SCAR-20 | Torn

SCAR-20 | Torn is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist semi-automatic sniper rifle. Its pale cream and gray-beige body is crossed by jagged charcoal stripes, creating a matte, fragmented look. The neutral palette suits players who prefer irregular camouflage-style markings over bright colors or illustrated artwork. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, and Well-Worn, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

SCAR-20 | Torn gives the Counter-Terrorist sniper rifle a Spray-Paint finish built around contrasting, irregular bands. The weapon combines rapid semi-automatic fire and strong long-distance damage with slow movement and a substantial in-game purchase cost. Torn's decoration covers much of the body, including the receiver, stock, scope, magazine, and pistol grip. Pale surfaces and dark stripes keep the design recognizable without relying on lettering or a central illustration. Its neutral colors suit cream, gray, and black loadouts, while the broken markings add visual texture. The striped scope and stock carry the finish beyond the receiver, making it visible across several prominent weapon parts. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions give buyers different options within the same design. When choosing a copy, compare its exterior, exact float value, version, and pictured stripe placement rather than relying on the skin name alone.

History and Origin

SCAR-20 | Torn was released in CS:GO on November 18, 2019, alongside the Shattered Web Case. Its arrival formed part of the Operation Shattered Web update. The finish was created by dabes, a Steam Workshop community designer. It belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which identifies its collection origin separately from the weapon's finish name. The original case remains an acquisition route today because existing Shattered Web Cases can still be purchased and opened. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Shattered Web Case no longer drops, so its supply is not replenished by newly dropped containers. Buyers can also obtain the skin directly through the Steam Community Market or trades with other players, without opening its original case.

Finish Style

Torn uses the Spray-Paint finish style to turn randomized stripes into the main visual feature. A pale cream and gray-beige base runs across the receiver, stock, scope, magazine, and pistol grip. Dark charcoal bands vary in width, with jagged edges and angled sections that visually interrupt the weapon's outline. The stock and scope show broad alternating bands, giving those parts a clearly segmented appearance. On the receiver and magazine, the markings look more fragmented, with irregular shapes breaking up the lighter base. The pistol grip carries the same light-and-dark treatment, continuing the palette across the lower portion of the rifle. The exposed barrel and muzzle are mostly dark gray, while the scope's front lens appears nearly black. Across the body, the finish looks matte and busy, with no visible lettering or pictorial artwork competing with the stripe pattern.

Float Value

The SCAR-20 | Torn float range is 0.00 to 0.45, with Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, and Well-Worn exteriors available. Buyers can compare these exteriors by checking the exact float value of each listed copy. StatTrak and Souvenir versions exist, but version and cosmetic condition are separate listing details that buyers should check individually.

Rarity and Popularity

SCAR-20 | Torn is a Mil-Spec Grade skin from The Shattered Web Collection. Its stated chance from the Shattered Web Case is 11.42%, which describes the case-opening route rather than direct marketplace availability. Known professional owners include mixwell, Spiidi, and Skadoodle, although ownership alone does not establish current buyer demand or trading activity.

Why it’s Popular:

• Jagged charcoal stripes give the rifle a distinctive fragmented appearance

• Neutral cream and gray colors suit understated loadouts

• Matching markings cover the scope, stock, and main body

• StatTrak and Souvenir options offer different ownership choices

Price Range

The live SCAR-20 | Torn price range is $0.50 to $44.00. These bounds cover the skin as a whole and should not be assigned to a particular exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, check the exact float value alongside the listed cosmetic condition. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should also be distinguished before comparing asking prices for otherwise similar copies. Buyers looking to buy, sell, or trade should inspect the pictured finish and item details rather than treating every Torn listing as interchangeable.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shattered Web Case

Open the Shattered Web Case for a chance to receive SCAR-20 | Torn. The case no longer drops, but existing containers can still be bought on the market and opened. This route does not guarantee Torn or a particular exterior, so it differs from selecting a specific marketplace listing.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for SCAR-20 | Torn without requiring a case opening. Search for the desired exterior and version, then check the item details before buying. A direct purchase lets buyers target a listed copy rather than depend on a randomized case result.

4. Trade with Other Players

SCAR-20 | Torn can also be obtained by trading with other players. Check the offered item's exterior, float value, and version before agreeing to exchange skins. Confirm whether the copy is standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir, since the shared finish name does not identify every relevant listing detail.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Shattered Web Case is no longer replenished by drops, but opening existing containers can still add Torn copies to circulation. Professional ownership provides some visibility, while broad demand, trading activity, and long-term price trends remain uncertain. Compare available exteriors and versions carefully, especially when assessing whether an individual listing is suitable to buy, sell, or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Original case supply is no longer replenished by drops

• Known ownership by professional players

• Distinctive neutral palette and jagged stripe design

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting options

• Established place in The Shattered Web Collection

The investment rating for SCAR-20 | Torn is medium, balancing its retired case source, accessible price context, and documented professional ownership. Those features support consideration as a playable collectible, but they do not establish strong resale demand. The main risk is uncertain market activity, while existing case openings can continue adding skin supply despite the absence of new case drops.
