AK-47 | Nightwish

AK-47 | Nightwish is a CS2 rifle skin for the Terrorist-side AK-47, combining neon artwork with a dark purple base. A cyan deer head, looping dreamcatchers, and pearlescent highlights define its busy appearance. The look suits players who prefer colorful, illustration-heavy weapons over understated finishes. It comes in every exterior, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

The AK-47 | Nightwish brings a dense, custom-painted design to the AK-47 rifle in CS2. The finish centers on a large cyan deer head across the receiver, with pink facial details that stand out against purple. Bright yellow and pink spirals carry the artwork across the handguard, stock, and curved magazine. Dark sections of the weapon give the cyan, pink, yellow, and orange elements a contrasting backdrop. The design suits players who want animal imagery and abstract decorative details on the same rifle. Buyers have the full exterior selection, so choosing a copy is not limited to a narrow condition range. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions offer separate options to compare, with version availability distinct from the finish's cosmetic condition. When browsing listings, inspect the float value and exterior alongside the visible artwork instead of judging the skin only by its name.

History and Origin

AK-47 | Nightwish was released in CS:GO on January 20, 2022, alongside the Dreams & Nightmares Case. Its introduction came through the Dreams & Nightmares Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Nextgenz created the finish. The skin belongs to The Dreams & Nightmares Collection, connecting it to the collection's trade-up route as well as its case. The case remains an opening route for obtaining the skin rather than merely identifying its historical release. As of October 9, 2026, the Dreams & Nightmares Case is in the Weekly Care Package drop pool. That continuing case supply allows new Nightwish copies to keep entering the market. Today, players can also buy a listed copy, trade with another player, or try a qualifying trade-up instead of opening the case.

Finish Style

The Nightwish finish uses a Custom Paint Job to turn the rifle's surfaces into a detailed illustrated composition. A dark purple base sits beneath the bright artwork, providing contrast across the painted sections. The receiver carries the main focal point, a large cyan deer head. Pink facial details, jagged lines, and smaller colorful shapes surround that central image. Yellow and pink spirals join looping dreamcatcher motifs across the handguard and stock. The curved magazine continues those decorative loops, extending the artwork beyond the rifle's main body. Narrow neon streaks cover the pistol grip, keeping that smaller section connected to the overall palette. Much of the barrel remains dark, with smaller colored accents rather than the receiver's dense imagery. Pearlescent highlights brighten the custom-painted finish, tying together its cyan, pink, yellow, and orange details.

Float Value

The AK-47 | Nightwish float range runs from 0.00 to 1.00, giving buyers the full range of exterior labels. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior tier missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but the version label is separate from float value and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

AK-47 | Nightwish has the Covert rarity grade. Its chance of appearing from the Dreams & Nightmares Case is 0.32%, making a case opening an uncertain acquisition route. Professional players dupreeh, NiKo, and tarik own the skin.

Why it’s Popular:

• Large cyan deer artwork gives the receiver a clear focal point

• Neon colors and pearlescent highlights suit colorful loadouts

• Dreamcatcher motifs connect the stock, handguard, and magazine

• Full exterior selection with StatTrak and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live AK-47 | Nightwish price range is $49.00 to $161.92. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a particular exterior or version. Exterior and float value help distinguish listings, while standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies provide separate version choices. Compare actual offers rather than assuming that a version label alone determines the cost. Before deciding to buy, sell, or trade, match each listing's condition and version to the copy under consideration.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Dreams & Nightmares Case

Open the Dreams & Nightmares Case for a chance to obtain AK-47 | Nightwish. The case is in the weekly drop pool, so its supply continues through Weekly Care Packages. The skin's opening chance is 0.32%, meaning this route cannot secure a specific Nightwish copy.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract can use 10 Classified skins from The Dreams & Nightmares Collection to produce 1 Covert skin from that collection. AK-47 | Nightwish is a possible result, not a guaranteed outcome. The result is random among the collection's Covert skins, so this route differs from buying the exact skin directly.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

AK-47 | Nightwish can be bought on the Steam Community Market by choosing a listed copy. Check the exterior, float value, and version attached to the individual offer before purchasing. Buying a specific listing avoids the random outcome involved in opening its case or completing a trade-up.

5. Trade with Other Players

AK-47 | Nightwish can also be acquired through trades with other players. Compare the offered copy's exterior, float value, and version with the items being exchanged. Confirm those details before accepting, since copies carrying the same finish name can have different conditions and version labels.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Weekly Care Package availability keeps new supply entering the market, which limits the case for treating Nightwish as a supply-constrained short-term flip. Ownership by dupreeh, NiKo, and tarik provides a visibility signal, but it does not establish how quickly an individual listing will sell. Compare exterior, float, and version before buying or trading, without assuming an established price trend or equal resale prospects across copies.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Covert rarity within the Dreams & Nightmares Case

• Distinctive neon artwork with pearlescent highlights

• Ownership by dupreeh, NiKo, and tarik

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for variant collectors

The AK-47 | Nightwish receives a medium investment rating, balancing Covert rarity and professional ownership against continuing case supply. Its neon design and available versions give collectors concrete features to choose between, but they do not establish future price growth. The main risk is ongoing supply from the weekly case pool, so a purchase should not depend on scarcity-driven returns.
