About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition, which is linked to float value. The Lore ranges from 0.00 to 0.65 and comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred; inspect the individual copy before buying.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is a skin's assigned grade and is separate from exterior condition. The Lore is Covert, with a 0.0085% chance from the Gamma Case; that chance does not describe the Gamma 2 Case.

How much does the ★ Karambit | Lore cost?

Short Description

The ★ Karambit | Lore is a CS2 knife skin featuring gold-colored knotwork on a curved blade. Its dark olive handle contrasts with the dense decoration, while a gold-rimmed finger ring ties the design together. The finish suits players who prefer ornamental details and a warm color palette. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with regular and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

The ★ Karambit | Lore is a CS2 knife skin that applies a Custom Paint Job finish to the Karambit's curved silhouette. Its blade and finger ring frame a gold-dominant design with dark, interlocking decoration. An olive-green grip provides a subdued counterpoint to the brightly colored blade. The look suits gold-themed loadouts and players who favor intricate ornament over a plain finish. Pale edging and orange shading add visual variation without changing the blade's dominant yellow-and-gold palette. Professional players device, FalleN and malbsMd own this skin, although ownership alone does not establish broader market demand. Players can choose between regular and StatTrak versions across the available exterior range. Buyers should compare each copy's float, version, asking price and inspection image rather than treating the finish name as a complete description.

History and Origin

The Lore finish was released on June 15, 2016, alongside the Gamma Case. Valve created it and introduced it through the Gamma Case Skins update, rather than as a community-designed submission. The underlying Karambit design has roots in silat, a Southeast Asian martial discipline, with a curved blade shaped around a claw-like profile. Its typical reverse-grip configuration places the finger ring around the index finger. Today, the Gamma 2 Case also offers a case-opening route to this finish. Both cases stopped receiving new drops when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened, so their retirement does not prevent further knife outcomes. The skin itself can also be obtained directly through marketplace purchases or trades, separate from its original case-based release.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job combines a predominantly yellow-and-gold blade with a much darker olive-green handle. A pale cutting edge follows the blade's curve and stands apart from the warmer colors behind it. Deeper orange shading appears near the handle, adding another tone to the decorated metal. Dark outlines define a dense strip of interlocking knotwork loops along the blade. Above that strip, subtle decorative marks add detail without competing with the heavier knotwork. Textured grip panels, pronounced finger grooves and a ridged outer edge give the handle a structured appearance. The finger ring's gold rim repeats the blade palette, creating a bright accent at the rear of the knife. Dense blade ornament contrasts with the comparatively plain grip, giving the overall finish a decorative but balanced character.

Float Value

The ★ Karambit | Lore has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.65. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Regular and StatTrak versions exist; version availability is separate from an individual copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The Lore belongs to the Covert rarity grade, which is separate from its exterior and float value. Its drop chance from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%, and that figure should not be applied to the Gamma 2 Case. Although neither source case receives new drops, existing cases can still be opened and the knife remains obtainable through marketplaces and trades.

Why it’s Popular:

• Gold blade colors suit warm-toned loadouts

• Dense knotwork gives the curved blade a distinctive identity

• Olive-green grip balances the bright decoration

• Regular and StatTrak options accommodate different preferences

Price Range

The live ★ Karambit | Lore price range is $462.89 to $2,193.92. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than representing fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Float value offers a more precise condition reference than the exterior label alone, so compare the listed number with the inspection image. Keep regular and StatTrak listings separate when comparing CS2 skin prices, rather than treating every copy as interchangeable. Check each listing's asking price against its condition and version before deciding whether to buy, sell or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

The ★ Karambit | Lore can be obtained by opening a Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case. Neither case receives new drops, although existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Opening either case is a chance-based route, not a way to select this exact knife.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route for the Lore. Compare the exterior, float value and regular or StatTrak version before selecting a copy. Buying a listed skin avoids relying on a case opening to produce the desired finish.

4. Trade with Other Players

The knife can also be obtained through player-to-player trades instead of a case opening or direct marketplace purchase. Check the exact exterior, float and version of the offered item before agreeing to an exchange. Compare it with listings for matching variants rather than valuing every Lore knife alike.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Neither source case receives new drops, but opening existing stock can still add Lore knives to circulation. Professional ownership provides evidence of use, not proof of resale demand or a continuing price trend. For a practical comparison, group listings by exterior and regular or StatTrak version, then inspect the float and appearance of each candidate.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Professional ownership includes device, FalleN and malbsMd

• Distinctive gold knotwork on a Valve-created finish

• Regular and StatTrak versions offer collecting choices

The ★ Karambit | Lore receives a medium-to-good investment rating, supported by retired source cases, professional ownership and its premium price level. This is an editorial assessment, not a prediction of returns. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, while existing case stock can still produce additional copies.
