About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes the skin's exterior condition and is tied to float value. The Lionfish ranges from 0.00 to 0.55 and comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is an assigned grade that helps describe acquisition odds. The Lionfish is Restricted, with a stated 3.2% chance from the Clutch Case.

How much does the Negev | Lionfish cost?

The Negev | Lionfish ranges from $0.32 to $10.00. Compare individual listings by exterior, float, and version.

Which case contains the Negev | Lionfish?

The Negev | Lionfish comes from the Clutch Case. That case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

Does the Negev | Lionfish have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, the Negev | Lionfish has both StatTrak and Souvenir versions, alongside regular copies. Check the version separately from the exterior and float when comparing listings.

Is the Negev | Lionfish a good investment?

The Negev | Lionfish receives a medium investment rating. Retired case supply is a positive factor, but resale demand is uncertain and existing cases or trade-ups can still produce copies.

Short Description

The Negev | Lionfish is a CS2 Heavy weapon skin with a randomized, spray-painted lionfish pattern. Rust-orange, cream-white, and dark bands suit players who prefer busy, high-contrast finishes. It offers Factory New through Battle-Scarred exteriors, alongside regular, StatTrak™, and Souvenir versions.

Description

The Negev | Lionfish brings an aquatic pattern to the Negev, a Heavy weapon in CS2. The weapon favors sustained suppressive fire, provided there is time to bring that fire under control. Paint across the receiver and large ammunition box makes the design visible on the Negev's broad surfaces. The orange base and contrasting stripes create a lively palette rather than a restrained, single-color look. It suits orange-and-cream loadouts or players who want a patterned Heavy weapon. Because the pattern is randomized, individual listing images help buyers judge the arrangement on a particular copy. Different exterior grades and supported versions provide alternatives without changing the finish's basic visual identity. Buyers and sellers can compare float, condition, and version when deciding which copy to buy, sell, or trade.

History and Origin

The Negev | Lionfish was released on February 14, 2018, alongside the Clutch Case. Its debut came in the Clutch Case Skins update. PTP, a Steam Workshop community designer, created the finish. The skin belongs to The Clutch Collection, which also determines its collection-specific trade-up route. Mil-Spec Grade items from that collection can produce the Lionfish as a random Restricted contract result. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Clutch Case drops. Existing cases remain purchasable and openable, so retirement did not remove the case-opening acquisition route. Today, marketplace purchases and player trades also offer ways to obtain an existing copy without relying on a random result.

Finish Style

The Lionfish finish uses the Spray-Paint style, with a randomized pattern inspired by the striped fish. Rust-orange forms the main color field, interrupted by cream-white marks and dark brown to black sections. The receiver, barrel shroud, stock, and large ammunition box carry the pattern across most of the weapon. Pale stripes curve through the orange areas or break into irregular, jagged patches. Dark bands add contrast where they meet the lighter marks. The barrel and stock show closely spaced bands, while the ammunition box carries broader, sweeping stripes. Small dark mechanical details remain visible around the receiver and beneath the barrel. This mixture of tight banding and broad stripes gives the finish a busy character that rewards inspecting the whole weapon.

Float Value

The Negev | Lionfish has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.55. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions are available, with version selection separate from the cosmetic condition described by exterior and float.

Rarity and Popularity

The Negev | Lionfish has Restricted rarity and belongs to The Clutch Collection. Its stated Clutch Case drop chance is 3.2%, or about 1 in 31 drops. KRIMZ, s1mple, and tarik have owned the skin, although professional ownership alone does not establish current buyer demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Rust-orange and cream-white colors suit coordinated loadouts

• Broad stripes make the ammunition box visually distinctive

• Randomized patterns give buyers different arrangements to inspect

• StatTrak and Souvenir options expand the available choices

Price Range

The live Negev | Lionfish price range is $0.32 to $10.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, not fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Compare exterior and float alongside regular, StatTrak, or Souvenir labels when checking individual listings. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match the version and cosmetic condition before choosing a listing to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Clutch Case

Opening a Clutch Case offers a chance at the Negev | Lionfish, with a stated probability of 3.2%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract uses 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Clutch Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. The Lionfish is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market offers a direct purchase route for the Negev | Lionfish without a random opening or contract result. Check the listing's exterior and version against the desired copy before buying.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer another route to an existing Negev | Lionfish without opening a Clutch Case. Inspect the offered item's name, version, float, and exterior before accepting, since copies can differ in condition and pattern arrangement.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Clutch Case no longer drops, but existing cases and trade-up contracts still allow additional Lionfish copies. Its low price level makes it accessible for loadout buying; compare versions and floats without assuming professional ownership proves dependable resale demand.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Clutch Case drops

• Distinctive high-contrast lionfish pattern

• StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

• Ownership by KRIMZ, s1mple, and tarik

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply, an accessible price level, and supported professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, while existing cases and trade-up contracts remain routes to additional copies rather than evidence of future gains.
