SCAR-20 | Caged

SCAR-20 | Caged is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist semi-automatic sniper rifle. Its dark blue and purple receiver carries looping cage-like lines, with cyan accents breaking up the darker colors. The look suits players who prefer a colorful weapon body framed by mostly plain components. Regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are available across every exterior.

Description

SCAR-20 | Caged gives the Counter-Terrorist sniper rifle a Gunsmith finish built around a blue-and-purple gradient. The weapon combines rapid semi-automatic fire and strong long-range damage with slow movement and a high in-game purchase cost. Visually, the skin focuses attention on the receiver rather than spreading an equally busy design across the whole rifle. Dark looping lines cross the colored panels, creating the cage-like structure that connects the appearance to the finish name. Cyan detailing adds contrast along the receiver's lower edge and on the scope lens. This combination suits blue or purple loadouts, especially when the player wants dark surrounding parts to balance the patterned center. Professional players daps and torzsi are documented owners, although their ownership alone does not establish broader market demand. Buyers have regular, StatTrak and Souvenir options, with exterior choices covering the full condition range. Small purple and cyan patches on the stock frame and butt plate extend the receiver's palette to the rear of the rifle.

History and Origin

SCAR-20 | Caged was released on September 16, 2025. It arrived as part of the Genesis Skins update, establishing the finish's introduction to the game. That release was associated with the Sealed Genesis Terminal, which is the acquisition source linked to its origin. The finish was created by -AVR-, a Steam Workshop community designer. It belongs to The Genesis Collection. Today, existing copies can be bought on the Steam Community Market, allowing buyers to select a listed version instead of relying on a randomized result. Player-to-player trading offers another current route, with the exterior, float and version of the offered copy serving as practical checks before an exchange.

Finish Style

Caged uses the Gunsmith finish style, with its main visual identity coming from a dark blue and purple gradient. The colored treatment is concentrated on the receiver, where the pattern has room to stand out. Irregular dark loops run across those panels, forming a loose cage-like network rather than a uniform geometric grid. Cyan accents trace the receiver's lower edge and provide a brighter boundary beneath the darker colors. Small purple and cyan patches also appear on the stock frame and butt plate, connecting those areas to the central design. The barrel, scope body, magazine and grip remain dark gray, keeping much of the surrounding hardware visually restrained. Most of the stock is similarly plain, so its colored patches read as accents rather than a fully patterned surface. A bright cyan scope lens supplies another clear point of contrast away from the receiver. Together, these details create a busy central panel framed by simpler components, making the gradient and looping lines the main features to inspect.

Float Value

SCAR-20 | Caged has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00, covering its complete available condition range. Its exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior categories is missing. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but version and cosmetic condition are separate details that should both be checked in a listing.

Rarity and Popularity

SCAR-20 | Caged is Mil-Spec Grade, which identifies its rarity classification rather than the condition of an individual copy. Its stated chance from the Sealed Genesis Terminal is 11.45%, providing a specific probability for that acquisition source. Documented ownership by daps and torzsi gives it professional-player visibility, without establishing scarcity or a particular level of trading demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Blue and purple gradient with bright cyan accents

• Cage-like receiver pattern framed by plain dark components

• Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir choices

• Every exterior available for different condition preferences

Price Range

The live SCAR-20 | Caged price range is $0.05 to $1.66. These bounds cover the skin as a whole and should not be treated as fixed prices for any named exterior or version. Its accessible price level makes exact-copy comparisons worthwhile, particularly when choosing between regular, StatTrak and Souvenir listings. Exterior and float value describe condition, while the version is a separate listing detail that can affect the asking price. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match those attributes first instead of assuming that similarly named listings represent equivalent copies.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

SCAR-20 | Caged can be bought on the Steam Community Market by selecting an existing listing. Check whether the listing is regular, StatTrak or Souvenir, then confirm the exterior and inspect the specific copy where possible. Direct purchasing allows buyers to choose an offered variant rather than depending on the terminal's stated probability.

3. Trade with Other Players

SCAR-20 | Caged can also be obtained through a trade with another player who owns a copy. Before accepting an exchange, verify the skin name, exterior, float value and whether the item is a regular, StatTrak or Souvenir version. The available choice depends on the particular items the other player is offering.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The accessible price level and broad version selection make careful listing comparisons more useful than assuming every Caged copy has the same resale prospects. Ownership by daps and torzsi offers visibility, but it does not establish how quickly an item will sell or how demand will develop. Future supply remains uncertain, so a trading decision should focus on the specific copy and its asking price rather than an assumed scarcity trend.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible entry price for a patterned sniper rifle

• Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir choices

• Documented ownership by daps and torzsi

• Distinct blue, purple and cyan styling

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor: Caged offers an accessible entry price and documented professional ownership, but no established scarcity case. Its Mil-Spec Grade classification and terminal probability do not, by themselves, support a strong appreciation argument. The main risk is uncertain future demand, with no established supply trend to justify expecting higher resale prices.
