About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes exterior condition, which is tied to float value. This knife's 0.00 to 0.08 range allows Factory New and Minimal Wear; its phase is a separate finish choice.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is the skin's grade, distinct from its exterior condition. Gamma Doppler is Covert, with a 0.0085% chance from the Gamma Case.

How much does the ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler cost?

Short Description

The ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler is a CS2 knife skin with a curved blade and glossy, marbled metallic finish. The pictured version combines mint green, pale cyan and darker emerald accents against a charcoal handle. Its color-focused look suits green or cyan loadouts. Available options include Emerald and numbered phases, Factory New and Minimal Wear exteriors, plus StatTrak™ versions.

Description

The ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler is a CS2 knife skin that pairs the Karambit's claw-like blade with a colorful metallic finish. Its Anodized Multicolored treatment creates flowing marbling rather than a flat block of color. Mint green, pale cyan and darker emerald patches define the pictured version, with color concentrated on the blade and end ring. A mostly plain charcoal handle keeps the grip visually separate from those reflective surfaces. The finish family includes Emerald, Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3 and Phase 4. Its palette suits players who prefer glossy color patterns over illustrated artwork. Factory New and Minimal Wear copies offer condition choices within the skin's restricted float range. Buyers can compare the exact phase, exterior, float value and StatTrak status before choosing an individual knife.

History and Origin

The ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler was introduced on June 15, 2016. It arrived with the Gamma Case in the Gamma Case Skins update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The underlying knife design traces its origins to silat, a Southeast Asian martial discipline. The Karambit is typically held in a reverse grip, with its finger ring around the index finger. Beyond its original case, this finish can also be obtained from the Gamma 2 Case. Both cases stopped dropping when Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and remained retired as of October 9, 2026. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, while completed knives can be acquired through marketplace purchases and player trades.

Finish Style

Gamma Doppler uses an Anodized Multicolored finish with a glossy, metallic character. Its underlying paint treatment combines metallic black and silver through a marbling process. A candy-style coating completes the layered treatment and reflective appearance. In the pictured version, bright mint green and pale cyan cover much of the curved blade. Darker emerald patches sit along the upper edge and near the handle. Irregular streaks cross the blade, giving the color layout a flowing appearance. The charcoal grip has fine textured panels, deep finger grooves and a ridged outer edge. Green marbling also covers the end ring, while the largely uncolored handle provides contrast with the blade.

Float Value

The ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.08. Its available exteriors are Factory New and Minimal Wear, with no Field-Tested, Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred copies. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, and version choice is separate from exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler has Covert rarity. Its chance of appearing from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%, making a specific case-opening result highly unlikely. NiKo, ropz and sh1ro own the skin, providing documented professional ownership without establishing future buyer demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Glossy green and cyan marbling gives the blade a distinctive appearance

• The curved blade and matching ring create a coordinated look

• Emerald and numbered phases offer different finish choices

• StatTrak availability suits players who want kill tracking

Price Range

The live ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler CS2 skin price range is $1,453.49 to $4,345.94. These bounds cover the whole item, not a fixed phase, exterior or StatTrak combination. Phase, exterior and version are important distinctions between listings, so the overall range should not replace an individual comparison. Match the finish variant and exterior first, then check exact float value, StatTrak status and asking price. Inspecting the actual blade also helps buyers choose their preferred marbling without assuming every pattern carries a premium.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

This knife can be obtained by opening a Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case. Neither case receives new drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. The Gamma Case chance is 0.0085%, so opening it is not a reliable way to secure this particular skin.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct purchase route without relying on a case-opening result. Before buying, check the phase, exterior, float value and whether the knife is standard or StatTrak. Inspect the individual item rather than choosing solely from its finish name.

4. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the knife through player-to-player trades. Match the offered item's phase, exterior, float value and StatTrak status to the agreed exchange. Check its appearance before accepting, since the Gamma Doppler name covers several finish variants.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Both source cases are retired from drops, but opening remaining stock can still add copies of this knife to circulation. Buy, sell and trade comparisons should match phase, exterior, float value and StatTrak status rather than treating every Gamma Doppler copy alike. Professional ownership supports visibility, while future demand and resale speed remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases receive no new drops

• Owned by NiKo, ropz and sh1ro

• Distinctive marbling and reflective metallic finish

• Emerald and numbered phases offer collector choice

The ★ Karambit | Gamma Doppler receives a medium-to-good investment rating as an editorial assessment, not a return forecast. Retired case supply and professional ownership support that view, although remaining cases can still produce additional knives. Its high purchase cost and uncertain future demand are the main risks, especially when selecting an expensive individual variant.
