Short Description

The ★ Karambit | Scorched is a CS2 knife skin with a curved blade and a subdued, spray-painted pattern. Pale silver, gray and faint brown mottling give it a neutral look. It suits players who prefer restrained colors and a simple finish. All exterior tiers are available, alongside standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

The ★ Karambit | Scorched combines the Karambit's claw-like profile with a soft, mottled finish in CS2. Its pale blade face contrasts with dark edging that follows the curve. The circular finger ring and shaped grip give the knife distinctive details beyond the painted blade. A neutral palette makes this finish suitable for muted loadouts rather than bright color themes. The Karambit's origins connect to silat, a Southeast Asian martial discipline, with its blade modeled after a tiger's claw. Its typical reverse grip places the finger ring around the index finger. Buyers can choose standard or StatTrak versions without changing the underlying Scorched finish. When comparing individual copies, the exterior, exact float value and visible appearance deserve separate attention.

History and Origin

★ Karambit | Scorched debuted in CS:GO on August 14, 2013, with the CS:GO Weapon Case in the Arms Deal update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Other source cases include the eSports 2013 Case, Operation Bravo Case and CS:GO Weapon Case 2. The eSports 2013 Winter Case, Winter Offensive Weapon Case and CS:GO Weapon Case 3 also contain this knife. Further sources are the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, eSports 2014 Summer Case, Operation Vanguard Weapon Case and Revolver Case. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, none of these source cases receives new drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, while existing knives remain available through marketplace purchases and player trades.

Finish Style

Scorched uses a Spray-Paint finish with irregular patches that suggest sunlight filtering across the surface. In the inventory view, pale silver and light gray cover most of the blade's broad face. Cream and faint brown mottling break up that base without creating a sharply defined geometric pattern. A charcoal band follows the upper curve and continues around the blade's base, framing the lighter surface. The handle combines gray and muted tan, maintaining the blade's restrained color palette. Glossy black finger grooves provide contrast and make the grip details stand out. A dark triangular panel near the blade adds fine texture without overwhelming the simple design. The finger ring finishes the look with a gray outer rim and dark inner edge, repeating the knife's light-and-dark contrast.

Float Value

★ Karambit | Scorched has a float range of 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior tier excluded. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but there is no Souvenir version; these options are separate from an individual copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Karambit | Scorched has the Covert rarity grade. Its stated chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, which should not be treated as the odds for every source case. Although its source cases no longer drop, existing cases can still produce the knife through openings.

Why it’s Popular:

• Curved blade profile with a restrained, mottled finish

• Neutral colors suit subdued loadouts

• Distinctive finger ring and contrasting grip details

• Standard and StatTrak options across every exterior tier

Price Range

The live ★ Karambit | Scorched CS2 skin price range is $365.62 to $2,500.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Compare the exact float value, exterior and standard or StatTrak designation when reviewing listings. Before deciding to buy, check the individual knife's appearance and current asking price rather than relying only on the overall range.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open a compatible case, such as the CS:GO Weapon Case, Operation Bravo Case or Revolver Case, for a chance at this knife. Existing cases remain available to buy and open, but an opening does not guarantee Scorched or a chosen exterior.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing ★ Karambit | Scorched listing on the Steam Community Market instead of pursuing a case opening. Check its exterior and version, then inspect the specific copy before comparing it with other offers.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another route to obtain an existing copy in exchange for other items. Confirm the knife's exact float value, exterior and StatTrak status before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases limit fresh case supply, although remaining cases can still add knives through openings. Listings cover several exteriors and both standard and StatTrak versions, giving buyers different condition and version choices. Without an established demand trend or price history, short-term resale performance remains uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Source cases receive no new drops

• Original Valve finish from the Arms Deal release

• Standard and StatTrak versions provide distinct buying options

• Full exterior availability supports varied condition preferences

The investment rating is medium: retired source cases and the original Valve release offer reasons to hold, but do not establish future returns. Remaining cases can still produce knives, while uncertain demand creates a risk when trying to sell at a favorable price.
