Short Description

Negev | Ultralight is a CS2 heavy machinegun skin with gray digital camouflage and pale teal arrows. Its patterned receiver and box magazine contrast with mostly dark, plain outer components. The restrained palette suits gray loadouts and players who prefer subtle color accents. It comes in every exterior, with standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions available.

Description

Negev | Ultralight is a CS2 skin for the Negev, a heavy machinegun with a gray-and-teal finish. Its Custom Paint Job combines digital camouflage with directional arrow motifs rather than relying on a single solid color. The broad receiver and box magazine carry most of the visual detail, giving the weapon a patterned central body. Dark outer components separate that busier camouflage from the barrel, grip and stock frame. The look suits players building gray loadouts or seeking a restrained accent color rather than bright, full-body artwork. The underlying Negev centers on sustained suppressive fire, with control taking time to establish. Ultralight is among 51 machinegun skins, and its available options include standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and version while checking whether the pictured gray-and-teal layout fits their inventory.

History and Origin

Negev | Ultralight was introduced in CS:GO on August 6, 2020. It arrived with the Fracture Case as part of the Fracture Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Hoxton created the finish, establishing its community-designed origin. The skin belongs to The Fracture Collection, which identifies its collection separately from the case that contains it. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Fracture Case no longer drops as of October 9, 2026. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Direct marketplace purchases and player trades offer current alternatives for obtaining a specific copy rather than relying on a case result.

Finish Style

Ultralight uses a Custom Paint Job built around gray digital camouflage and pale teal accents. Blocky patches of light and dark gray cover the receiver, creating a broken-up pattern across its broad side panels. The large box magazine carries the same camouflage treatment, extending the patterned area below the weapon's body. Pale teal arrow motifs run in two rows along the receiver, adding direction and color to the gray background. The barrel and muzzle remain mostly dark gray, leaving these narrower components comparatively plain. The stock frame and grip also use dark gray, with lighter highlights visible along their edges. A darker section toward the magazine's front contrasts with the lighter camouflage across the rest of it. Together, these details concentrate the busy artwork on the main body while keeping the surrounding components visually restrained.

Float Value

The float value of Negev | Ultralight ranges from 0.00 to 0.79. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these exterior categories is missing. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are supported, but those version labels are separate from the exterior condition and should be checked independently when comparing copies.

Rarity and Popularity

Negev | Ultralight has Mil-Spec Grade rarity. Its opening chance from the Fracture Case is 11.42%, making rarity relevant when choosing between opening a case and buying an existing copy. Professional owners include f0rest, tarik and shox, although their ownership alone does not establish current buyer demand or trading volume.

Why it’s Popular:

• Gray digital camouflage suits restrained loadouts

• Pale teal arrows provide a clear accent color

• Detailed receiver and magazine contrast with plain outer components

• Every exterior offers a different condition choice

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden the selection

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for Negev | Ultralight is $0.04 to $20.00. These bounds cover the whole item, not a permanently assigned exterior or version. Check individual listings for Factory New through Battle-Scarred condition and the precise float rather than comparing the finish name alone. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir status are separate listing details, so confirm the version before evaluating an asking price. To compare offers before buying or selling, match the exterior and version first, then review the float and item images.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Fracture Case

Open a Fracture Case for a chance at this Mil-Spec Grade skin. The opening chance is 11.42%, so purchasing a case does not secure an Ultralight. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, although the case no longer drops.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Negev | Ultralight on the Steam Community Market to select an existing copy instead of relying on a random case result. Check the listing's exterior, float and version carefully so the item matches the intended purchase.

4. Trade with Other Players

Obtain the finish by trading with another player who already owns it. Check the offered Negev's exterior, float value and version before agreeing to the exchange. Compare the actual item details with the trade proposal rather than treating every Ultralight copy as interchangeable.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Fracture Case openings consume existing cases while still allowing new Ultralight copies to enter circulation, so retired case drops do not mean a fixed skin supply. The price level is low, but current buyer demand and trading volume remain uncertain. Compare exterior, float and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir status before buying, selling or arranging a trade.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Fracture Case drops

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinct gray camouflage and teal accents

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options

• Availability across every exterior

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by retired case drops, a low entry price level and documented professional ownership. These factors make it worth considering as a modest collection purchase, but they do not demonstrate rising demand. The main risk is that existing case openings can add copies while buyer interest and resale activity remain uncertain.
