SCAR-20 | Brass

The SCAR-20 | Brass is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist semi-automatic sniper rifle, pairing brass-colored metal with dark fittings. Muted gold surfaces and a mottled texture give it an understated, industrial appearance. The look suits players who prefer metallic finishes over illustrated designs. All standard exteriors are available, alongside Souvenir versions.

Description

SCAR-20 | Brass brings a restrained metallic finish to a Counter-Terrorist rifle in CS2. The weapon combines rapid semi-automatic fire and strong long-distance damage with slower movement and a high in-game purchase cost. Its brass-colored receiver and upper rail establish the skin's visual identity without covering every component in gold. Dark hardware breaks up the metallic sections, keeping the scope, barrel, and grip visually distinct. This combination suits loadouts built around muted metal tones, black fittings, or a less decorative weapon appearance. Membership in The Norse Collection also gives buyers a specific collection identity to consider alongside the finish itself. Standard and Souvenir copies offer different ownership options, but neither includes a StatTrak counter. Before buying, selling, or arranging a trade, compare the exact float value, exterior, version, and images of the individual copy.

History and Origin

SCAR-20 | Brass was released on November 18, 2019, as part of The Norse Collection. Its introduction accompanied the Operation Shattered Web update. Valve created the skin, rather than a community designer. The finish's visual concept centers on brass-colored weapon sections instead of an illustrated scene or decorative pattern. Its flavor text references imitation gold, fitting the distinction between its golden appearance and brass identity. Today, existing copies can be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player-to-player trades. Trade Up Contracts provide another route using Industrial Grade skins from The Norse Collection to produce a random Mil-Spec Grade result. Because that result may be another skin from the collection, direct purchases are the alternative for buyers seeking Brass specifically.

Finish Style

Brass uses the Patina finish style, with its appearance centered on contrasting metal surfaces rather than printed artwork. The receiver and upper rail carry a muted brass-gold color that defines the main body of the rifle. A mottled metallic texture gives those areas visual variation without introducing a distinct decorative motif. Brass-colored sections continue around the magazine well and into the stock frame, extending the finish beyond the receiver. The barrel, muzzle, and scope remain dark gray or black, separating the functional fittings from the warmer body color. The pistol grip and stock pads also stay dark, maintaining that contrast across the rear of the weapon. A gray magazine with straight vertical grooves adds another clearly defined surface beneath the brass-colored body. Overall, the design is mostly clean and unpatterned, with its character coming from material texture, component placement, and the contrast between light and dark metal.

Float Value

The SCAR-20 | Brass float value ranges from 0.00 to 1.00. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior categories are missing. Souvenir versions exist; version availability is separate from the exterior condition of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

SCAR-20 | Brass has the Mil-Spec Grade rarity designation within The Norse Collection. Its Norse Collection acquisition chance is 0.8%, which should not be treated as the probability of a Trade Up Contract result. The rarity grade does not establish how many copies are currently listed or how quickly they sell.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted brass-gold surfaces contrast clearly with dark hardware

• Mostly unpatterned styling suits understated metallic loadouts

• All exterior categories offer different condition choices

• Souvenir versions provide an additional collecting option

Price Range

The live SCAR-20 | Brass price range runs from $59.27 to $265.31. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed price for a particular exterior or version. Compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred listings by exact float value rather than relying on the exterior label alone. Standard and Souvenir copies are separate purchase options, with no StatTrak version to include in the comparison. When comparing CS2 skin prices, check the item details and listing images together before choosing which copy to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Industrial Grade skins from The Norse Collection produces 1 Mil-Spec Grade skin from that collection. Brass is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Mil-Spec Grade skins. This route requires accepting the possibility of receiving a different finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for SCAR-20 | Brass. Check the listing's exterior, float information, and standard or Souvenir status before selecting a copy. Unlike a Trade Up Contract, purchasing a listed item allows the buyer to choose Brass rather than accept a random collection result.

4. Trade with Other Players

SCAR-20 | Brass can also be obtained through a player-to-player trade involving an existing copy. Inspect the offered item's exterior, exact float, and standard or Souvenir status before agreeing to the exchange, especially when comparing several offers.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Supply depth and sustained demand are not established, so claims about easy resale or rising prices would be premature. For a buy, sell, or trade decision, compare exact float, exterior, and standard versus Souvenir status rather than assuming all Brass copies are interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Distinctive brass-and-dark-metal appearance

• Valve-created finish from The Norse Collection

• Souvenir versions offer a separate collecting option

• Full exterior range supports different condition preferences

The editorial investment rating is medium, recognizing the distinct finish, collection identity, and Souvenir option without assuming sustained market demand. Its main risk is uncertain resale conditions, since listing depth and a long-term price trend are not established.
