Karambit | Safari Mesh

★ Karambit | Safari Mesh is a CS2 knife skin with a curved blade and subdued, stenciled camouflage. Olive green, khaki, and gray-green patches cover the blade and handle, with a faint mesh texture underneath. It suits earthy loadouts and offers every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with regular and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Karambit | Safari Mesh pairs a claw-shaped knife with muted Spray-Paint camouflage in CS2. The finish covers both blade and handle, keeping the earthy palette consistent across the weapon. Irregular patches and mesh-like stenciling give the surface its layered appearance. The Karambit has roots in silat, a Southeast Asian martial discipline. It is typically used in a reverse grip, with the index finger through the ring. The understated design suits players seeking a knife without lettering or bold artwork. Buyers can choose regular or StatTrak copies across the available exterior tiers. Comparing exact float values helps distinguish individual listings beyond the Safari Mesh name.

History and Origin

Valve released ★ Karambit | Safari Mesh in CS:GO on August 14, 2013. It arrived through the CS:GO Weapon Case as part of the Arms Deal update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Other sources include the eSports 2013 Case, Operation Bravo Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2, and eSports 2013 Winter Case. It also appears in the Winter Offensive Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 3, Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, and eSports 2014 Summer Case. The Operation Vanguard Weapon Case and Revolver Case complete its case sources. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops for these cases. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, keeping that acquisition route available despite the retirement. Today, existing knife copies can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market or obtained through player-to-player trades.

Finish Style

Safari Mesh is a Spray-Paint finish built around stencil effects and overlapping patches. Mesh fencing and cardboard cutouts provide the shapes and texture used in its camouflage. Muted olive green, khaki, and gray-green extend across the blade and handle. Broad, irregular shapes overlap a faint mesh-like pattern on both parts. Crosshatching becomes denser near the blade base, above the finger grooves. Pale metallic lines trace the cutting edge and sections of the spine. The finger ring's dark inner rim adds definition around the opening. The result is subdued and textured, with no visible lettering or bold artwork.

Float Value

The float value of ★ Karambit | Safari Mesh ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no standard exterior tier is missing. Regular and StatTrak versions are available; these version choices are separate from the cosmetic condition represented by the exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Karambit | Safari Mesh has the Covert rarity grade. Its drop chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, a figure specific to that acquisition route. Professional player rain owns the skin, providing a documented ownership example without establishing broader market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted camouflage suits olive, khaki, and gray-green loadouts

• Mesh stenciling adds texture without bold artwork

• Curved blade and finger ring create a distinctive silhouette

• Regular and StatTrak versions provide different ownership options

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for ★ Karambit | Safari Mesh is $332.48 to $904.63. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Compare the exterior and exact float value to assess condition, then check whether each listing is regular or StatTrak. When planning to buy, sell, or trade, use individual listing details rather than treating the overall range as every copy's value.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Its source cases no longer receive new drops, although unopened cases can still add knives to circulation. Ownership by rain is a documented point of interest, not proof of sustained resale demand. Compare exterior, float, and regular or StatTrak versions when preparing to buy, sell, or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired source cases are no longer replenished

• Valve-created finish dating to the Arms Deal update

• Documented ownership by professional player rain

• Regular and StatTrak versions offer distinct collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-good, supported by retired case supply, Valve-created origins, and documented professional ownership. Remaining cases can still produce additional copies, while future buyer demand and resale prices remain uncertain.
