About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality determines the skin's exterior wear category based on its float value. Bright Water spans 0.00 to 0.50 and comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred; inspect the individual knife rather than relying only on its exterior label.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's item grade and helps describe its case availability. Bright Water is Covert, with a 0.0085% chance of appearing from the Gamma Case.

How much does the ★ Karambit | Bright Water cost?

The ★ Karambit | Bright Water ranges from $399.06 to $936.57. Compare each listing's exterior, float, and version.

Which case contains the ★ Karambit | Bright Water?

Short Description

The ★ Karambit | Bright Water is a CS2 knife skin with blue camouflage across its curved blade and finger ring. Navy, medium blue, and pale blue patches contrast with a mostly charcoal handle. The look suits players who prefer cool colors and a patterned blade without an entirely patterned grip. It comes in all listed exteriors, with standard and StatTrak™ versions available.

Description

The ★ Karambit | Bright Water brings a Hydrographic camouflage finish to the Karambit's curved knife shape. Its claw-like blade gives the blue pattern a compact, sweeping outline. A bright metallic edge follows the inner curve, separating the cutting edge visually from the camouflage. The finger ring repeats the blade's pattern, while the mostly charcoal handle keeps the grip visually restrained. This layout suits blue-themed loadouts and players who prefer contrast between patterned and plain surfaces. Standard and StatTrak copies provide a choice of versions without changing the underlying finish design. Buyers can choose among Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred exteriors. Individual listings are worth comparing for float value, exterior, and visible appearance before buying or trading.

History and Origin

The ★ Karambit | Bright Water debuted on June 15, 2016, alongside the Gamma Case. Its release arrived through the Gamma Case Skins update. Valve created the design, rather than a community designer. The Gamma 2 Case also contains the knife, providing another case-opening route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. As of October 9, 2026, neither associated case receives new drops, although existing cases can still be opened. Both cases remain available to buy on the market, separating present-day access from their discontinued drop status. The knife itself can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through player trades.

Finish Style

Bright Water uses a Hydrographic finish built around irregular blue camouflage. The blade mixes navy, medium blue, and pale blue patches rather than a single solid color. A slim, bright metallic edge traces the inside of the blade's curve. Most of the handle stays dark charcoal, creating a quieter area between the patterned sections. Deep finger grooves shape the grip, with blue panels visible along its side. A small triangular blue panel near the blade adds a finely lined texture. The finger ring carries camouflage as well, visually linking it to the blade. Together, the patterned blade and ring frame a mostly plain handle, giving the knife a cool-toned, segmented appearance.

Float Value

The ★ Karambit | Bright Water has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.50. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of these wear categories is excluded. Standard and StatTrak versions exist, but there is no Souvenir version; version availability is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The ★ Karambit | Bright Water has the Covert rarity grade. Its chance of appearing from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%, making that opening route an uncertain way to acquire a specific copy. Rarity does not restrict the knife to a single condition, with all listed exteriors and StatTrak versions available.

Why it’s Popular:

• Blue camouflage pairs naturally with cool-colored loadouts

• Patterned blade and ring contrast with the charcoal grip

• Curved blade outlined by a bright metallic edge

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live ★ Karambit | Bright Water price range is $399.06 to $936.57. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. The exterior gives a wear category, while the exact float provides a more precise condition reference. Compare standard and StatTrak listings separately, then inspect the pictured knife alongside its condition details. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the version and exterior before judging differences between offers.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Opening a Gamma Case or Gamma 2 Case can produce this knife, but the result is not guaranteed. Neither case receives new drops, although existing cases can still be bought and opened. The chance of this specific skin from the Gamma Case is 0.0085%.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The ★ Karambit | Bright Water can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Compare the available exterior, exact float, and standard or StatTrak version before selecting a listing.

4. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to acquire the knife or exchange an existing copy. Check the offered item's full name, exterior, float, and version before agreeing to buy, sell, or trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Both source cases are retired from drops, limiting fresh case supply while leaving existing cases available to open. Demand and future resale prices remain uncertain, making this a substantial purchase rather than a predictable short-term flip. Compare standard and StatTrak copies by exterior and float, whether the goal is to buy, sell, or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Discontinued drops for both source cases

• Covert rarity with a low Gamma Case chance

• Distinctive blue camouflage across the blade and ring

• Standard and StatTrak ownership options

The investment outlook is medium-to-good, supported by discontinued case drops and the knife's low Gamma Case acquisition chance. However, existing case openings can still add copies, and uncertain future demand is the main resale risk. Its substantial purchase price warrants careful listing comparisons rather than expectations of returns.
