Negev | CaliCamo

Negev | CaliCamo is a CS2 Heavy weapon skin with a mottled camouflage finish across its receiver, ammunition box and grips. Pale tan, brown and muted reddish-orange patches give it an earthy, military-style appearance. The look suits players who prefer patterned equipment over bright, decorative finishes. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with regular and Souvenir versions but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

Negev | CaliCamo brings an earthy camouflage design to the Negev machine gun in CS2. Its Hydrographic finish uses a VariCamo pattern rather than a uniform coat of color. The receiver and ammunition box carry the busiest detailing, making the camouflage visible across the weapon's broad panels. Dark barrel and support components provide a restrained contrast to the patterned body. This treatment suits loadouts built around tan, brown and other muted colors. The weapon itself emphasizes sustained suppression, with time needed to establish control over its fire. Ownership by apEX, SPUNJ and crush gives the skin a supported connection to professional players without establishing broader demand. Buyers can compare regular and Souvenir copies by exterior, float value and the appearance of the individual item.

History and Origin

Negev | CaliCamo entered CS:GO on November 27, 2013. Its introduction accompanied the DreamHack 2013 update. The skin belongs to The Mirage Collection, which establishes its collection origin separately from its Souvenir packaging. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Its accompanying flavor text focuses on reconstruction following destruction. The Souvenir version is associated with 15 packages. These include the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package, connecting this version to those tournament-era releases. Today, acquisition routes include the Steam Community Market, player trades and opening an associated Souvenir Package. Trade Up Contracts provide another route through The Mirage Collection, although the result is not guaranteed to be CaliCamo.

Finish Style

The finish applies a VariCamo design through a Hydrographic treatment, giving the Negev a layered camouflage appearance. Pale tan, olive brown, dark brown and muted reddish orange share space across the receiver. The ammunition box carries the same general palette, extending the pattern onto another prominent surface. Irregular patches and small speckles interrupt the larger color areas, creating detail without a single central illustration. Reddish-orange blocks and strips break up the surrounding browns and help distinguish the pattern's different sections. The forward grip, pistol grip and rear stock pad also carry pale tan and brown camouflage. By contrast, the barrel, muzzle and stock struts remain mostly dark brown to nearly black. The result is a busy main body framed by comparatively plain mechanical parts, with the color contrast defining the weapon's visual character.

Float Value

The float value range for Negev | CaliCamo is 0.00 to 0.60. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so buyers can compare the exterior label alongside the exact float. Regular and Souvenir versions are available; version availability should be considered separately from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Negev | CaliCamo has the Industrial Grade rarity designation within The Mirage Collection. Its chance within that collection is 3.21%, which should not be treated as the probability for a Trade Up Contract or a Souvenir Package. Regular and Souvenir availability broadens the choice of versions, while ownership by apEX, SPUNJ and crush provides a specific professional connection.

Why it’s Popular:

• Earthy camouflage suits muted, military-style loadouts

• Reddish-orange accents add contrast without dominating the finish

• Patterned panels contrast with dark, plain mechanical parts

• Souvenir availability gives collectors another version to consider

Price Range

The live Negev | CaliCamo price range is $10.70 to $440.08. These bounds cover the whole skin and are not fixed to a particular exterior or version. Regular and Souvenir listings should be compared separately rather than assumed to share the same valuation. Within an exterior, check the exact float value and inspect the individual copy instead of relying only on its condition label. When planning to buy, sell or trade, compare matching versions and exteriors so the CS2 skin price remains meaningful.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open an associated Souvenir Package for a chance to obtain the Souvenir version of Negev | CaliCamo. The skin is linked to 15 packages, including the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. This route does not allow the buyer to select CaliCamo directly.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Consumer Grade skins from The Mirage Collection to produce 1 Industrial Grade skin from that collection. CaliCamo is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Industrial Grade skins. Treat this as a chance-based acquisition route, not a guaranteed substitute for buying a listing.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Negev | CaliCamo through the Steam Community Market by choosing a listing for the desired exterior and version. Check whether the item is regular or Souvenir, then compare its float value and visible condition before purchasing.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers a route to exchange other items for a regular or Souvenir copy. Agree on the specific version and exterior, and inspect the offered item's float before accepting. A trade should be evaluated against comparable listings rather than the skin's overall price range alone.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Professional ownership and Souvenir availability give CaliCamo identifiable collecting appeal, but they do not establish trading volume or sustained buyer demand. A verified supply trend is unavailable, so there is no basis for predicting scarcity-driven price growth. Traders should compare regular and Souvenir copies separately, then narrow the comparison by exterior and float.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created finish with a documented release history

• Established connection to The Mirage Collection

• Souvenir versions linked to tournament-era packages

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive earthy palette with reddish-orange accents

Negev | CaliCamo receives a medium investment rating, supported by its Valve origin, Souvenir options and documented professional ownership. Those features support collecting interest, but they are not evidence of reliable price appreciation. The main risk is uncertain future demand, especially when the available supply trend cannot be established.
