AWP | BOOM

AWP | BOOM is a Classified CS2 sniper rifle skin with bright orange comic-book artwork and dark attachments. Black outlines, burst shapes and oversized lettering give the body an illustrated look. It suits players who prefer colorful weapon art with plenty of detail. Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

AWP | BOOM brings an orange, comic-inspired finish to the AWP sniper rifle in CS2. Its Hydrographic finish places printed artwork over an orange base, making the illustrated body the main visual feature. The dark barrel, scope and other attachments frame that artwork without extending the busy pattern across every component. Large lettering gives the design a clear focal point, while smaller marks add detail around it. Jagged outlines and dotted shading create a layered appearance rather than a simple block of color. This style suits an orange-themed loadout or a player who wants illustrated artwork on a sniper rifle. Buyers can choose among standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions according to their preferred item type. When comparing listings, the exterior, exact float value and item image help distinguish individual copies beyond the finish name.

History and Origin

AWP | BOOM was released on August 14, 2013, as part of the Arms Deal update. Its introduction came with the eSports 2013 Case, the container associated with its case-opening route. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The skin belongs to The eSports 2013 Collection, which also determines its collection-based trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the eSports 2013 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that acquisition option. Today, buyers can also obtain existing copies through marketplace purchases or player trades, while eligible collection trade-ups offer a random chance at the skin.

Finish Style

The BOOM finish uses a Hydrographic print over a bright orange base coat. Orange covers the body, stock and integrated grip, giving the rifle a consistent illustrated foundation across those surfaces. Large sound-effect lettering, including BOOM, appears within the artwork rather than as an isolated label. Black outlines and jagged burst shapes give the graphic elements a sharp, comic-book character. Fine dotted shading adds texture inside the orange areas without changing the overall color theme. Overlapping, panel-like lines introduce additional detail around the lettering and burst shapes. The long barrel, scope, bipod and magazine remain dark gray to black, with mostly plain surfaces. That division between patterned bodywork and dark attachments keeps the visual emphasis on the orange sections of the rifle.

Float Value

AWP | BOOM has a float value range of 0.06 to 0.28. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested, but not Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, with version type remaining separate from the cosmetic condition described by the exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

AWP | BOOM has Classified rarity, which is separate from its exterior condition or version. Its stated chance from the eSports 2013 Case is 1.6%, so opening a case does not guarantee this particular skin. Professional players s1mple, TACO and fer have owned it, providing documented ownership without establishing how quickly current listings will sell.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright orange artwork gives the AWP a distinctive visual identity

• Comic lettering, burst shapes and dotted shading reward close inspection

• Dark attachments contrast with the detailed body

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden the available choices

Price Range

The live AWP | BOOM price range is $79.54 to $1,399.98. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than a fixed exterior or version. Compare Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested listings by their exact float value and visible condition. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings should also be checked separately instead of assuming identical prices across versions. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the item type and exterior before deciding which listing to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the eSports 2013 Case

Open the eSports 2013 Case for a chance to obtain AWP | BOOM, with a stated chance of 1.6%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Restricted skins from The eSports 2013 Collection for 1 Classified skin from that collection. AWP | BOOM is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing AWP | BOOM through the Steam Community Market by choosing an individual listing. Check the exterior, version and available item details carefully, since a direct purchase lets the buyer select a specific listed copy.

5. Trade with Other Players

AWP | BOOM can also be obtained through a trade with another player who owns a copy. Before agreeing to an exchange, confirm the exact item, exterior, float value and whether it is standard, StatTrak or Souvenir.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired eSports 2013 Case receives no new drop supply, although existing case openings and eligible trade-ups can still produce this skin. Ownership by professional players is documented, but it does not establish current buyer demand or resale speed. To buy, sell or trade, compare matching exteriors and versions rather than treating every BOOM listing as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case limits replenishment of its case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Valve-created finish from The eSports 2013 Collection

• Distinctive orange comic-book artwork

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for collectors

AWP | BOOM receives a medium-to-good investment rating based on retired case supply, documented professional ownership and its distinctive finish. This is an editorial judgment, not evidence of an established price trend or assured resale demand. The main risk is that existing cases and trade-ups can add copies while buyer demand remains uncertain.
