer different condition choices

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for AK-47 | Jaguar is $69.22 to $1,122.62. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Compare individual float values and listing images within the exterior category being considered. Check standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir copies separately rather than assuming their asking prices are interchangeable. Before a buy, sell or trade decision, make sure the listing matches the intended version and condition.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the eSports 2014 Summer Case

Open the eSports 2014 Summer Case for a 0.32% chance of receiving Jaguar. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This remains a random route rather than a direct purchase of the skin.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Classified skins from The eSports 2014 Summer Collection produces 1 Covert skin from that collection. Jaguar is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Covert skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing Jaguar on the Steam Community Market when a suitable listing is available. Compare the listed exterior, float and version before choosing a copy, rather than treating every Jaguar listing as equivalent.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading provides a route to exchange other items for an existing Jaguar. Check the exact exterior, float and version before agreeing to the exchange, and inspect the image for the copy's cosmetic condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired case receives no new drops, but remaining case openings and Trade Up Contracts can still produce Jaguar copies. Professional ownership offers visibility, while current demand and completed-sale trends remain uncertain. Compare exterior, float and version carefully, since the skin-wide price range is not a quote for every individual copy.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new eSports 2014 Summer Case drops

• Covert rarity with low case-opening odds

• Distinctive panther artwork and earthy camouflage

• Documented ownership by NEO, EliGE and Pimp

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by the retired case, Covert rarity and documented professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, while remaining case openings and trade-ups can still add copies, so those strengths do not promise returns.
