SCAR-20 | Palm

The SCAR-20 | Palm is a CS2 sniper rifle skin with a subdued, stencil-painted camouflage finish. Sandy beige surfaces carry muted olive-gray patches, palm-leaf shapes, and fine mesh textures. Its low-contrast appearance suits players who prefer understated rifle finishes. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with regular and Souvenir versions available.

Description

The SCAR-20 | Palm is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist side's semi-automatic sniper rifle. The weapon combines rapid follow-up shots and strong long-distance damage with slower movement and a high in-game purchase cost. Palm gives it a Spray-Paint finish built around sandy beige and muted olive-gray camouflage. The artwork covers much of the rifle, including its scope, stock, magazine, and grip. Its restrained palette suits players who want a patterned weapon without bright accents dominating their loadout. Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors offer a choice of cosmetic conditions within the same finish. Regular and Souvenir versions are available. Buyers can compare the exact float value, exterior, version, and listing images before choosing a copy.

History and Origin

The SCAR-20 | Palm was released on August 14, 2013, during the Arms Deal update in CS:GO. It arrived as part of The Dust Collection, which remains its collection identity in CS2. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Its artwork uses a stencil approach combining palm leaves, cardboard shapes, and fine mesh. This places its origins in painted camouflage rather than an illustrated character or decorative emblem. The original release predates CS2, where the skin remains available for the SCAR-20. Today, an existing copy can be purchased through the Steam Community Market. Player-to-player trading provides another current route, separate from the skin's historical introduction.

Finish Style

Palm uses a Spray-Paint finish with sandy beige as the dominant color across most painted surfaces. Muted olive-gray markings break up that base without creating sharp color contrast. Broad, uneven patches overlap with narrower shapes that resemble palm leaves. Cardboard stencils contribute blockier forms, while the leaf shapes give the camouflage a more organic outline. Fine mesh-like texture is particularly visible on the magazine and stock. The receiver, handguard, scope, and pistol grip also carry the camouflage, spreading the design across the rifle. The exposed barrel and muzzle remain dark gray, with darker details appearing along the rails and receiver. Together, these elements give the weapon a subdued, layered appearance rather than a glossy or brightly illustrated finish.

Float Value

The SCAR-20 | Palm has a float value range of 0.06 to 0.80. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no exterior is excluded. Regular and Souvenir versions exist; version choice is separate from the copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The SCAR-20 | Palm belongs to the Industrial Grade rarity tier, which is separate from its exterior condition. Its Dust Collection probability is 26.88%, but that figure does not establish a current gameplay acquisition route. Skadoodle is among the professional players who own the skin, providing a concrete ownership reference without establishing wider demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Subdued beige and olive-gray camouflage

• Palm-leaf shapes layered with fine mesh texture

• Patterned scope, stock, magazine, and grip

• Regular and Souvenir options across all exteriors

Price Range

The live SCAR-20 | Palm price range is $8.98 to $189.38. The displayed range covers the item overall, not a specific exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match listings by exterior and then check their exact float values. Regular and Souvenir copies should also be distinguished rather than treated as interchangeable listings. Listing images help buyers assess the visible condition alongside the price, without assuming a premium for any particular pattern.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The SCAR-20 | Palm can be purchased directly through the Steam Community Market. Compare the listing's exterior and whether it is a regular or Souvenir copy before buying. This route allows buyers to select an existing item rather than rely on the collection's probability.

3. Trade with Other Players

The SCAR-20 | Palm can also be obtained through a trade with another player. This provides a way to exchange an existing item for the Dust Collection rifle skin. Check the offered copy's float value, exterior, and version before accepting the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Compare matching exteriors and regular or Souvenir versions without assuming price relationships between different variants. Market depth and wider demand are uncertain, despite confirmed ownership by Skadoodle. Players looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare matching variants rather than assume the whole skin follows a single price level.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created finish with Arms Deal origins

• Distinct Dust Collection identity

• Regular and Souvenir collecting options

• Professional ownership by Skadoodle

The investment rating is medium, reflecting its Dust Collection identity, Souvenir availability, and professional ownership while acknowledging limited market evidence. These characteristics offer collecting appeal, but they do not demonstrate increasing demand or future price growth. The main risk is uncertainty around variant-level supply and resale demand, so an investment purchase should not depend on an assumed return.
