Short Description

AK-47 | Leet Museo is a CS2 rifle skin with a multicolored Cubist painting across its main surfaces. Angular figures and buildings mix cream, green, teal, red, mustard yellow, and dark blue. The artwork suits players who prefer illustrated loadouts with a varied color palette. All standard exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

AK-47 | Leet Museo brings a Gunsmith finish to the Terrorist-side rifle in CS2, turning its painted surfaces into a geometric illustrated scene. The design depicts Elite Crew characters approaching A-long on Dust II, interpreted through Cubist figures and architecture. Overlapping outlines and angular color blocks give the composition its fragmented visual character. Cream areas sit alongside muted green, teal, red, mustard yellow, and dark blue, creating contrast within the artwork itself. The design extends across the receiver, handguard, stock, magazine, and pistol grip rather than concentrating on a single weapon part. It suits players who want figurative artwork and mixed colors instead of a uniform painted surface. Buyers can compare standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies while checking the exterior and exact float of each listing. A listing image is also useful for examining how the composition reads across the magazine, grip, and stock before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

AK-47 | Leet Museo was released on September 21, 2021, with the Operation Riptide update. Its debut case was the Operation Riptide Case, which remains the case associated with this finish. Oscar, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the skin's artwork. It belongs to The Operation Riptide Collection, which also provides its supported trade-up route. Classified inputs from that collection can produce the finish, so case openings are not its only production route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops of the Operation Riptide Case. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, preserving the original opening route despite that retirement. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing copy through marketplace listings or arrange a direct skin exchange with another player.

Finish Style

Leet Museo uses a Gunsmith finish with a multicolored, custom-painted Cubist composition across the AK-47's main surfaces. Its palette combines cream, muted green, teal, red, mustard yellow, and dark blue without settling on a single dominant accent throughout. Angular blocks and overlapping outlines break the figures and buildings into geometric shapes, giving the artwork a busy visual texture. The receiver and handguard carry illustrated sections that place the scene across the central and forward portions of the rifle. On the curved magazine, dark blue and cream areas combine with narrow stripes and fragments of the larger composition. The stock is mostly cream, framed by red and teal borders with small, dark geometric details inside the painted area. Green and red artwork covers the upper pistol grip, while a pale lower section provides a quieter area beneath it. The barrel, front sight, and other exposed metal parts remain dark, contrasting with the painted surfaces and their densely arranged colors.

Float Value

The float value of AK-47 | Leet Museo ranges from 0.00 to 0.65. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of those standard exterior categories is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability is separate from the cosmetic condition represented by an individual copy's exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

AK-47 | Leet Museo has the Covert rarity grade, separate from its exterior condition and whether a copy has a special version. Its stated chance from the Operation Riptide Case is 0.32%, making a case opening an uncertain route to this particular finish. Professional players kennyS, tarik, and Polly own the skin, providing documented ownership without establishing how quickly an individual market listing will sell.

Why it’s Popular:

• Cubist figures and buildings give the rifle a distinctive illustrated identity

• Cream, teal, red, and dark blue support colorful loadout choices

• Painted details extend across the stock, magazine, and grip

• StatTrak and Souvenir options offer additional collecting choices

Price Range

The live AK-47 | Leet Museo price range is $54.98 to $763.99. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than representing fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Compare exterior and exact float before treating a lower asking price as better value for the intended copy. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should be checked separately, without assuming that their prices follow a fixed order. When comparing CS2 skin prices on Eneba Skins, match the item name, exterior, version, and float before choosing an offer.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Riptide Case

Open the Operation Riptide Case for a chance to obtain this skin, with a stated probability of 0.32%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Buying the skin directly avoids relying on a random case result.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Classified skins from The Operation Riptide Collection for 1 Covert skin from that collection. Leet Museo is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Covert skins. This route does not guarantee the finish.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing AK-47 | Leet Museo copy through the Steam Community Market rather than attempting a case opening or trade-up. Check the listing's exterior and version carefully, and verify its float when choosing between otherwise similar copies.

5. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns the finish and is willing to exchange it for items. Confirm the exact skin, exterior, float, and version before accepting, rather than treating every Leet Museo copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retirement limits fresh Operation Riptide Case supply, while openings of existing cases and trade-ups can still add skins to circulation. Professional ownership adds visibility, but it does not establish future demand or a reliable short-term resale margin. Before buying, selling, or trading, compare exact float, exterior, and version, keeping uncertain resale value separate from the appeal of the artwork.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Operation Riptide Cases drop

• Covert rarity with a low stated case chance

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive Cubist artwork across multiple weapon parts

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply, Covert rarity, and documented professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain future demand: existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce copies, and ownership alone does not establish sustained buying interest.
