Negev | Bratatat

Negev | Bratatat is a CS2 heavy weapon skin that brings comic-book gunfire effects to the Negev. Orange-red lettering, yellow accents and illustrated bullet holes stand out against a dark olive-gray body. Its concentrated artwork suits players who prefer graphic designs with otherwise understated weapon parts. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

Negev | Bratatat gives the CS2 machinegun a Custom Paint Job centered on comic-book lettering and illustrated impact marks. The underlying Negev is a heavy weapon whose suppressive fire takes time to bring under control. Across the receiver, orange-red lettering provides the finish's main visual focus against an olive-gray background. The ammunition box adds a separate burst graphic, extending the illustrated theme beyond the weapon's body. Muted barrel, handle and stock colors keep the brighter details concentrated rather than covering every surface. This balance suits players building an orange-accented loadout or choosing a weapon with a comic-book theme. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options give buyers different versions to consider without changing the finish's identity. Before choosing a copy, buyers can compare its exterior, exact float value and visible presentation alongside the asking price.

History and Origin

Negev | Bratatat was released in CS:GO on July 10, 2014. It arrived with the eSports 2014 Summer Case in the eSports 2014 Summer Case Skins update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. The skin belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection, linking its collection identity to that release. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Consequently, the eSports 2014 Summer Case no longer drops, distinguishing its original introduction from its current availability. Existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened for a chance at the skin. Players seeking the finished item today can instead buy it on the Steam Community Market or obtain it through player trades.

Finish Style

The Custom Paint Job turns comic-book gunfire into the central theme of Bratatat. A dark olive-gray receiver forms the background for the brighter artwork. Repeated orange-red BRATATAT lettering stretches across its side, giving the weapon a graphic, illustrated character. Yellow edging around the letters adds contrast without replacing the subdued base color. Small bullet-hole motifs appear around the lettering, reinforcing the gunfire theme through drawn details. On the ammunition box, yellow-orange rays spread outward from a white burst positioned near the lower edge. The barrel, muzzle, carry handle, grip and skeletal stock remain largely gray or dark olive. Most of the decoration sits on the receiver and ammunition box, leaving the surrounding parts comparatively plain.

Float Value

Negev | Bratatat has a float range of 0.00 to 1.00. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of those exterior categories is excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, with version choice separate from the cosmetic condition represented by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

Negev | Bratatat is Mil-Spec Grade and belongs to a group of 51 Machinegun skins. Its chance from the eSports 2014 Summer Case is 13.32%, described approximately as 1 in 8 openings. Professional players bondik, HooXi and Karsa have owned the skin.

Why it’s Popular:

• Comic-book lettering gives the receiver a distinct visual identity

• Orange-red artwork contrasts with a muted olive-gray base

• StatTrak and Souvenir options offer different collecting choices

• All exterior categories are available

Price Range

The live Negev | Bratatat price range is $1.67 to $55.00. Exterior and exact float help distinguish individual copies across its full condition range. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions should also be compared separately when checking CS2 skin prices. These bounds cover the whole skin, not fixed prices for any named exterior or version. Use Eneba Skins to compare listings that match the desired condition and version before choosing which copy to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the eSports 2014 Summer Case

Open an existing eSports 2014 Summer Case for a chance at this finish. The case no longer drops, but market-bought cases can still be opened, with a 13.32% chance of receiving Bratatat.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Negev | Bratatat directly on the Steam Community Market rather than leaving the result to a case opening. Check the offered item's exterior, version and float before deciding whether it matches the intended purchase.

4. Trade with Other Players

Negev | Bratatat can also be obtained through trades with other players, using an agreed exchange instead of opening its case. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float and standard, StatTrak or Souvenir status before accepting the trade.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit replenishment of the case supply, although opening existing cases can still introduce additional Bratatat copies. Professional ownership is a point of interest, not a reliable measure of demand or resale speed. Compare exterior, float and version before deciding what to buy, sell or trade, without assuming an established upward price trend.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Finite supply of the retired source case

• Documented ownership by professional players

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

• Distinctive comic-book artwork from Valve

Negev | Bratatat receives a medium investment rating, balancing its retired source case and professional ownership against uncertain future demand. Existing case openings can still add copies, and its Mil-Spec Grade rarity does not make the finish inherently scarce. It is a collecting option rather than a basis for promised returns.
