Negev | Army Sheen

Negev | Army Sheen is a CS2 heavy machine gun skin with subdued camouflage and a metallic finish. Olive green, charcoal, and muted gray give it a practical military look rather than bold artwork. It suits restrained loadouts built around darker colors. Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested copies are available, including Souvenir versions.

Description

Negev | Army Sheen brings a muted military palette to the Negev heavy machine gun in CS2. Its camouflage is pressed into a metallic foil finish, combining irregular patches with a reflective surface. The weapon's suppressive fire takes time to control, matching the finish's practical visual character. A large olive ammunition box forms a substantial part of the design beneath the receiver. Gray stock and forward-grip components contrast with the darker pistol grip and camouflage-covered body. The look suits players who prefer equipment-like styling without prominent artwork or lettering. Buyers can choose regular or Souvenir copies without changing the underlying Army Sheen design. When comparing listings, the useful distinctions are exterior, exact float value, and version rather than the finish name alone.

History and Origin

Negev | Army Sheen entered CS:GO on May 1, 2014, before becoming available for use in CS2. It was introduced in the "Huntsman Case Skins" update. The update title is separate from the skin's collection identity, which is The Bank Collection. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer submitting the artwork. Its accompanying flavor text refers to remembering training, reinforcing the restrained military theme of the camouflage. Today, the Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for buyers seeking a particular copy. Player-to-player trades provide another acquisition route, with regular and Souvenir versions available to compare.

Finish Style

Army Sheen uses the Anodized Multicolored finish style, giving its camouflage a metallic foil appearance. Dark olive green covers the receiver and barrel, establishing the main color across the weapon's upper body. Charcoal and muted gray patches interrupt that green base without creating a bright contrast. Thin pale highlights add definition, particularly along the barrel and rear receiver. The ammunition box is mostly olive green, with a broad dark section breaking up its side. A recessed rectangular panel adds a distinct structural detail to that large lower component. The stock frame and forward grip are gray, while the pistol grip carries a darker tone. Together, these elements create subdued camouflage whose detail comes from patches, highlights, and sheen rather than lettering or elaborate illustrations.

Float Value

The Negev | Army Sheen float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.30, defining the full available wear span. Its exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested, with no Well-Worn or Battle-Scarred copies. Souvenir versions are available, but there is no StatTrak™ edition; version availability should be considered separately from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Negev | Army Sheen has Consumer Grade rarity within The Bank Collection. Its acquisition odds within that collection are 13.34%. Documented professional owners include kennyS, ScreaM, and Skadoodle, providing recognizable ownership examples without establishing future demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Subdued olive camouflage suits military-themed loadouts

• Metallic sheen adds detail without bright artwork

• Regular and Souvenir versions offer distinct buying options

• Gray components complement the darker camouflage

Price Range

The live Negev | Army Sheen price range is $0.01 to $2.29. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a particular exterior or version. Regular and Souvenir listings should be compared separately, since version is distinct from cosmetic condition. An exterior label identifies the wear category, while the exact float allows a more precise comparison between copies. A useful CS2 skin price comparison checks the asking price, exterior, float, and version together before selecting a listing to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market is a direct purchase route for Negev | Army Sheen, allowing buyers to select a listed copy. The relevant checks are its exterior, float value, and whether the listing is regular or Souvenir.

3. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another way to obtain Army Sheen by exchanging items with another owner. Before accepting a trade, the recipient should verify the offered copy's exterior, exact float, and regular or Souvenir status.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Consumer Grade rarity and low regular-version pricing make Army Sheen more approachable as a play skin than as a scarcity-led trade. Professional ownership adds recognizable names, but does not establish future buying demand or a price trend. Buyers and sellers should match exterior, float, and version when comparing offers, rather than treating every copy as interchangeable.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Valve-created camouflage with a restrained metallic finish

• The Bank Collection provenance

• Souvenir versions provide a separate collecting option

• Documented ownership by professional players

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor, balancing accessible regular pricing and professional ownership against limited evidence for a scarcity-driven investment. Its main risk is uncertain resale demand: collection identity and Souvenir availability do not establish future price growth. It is better approached as a chosen play skin or collection purchase than a presumed profitable hold.
