Karambit | Boreal Forest

★ Karambit | Boreal Forest is a CS2 knife skin with forest camouflage across its curved blade and finger ring. Olive, green, and brown-gray patches contrast with the mostly dark green handle. Its earthy palette suits players building a muted, camouflage-focused loadout. Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors are available, including StatTrak™ versions, but there is no Souvenir edition.

Description

★ Karambit | Boreal Forest brings a Hydrographic camouflage finish to the Karambit knife in CS2. The weapon's curved, claw-like blade comes from a design associated with the Southeast Asian martial discipline of silat. It is typically held in a reverse grip, with the finger ring around the index finger. The forest palette suits players who prefer subdued equipment colors rather than a bright centerpiece. Camouflage covers the blade and ring, while larger dark green areas give the handle a quieter appearance. A narrow metallic edge remains visually distinct from the patterned blade surface. Standard copies offer the finish without a counter, while StatTrak™ versions add a separate option for buyers seeking kill tracking. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float, version, and listing images to choose a copy that matches their preferred condition.

History and Origin

★ Karambit | Boreal Forest debuted on August 14, 2013, with the CS:GO Weapon Case in the Arms Deal update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Its original CS:GO release is separate from its present availability as a CS2 knife skin. Other sources include the eSports 2013 Case, Operation Bravo Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2, and eSports 2013 Winter Case. The Winter Offensive Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 3, and Operation Phoenix Weapon Case also contain it. Further sources are the eSports 2014 Summer Case, Operation Vanguard Weapon Case, and Revolver Case. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, none of these source cases receive new drops, although existing cases can still be bought and opened. Today, buyers can also obtain the finished knife through marketplace purchases or player trades rather than opening a case.

Finish Style

Boreal Forest uses a Hydrographic finish centered on woodland camouflage rather than a uniform painted surface. Irregular olive, pale green, dark green, and brown-gray patches cover the curved blade. Their uneven shapes give the blade a broken-up pattern instead of orderly stripes or geometric blocks. A thin, bright metal edge follows the inner curve and continues toward the tip. The handle is mainly dark green, providing a more solid backdrop beside the patterned blade. Three rounded finger grooves shape the grip's outline. Muted gray-green textured inset panels interrupt the handle's larger areas of color. The ring at the base carries camouflage patches around its outer surface, extending the pattern beyond the blade. Together, the patterned blade and ring contrast with the handle's mostly solid sections, giving the knife a restrained, earthy appearance.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of these wear tiers is excluded. Standard and StatTrak™ versions are available, but no Souvenir version exists; version availability is separate from exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Karambit | Boreal Forest has the Covert rarity grade. Its chance of appearing from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, a figure specific to that case rather than every acquisition route. Professional player jabbi owns this finish, while buyers can choose between standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Why it’s Popular:

• Earthy camouflage suits muted green and woodland-themed loadouts

• Curved blade and patterned ring give the finish a distinct silhouette

• Bright metal edge contrasts with the subdued camouflage

• Standard and StatTrak™ options accommodate different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest price range is $335.00 to $3,510.83. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Compare exterior and exact float together, since a wear label alone does not identify the condition of an individual copy. Check standard and StatTrak™ listings separately, then inspect the blade, ring, and handle images before using a CS2 skin price comparison to choose an offer.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open an existing CS:GO Weapon Case or another compatible source case for a chance at this knife. The chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, so opening it is not a direct purchase of the finish. Its source cases no longer drop, but remaining cases can still be bought and opened.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy the finished knife on the Steam Community Market instead of relying on a case opening. Compare the listed exterior and whether the item is standard or StatTrak™. Check the individual item's condition before choosing a listing, rather than treating every copy of the finish as interchangeable.

4. Trade with Other Players

Obtain the knife by trading with another player who owns a copy. Confirm the exact finish, exterior, float, and StatTrak™ status before agreeing to the exchange. Inspect the offered item to make sure its appearance matches the condition being discussed.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired source cases limit replenishment of unopened supply, but existing cases can still produce additional knives when opened. Jabbi's ownership provides a professional connection, not proof of consistent buyer demand or a predictable resale timeline. Before a buy, sell, or trade decision, compare exterior, exact float, and StatTrak™ status rather than assuming every Boreal Forest copy has the same market appeal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Source cases no longer receive new drops

• Valve-created finish with an established release history

• Standard and StatTrak™ versions offer distinct collecting options

• Professional ownership includes jabbi

The editorial investment rating for ★ Karambit | Boreal Forest is medium. Retired source cases support a limited unopened supply, while its release history and professional ownership provide collecting context without establishing future price growth. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, especially when remaining cases can still introduce additional copies.
