AWP | Worm God

AWP | Worm God is a CS2 sniper rifle skin featuring a skull and twisting roots against a pale gray and ivory body. Green accents and dark hardware give the artwork a muted, unsettling character. The finish suits players who prefer detailed organic imagery over bright, all-over color. It comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

AWP | Worm God brings skull-and-root artwork to the AWP, combining a pale body with mostly dark functional parts. The large skull on the rear stock provides a clear focal point rather than a repeating motif across every surface. Twisting lines extend the design along the body, connecting the stock artwork with the rest of the decorated rifle. Olive-green and yellow-green accents add color while preserving the restrained gray and ivory palette. This combination suits players building a muted loadout or looking for a rifle with an organic, macabre theme. Its available exteriors give buyers several cosmetic conditions to consider, without a Battle-Scarred option. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide separate choices for players and collectors beyond the exterior label. Before choosing a copy, buyers can compare its float value, visible condition and version against the appearance they want.

History and Origin

AWP | Worm God was released on April 15, 2015, alongside the Chroma 2 Case. Its debut came through the Chroma 2 Case Skins update, establishing the case as its original acquisition route. Steam Workshop community designer enzYm created the finish, giving its skull-and-root artwork a documented community origin. The skin belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which also determines the relevant collection inputs for trade-up contracts. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Chroma 2 Case no longer drops. Existing cases remain purchasable and openable, so the original case route survives despite the end of new case drops. Trade-up contracts using Mil-Spec Grade inputs from its collection offer a separate, random route to this Restricted finish. Buyers can also obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or a player trade without opening a case.

Finish Style

Worm God uses the Patina finish style, with its skull-and-root design rendered in durable enamel paint. Pale gray and ivory cover the rifle's body, creating a light backdrop for the darker artwork. A large skull occupies the rear stock and anchors the composition at the back of the weapon. Dark, twisting root-like lines surround it and spread across the body, giving the design an irregular organic structure. Olive-green and yellow-green accents appear along the stock and grip, breaking up the otherwise pale surface. Fine speckling and shaded patches make those light areas look mottled rather than uniformly colored. The barrel, scope, magazine and bipod remain mostly dark gray or black, with lighter metallic edges visible in places. Concentrating the artwork on the body and stock leaves the long barrel and scope relatively plain, emphasizing the decorated surfaces.

Float Value

The float value range for AWP | Worm God is 0.00 to 0.45. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. StatTrak and Souvenir versions both exist, but the version should be checked separately from the copy's exterior and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

AWP | Worm God has the Restricted rarity grade, which is separate from its exterior and float value. Opening the Chroma 2 Case gives a 4.0% chance of receiving this skin, so a case opening does not ensure this particular result. Professional players tarik, shox and NEO own the finish, providing documented ownership without establishing a broader demand trend.

Why it’s Popular:

• Distinctive skull artwork surrounded by twisting roots

• Muted ivory, gray and green color palette

• Detailed body artwork paired with restrained dark hardware

• StatTrak and Souvenir options alongside standard copies

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for AWP | Worm God is $1.84 to $39.00. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than fixing a low or high price to any named exterior or version. Compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings separately to avoid treating different versions as interchangeable purchases. Within an exterior, check the exact float and inspect the artwork instead of relying on the condition label alone. Matching the desired version and exterior first makes it easier to weigh each listing's price against the appearance of that individual copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 2 Case

Opening a Chroma 2 Case gives a 4.0% chance of receiving AWP | Worm God. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened, making this a chance-based route rather than a direct purchase.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Chroma 2 Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Worm God is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Restricted skins rather than a selectable reward.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

An existing copy can be bought on the Steam Community Market without relying on a case opening or trade-up result. Compare the listed exterior, float and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir version before choosing the item.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another way to obtain an existing Worm God copy by exchanging items with another owner. Check the offered skin's version, exterior and float value, then compare it with relevant listings before agreeing to the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Chroma 2 cases receive no new drops, but openings of existing cases and collection trade-ups can still introduce additional Worm God copies. Available listings span standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions, so comparisons should match the relevant version and exterior before a buy, sell or trade decision. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not establish sustained demand, and the price trend remains uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Chroma 2 Case drops

• Recognizable skull and root artwork

• Ownership by tarik, shox and NEO

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply, professional ownership and an accessible price level. Existing case openings and trade-ups can still add copies, so case retirement does not make the skin's supply fixed. The main risk is uncertain demand, with insufficient evidence to treat future appreciation as an expected outcome.
