AWP | Hyper Beast was released on May 26, 2015, in the Operation Bloodhound update. It arrived with the Falchion Case, which remains its case-opening route. The finish was created by frontaLOBE, a Steam Workshop community designer. Its collection membership is The Falchion Collection. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, so the Falchion Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping that acquisition route available. Finished copies can also be purchased on the Steam Community Market without opening a case. Player trades and collection-based trade-up contracts provide other current routes, although a contract does not select this skin directly.

Finish Style

The Hyper Beast finish uses a Custom Paint Job to create a dense, psychedelic illustration on the rifle's rear body.
