AWP | Gungnir

AWP | Gungnir is a Covert CS2 sniper rifle skin with pearlescent blue and ivory decoration. A spear motif and dense ornamental linework give the AWP a distinctly Norse-inspired appearance. The finish suits players who prefer elaborate artwork, with all exterior grades and Souvenir versions available.

Description

AWP | Gungnir brings detailed Norse imagery to the AWP sniper rifle in CS2. Its Gunsmith finish combines a deep blue body with ivory sections, creating contrast across the weapon's long profile. The central spear design references Odin and gives the ornamentation a clear focal point. Fine interlaced lines and curling shapes extend beyond the receiver to the stock, barrel and scope. This makes the finish particularly suited to players who want artwork across most of the rifle rather than an understated color scheme. Professional players device, donk and jL are among its owners. Buyers can choose between standard and Souvenir copies, but there is no StatTrak™ version. When comparing listings, the exterior, exact float value and version help distinguish copies that share the same underlying design.

History and Origin

AWP | Gungnir was released on November 18, 2019. It arrived with the Operation Shattered Web update and belongs to The Norse Collection. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. Its visual concept centers on Odin's spear, which appears lengthwise across the rifle. The accompanying flavor text reinforces that theme by presenting the weapon as intended for the Allfather. Those mythological references connect the finish's imagery with its collection identity. Today, buyers can obtain existing copies through Steam Community Market listings or trades with other players. Trade Up Contracts also provide a collection-based acquisition route, separate from buying a specific finished copy.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish uses deep pearlescent blue across the body and thumbhole stock. Fine interlaced lines sit over that blue base, mixed with curling ornamental motifs. Ivory sections frame the receiver's upper edge and the rear of the stock, carrying darker decorative linework. The long barrel and scope are mostly ivory, with sweeping feather-like shapes, spirals and bands breaking up those lighter surfaces. A spear motif follows the blue body lengthwise, anchoring the design amid the surrounding patterns. Matching ivory decoration appears on the folded bipod beneath the barrel, extending the palette to a smaller weapon component. The dark muzzle and scope lens contrast with the decorated surfaces around them. Dense pattern coverage gives the rifle an elaborate visual character, so listing images are useful for examining the details of an individual copy.

Float Value

AWP | Gungnir has a float range of 0.00 to 0.60, covering Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. No exterior grade is missing from its available range, and the exact float identifies condition more precisely than the exterior label alone. Souvenir versions are available; version availability is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

AWP | Gungnir is a Covert skin from The Norse Collection. Its stated acquisition chance from that collection is 0.026%, which supports its exceptionally low-probability status without establishing current market supply. Ownership by device, donk and jL adds a professional-player connection, but does not establish how quickly a listed copy will sell.

Why it’s Popular:

• Pearlescent blue and ivory create a distinctive color combination

• Odin's spear gives the ornamental artwork a clear theme

• Detailed decoration extends across the body, barrel, scope and bipod

• Available in every exterior grade, including Souvenir versions

Price Range

The live AWP | Gungnir price range is $5,483.28 to $13,825.95, covering the skin as a whole. It sits at a high price level, making careful comparison important before committing to a copy. Exterior, exact float and standard or Souvenir status are relevant listing differences, but neither range endpoint belongs permanently to a particular variant. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match those attributes and inspect the item images rather than choosing solely by the exterior name.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Classified skins from The Norse Collection to produce 1 Covert skin from the same collection. AWP | Gungnir may be the result, but the outcome is random among that collection's Covert skins. This route does not guarantee the desired rifle, so the input commitment should be considered separately from a direct purchase.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

AWP | Gungnir can be bought through the Steam Community Market when a suitable listing is available. Compare the listed exterior and version before selecting a copy, especially when searching for a Souvenir rather than a standard skin. A direct listing allows a buyer to choose an existing item instead of relying on a randomized contract result.

4. Trade with Other Players

AWP | Gungnir can also be obtained by trading with other players. Check the exact item, exterior, float value and Souvenir status before agreeing on what to exchange. The trade should be assessed against comparable listings rather than treating every Gungnir copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The market includes standard and Souvenir listings, giving traders several distinct variants to compare rather than a single uniform item. Current supply and resale demand are not quantified, so professional ownership should not be treated as proof of quick sales. Its high price level makes the choice of exterior, float and version consequential when planning to buy, sell or trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Covert rarity within The Norse Collection

• Low stated collection acquisition chance

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive Valve-created artwork with a coherent Norse theme

AWP | Gungnir receives a medium investment rating, balancing its Covert rarity, low collection acquisition chance and professional ownership against its high entry cost. The main risk is committing substantial funds without verified resale demand or price-history evidence, so appreciation and a fast exit should not be assumed.
