AK-47 | Olive Polycam

AK-47 | Olive Polycam is a CS2 rifle skin combining olive green panels with gray and yellow-green geometric artwork. Fine halftone dots give its patterned surfaces a speckled texture, making it suited to subdued green loadouts. Regular and Souvenir versions are available across every exterior, but there is no StatTrak™ option.

Description

AK-47 | Olive Polycam is a CS2 skin for the Terrorist side's AK-47 rifle. The weapon combines power and reliability, with short bursts helping keep its fire controlled. This finish gives it a restrained green-and-gray color scheme rather than a bright, illustrated design. Angular shapes and fine dots create visual detail across the receiver, magazine, and stock. Mostly plain olive sections on the handguard and pistol grip keep the entire rifle from looking uniformly busy. The result suits players who want geometric artwork while keeping their loadout's colors understated. Souvenir availability also gives collectors a version choice beyond the regular finish, without changing the underlying design. Buyers can compare exterior, float value, and version to find a copy that matches their cosmetic preferences and budget.

History and Origin

AK-47 | Olive Polycam was released on October 2, 2024, through the Armory update. It joined The Sport & Field Collection. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer contributing it. The skin's flavor text emphasizes careful detail, matching the fine dots within its geometric artwork. Alongside regular copies, Souvenir versions are available for buyers interested in that collecting category. Today, an existing copy can be purchased through the Steam Community Market, separately from its original introduction. Its in-game flavor text is "Attention to detail".

Finish Style

Olive Polycam uses a Spray-Paint finish built around a green and gray halftone pattern. Angular shapes overlap across the receiver, creating a dense geometric surface rather than a single solid color. The curved magazine carries gray and yellow-green artwork, continuing the patterned area beneath the rifle. That treatment also reaches the stock, visually connecting the rear section to the receiver. Fine dots break up the larger shapes and give the painted surfaces their speckled texture. The handguard and pistol grip are mostly solid olive green, offering quieter sections beside the busier artwork. Dark gray defines the barrel and front sight, with scattered yellow-green markings along the barrel assembly. Together, these details balance dense geometry with plain olive panels, giving the finish a muted but distinctly patterned character.

Float Value

The AK-47 | Olive Polycam has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.50. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of these condition tiers is missing. Souvenir copies are available; the version choice is separate from the skin's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Olive Polycam has Industrial Grade rarity, separate from its exterior condition. Its chance within The Sport & Field Collection is 13.34%, which does not describe the condition of an individual copy. Documented owners include coldzera, olofmeister, and s1mple, although professional ownership alone does not establish sustained trading demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Olive green colors suit subdued rifle loadouts

• Halftone dots add detail to the angular artwork

• Plain panels balance the busier patterned sections

• Souvenir versions offer another collecting option

Price Range

The live AK-47 | Olive Polycam price range is $0.05 to $1.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than a particular exterior or version. Regular copies sit in an accessible price bracket, but individual listings still need to be compared on their own terms. Check exterior and exact float value together, and assess regular and Souvenir listings separately. Before deciding to buy, sell, or trade, inspect the copy and confirm that its listed version matches the item being offered.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for AK-47 | Olive Polycam. Check the individual listing's exterior and version, and verify any available float information before committing to a purchase.

3. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the skin by trading with another player for an existing regular or Souvenir copy. Confirm the offered item's version, exterior, and float, then inspect its appearance before accepting the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Regular copies occupy a low-cost part of the market, while Souvenir options give collectors a separate set of listings to assess. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not prove sustained demand or easy resale. Future supply and price trends remain uncertain, so each trade should be judged on the specific copy rather than assumed scarcity or appreciation.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible regular copies offer a practical entry point

• Souvenir availability adds a distinct collecting option

• Documented ownership by coldzera, olofmeister, and s1mple

• Detailed geometric artwork gives the finish a clear identity

The editorial investment rating is medium. Accessible regular copies, Souvenir availability, and documented professional ownership provide collecting appeal, but do not establish a strong scarcity case. The main risk is uncertain future demand and supply, leaving resale performance difficult to predict.
