AWP | Safari Mesh

AWP | Safari Mesh is a CS2 sniper rifle skin with a subdued camouflage finish. Olive green, sandy khaki, and fine mesh detailing give the weapon an understated look. It suits players who prefer muted colors over visible lettering or illustrated artwork. Regular and Souvenir versions are available across its exterior range, but there is no StatTrak™ version.

Description

AWP | Safari Mesh brings a stencil-based camouflage design to the AWP sniper rifle in CS2. Its Spray-Paint finish combines earthy colors with a fine mesh texture rather than a detailed illustration. The painted receiver, stock, and grip establish the main color scheme across the weapon. Matching colors on the scope extend that design beyond the rifle's body. Mostly dark gray barrel components provide a neutral contrast to the olive and khaki areas. The result suits players building a restrained loadout around camouflage and muted tones. Buyers can choose between regular copies and Souvenir versions associated with named tournament packages. Comparing the version, exterior, and individual float helps narrow the choice beyond the finish's overall appearance.

History and Origin

AWP | Safari Mesh was released on November 27, 2013. It arrived with The Lake Collection in the DreamHack 2013 update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Its collection membership is separate from the Souvenir packages that also offer the skin. The DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package is a source for its Souvenir version. The EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package provides another package route. Today, an existing copy can be purchased on the Steam Community Market or acquired through a player-to-player trade. Trade Up Contracts offer a separate acquisition method, with Safari Mesh among the possible Industrial Grade results from The Lake Collection.

Finish Style

Safari Mesh uses a Spray-Paint finish built around mesh fencing and cut cardboard stencils. Muted olive green and sandy khaki cover the receiver, stock, and grip. A fine diamond-shaped pattern supplies much of the surface detail across the painted body. Irregular darker patches interrupt the repeating mesh and break up the color. The scope continues the olive-and-tan palette, with a dark opening at its front. The long barrel, muzzle, and folded bipod are mostly dark gray against the painted sections. A gray magazine adds another neutral element beneath the muted body. No visible lettering or artwork competes with the mesh, leaving the camouflage texture as the main visual feature.

Float Value

AWP | Safari Mesh has a float range of 0.06 to 0.80. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Regular and Souvenir versions are supported; version choice is separate from the item's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

AWP | Safari Mesh has the Industrial Grade rarity classification. It belongs to The Lake Collection and is available as both a regular item and a Souvenir version. Documented professional owners include flusha, Snax, and s1mple, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted olive and khaki suit camouflage-focused loadouts

• Fine mesh detailing gives the finish a distinct texture

• Regular copies offer an inexpensive AWP option

• Souvenir versions add a tournament-linked collecting option

Price Range

The live AWP | Safari Mesh price range is $0.08 to $15,000.00. Regular worn copies occupy an inexpensive market segment, while Factory New and Souvenir listings can carry higher asking prices. Match the exterior before comparing individual float values within that condition. Check whether each listing is regular or Souvenir, since that distinction matters when comparing the CS2 skin price. For a buy, sell, or trade decision, use comparable current listings rather than assigning either overall price bound to a particular variant.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package or an EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package for a chance to obtain the Souvenir version. These are package routes, not a direct purchase of the skin. Buyers seeking a particular exterior and float can compare existing Souvenir listings instead.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Lake Collection for 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. Safari Mesh is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy AWP | Safari Mesh through an existing Steam Community Market listing when the desired copy is available. Check its exterior and whether it is a regular or Souvenir version before comparing asking prices.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide a way to acquire an existing Safari Mesh copy by exchanging items with another player. Confirm the exact skin, exterior, float value, and regular or Souvenir status before agreeing to the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Regular and Souvenir copies occupy different price segments, so comparisons should start with matching version, exterior, and float. Supply totals and transaction history are not established, leaving uncertainty around resale demand and price direction. An asking price is a comparison point, not evidence that another copy will sell for the same amount.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Documented ownership by flusha, Snax, and s1mple

• Souvenir versions from named tournament packages

• Valve-created finish with a documented release history

• Distinctive mesh texture and subdued camouflage palette

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, reflecting inexpensive regular copies and limited evidence of sustained trading demand. Souvenir availability and professional ownership provide collecting context, but neither establishes future price growth. The main risk is paying a premium for a selected variant without evidence that comparable copies attract buyers at that level.
