About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes cosmetic condition through exterior and float value. Urban Masked spans 0.06 to 0.80 and is available from Factory New through Battle-Scarred. Inspect the specific knife's appearance rather than relying only on its exterior label.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is the item's grade, separate from cosmetic condition. Urban Masked is Covert, with a 0.0039% opening chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case. That figure applies to this skin in that case, not every Covert item.

How much does ★ Karambit | Urban Masked cost?

★ Karambit | Urban Masked ranges from $357.94 to $2,139.07. The bounds cover the whole skin; compare each listing's exterior, float and version.

Which exteriors are available for ★ Karambit | Urban Masked?

★ Karambit | Urban Masked comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.06 to 0.80.

Can ★ Karambit | Urban Masked still be obtained from a case?

Yes, existing cases containing ★ Karambit | Urban Masked can still be opened, including the CS:GO Weapon Case and Revolver Case. Its case sources no longer drop, but existing cases remain available to buy.

Does ★ Karambit | Urban Masked have a StatTrak version?

Yes, ★ Karambit | Urban Masked is available in standard and StatTrak versions. No Souvenir version exists, so compare the supported version separately from exterior and float.

Short Description

★ Karambit | Urban Masked is a CS2 knife skin with a curved blade and a subdued gray Spray-Paint finish. Overlapping angular patches give the blade and handle a masking-tape stencil pattern. Its neutral palette suits players who prefer patterned equipment without bright colors. All exterior grades are available, alongside standard and StatTrak™ versions.

Description

★ Karambit | Urban Masked brings a pale, layered camouflage-like finish to the Karambit knife in CS2. Its hooked blade provides a distinctive outline, while the gray pattern keeps the color scheme restrained. The design extends across the blade and handle rather than relying on an isolated decorative accent. A finger ring at the handle's end complements the reverse grip described for the weapon, with the index finger passing through it. Dark finger grooves and a ridged panel add visible texture around the grip. This finish suits a neutral loadout, especially when the buyer wants angular patterning rather than vivid color. Standard and StatTrak versions offer separate choices within the available exterior range. Buyers can compare float value, exterior, version and listing images to choose the specific appearance they prefer.

History and Origin

★ Karambit | Urban Masked debuted in CS:GO on August 14, 2013, through the CS:GO Weapon Case and the Arms Deal update. Valve created the finish, so its origin is not a community designer's submission. The Karambit's claw-shaped blade draws on a weapon associated with silat, a Southeast Asian martial discipline. Other sources include the eSports 2013 Case, Operation Bravo Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 2 and eSports 2013 Winter Case. It also appears in the Winter Offensive Weapon Case, CS:GO Weapon Case 3, Operation Phoenix Weapon Case and eSports 2014 Summer Case. The Operation Vanguard Weapon Case and Revolver Case complete its case sources. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new drops for these cases. As of October 9, 2026, none of the cases containing this finish still drops. Existing cases remain available to buy and open, while finished knives can be purchased or traded for use in CS2.

Finish Style

Urban Masked uses the Spray-Paint finish style, with tangled masking tape serving as the stencil for its layered pattern. The curved blade has a pale silver-gray base broken up by light gray, darker gray and off-white patches. Angular bands cross irregular shapes, giving the broad blade face an uneven, interrupted surface design. Its cutting edge appears brighter than the surrounding face, making the blade's hooked outline easy to distinguish. The pattern continues onto the handle, connecting the grip visually with the blade rather than treating them as separate color blocks. Dark gray finger grooves contrast with the paler areas around them. A finely ridged triangular panel sits near the blade, while a gray ring finishes the opposite end of the handle. The result is subdued in color but patterned across most of the knife, making individual listing images useful when comparing its presentation.

Float Value

The float value range for ★ Karambit | Urban Masked is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with none of these exterior grades excluded. Standard and StatTrak versions are available, but no Souvenir version exists; version availability is separate from the knife's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

★ Karambit | Urban Masked has the Covert rarity grade, which is separate from its exterior and float value. Its stated opening chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, and that figure should not be applied to its other case sources. Although those cases no longer drop, existing cases can still produce the knife when opened, and finished copies remain obtainable through marketplaces and trades.

Why it’s Popular:

• Subdued gray colors suit neutral loadouts

• Angular stencil shapes cover both blade and handle

• Curved blade and finger ring give it a distinctive outline

• Standard and StatTrak versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live ★ Karambit | Urban Masked price range is $357.94 to $2,139.07. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or StatTrak version. Exterior, exact float and version are useful comparison points when evaluating an individual CS2 skin price. Listing images also help buyers judge the visible finish rather than treating every knife within an exterior category as identical. When deciding where to buy, sell or trade, compare matching versions and conditions instead of relying on the overall range alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Weapon Case

Open any of the cases listed in the history section for a chance at this knife, including the CS:GO Weapon Case. Existing cases can still be bought and opened despite their retired drop status. The stated chance from the CS:GO Weapon Case is 0.0039%, so opening it does not secure the finish.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy ★ Karambit | Urban Masked directly through the Steam Community Market by choosing a listing for the desired exterior and version. This route selects an existing knife instead of relying on a case opening. Check the item details and visible condition before choosing a standard or StatTrak copy.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player for an existing ★ Karambit | Urban Masked rather than attempting to open one from a case. Compare the offered knife's exterior, float and StatTrak status with the item being sought. Inspect the specific knife and confirm those details before accepting the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit replenishment of its case sources, but opening existing stock can still add finished knives to circulation. The available market evidence does not establish sustained demand or a reliable price trend, so retirement alone is not a strong short-term trading signal. For practical comparisons, match exterior and StatTrak status, then assess float and appearance before choosing a knife to buy or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Case sources no longer receive new drops

• Valve-created finish with an August 14, 2013 release

• Distinctive curved blade with neutral stencil styling

• Standard and StatTrak options broaden buyer choice

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired case sources and a distinctive Valve-created design against uncertain demand. Existing cases can still generate more knives, so the end of case drops does not mean finished-skin supply is fixed. The main risk is assuming a supply constraint will produce price growth without evidence of sustained buying interest.
