About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality refers to the skin's exterior condition, which is tied to its float value. G3SG1 | Stinger spans 0.00 to 0.70 and supports every standard exterior; StatTrak and Souvenir are separate version choices.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's grade and helps distinguish its acquisition odds from its cosmetic condition. G3SG1 | Stinger is Restricted, with a stated 3.2% chance from the Glove Case.

How much does G3SG1 | Stinger cost?

G3SG1 | Stinger ranges from $1.16 to $12.05. The range covers the whole skin; compare individual listings by exterior, float, and version.

Which exteriors are available for G3SG1 | Stinger?

G3SG1 | Stinger comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 0.70.

Which case contains G3SG1 | Stinger?

The Glove Case contains G3SG1 | Stinger. It no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened for a chance at the skin.

Does G3SG1 | Stinger have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, G3SG1 | Stinger has both StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Compare the version separately from the exterior and float when choosing a listing.

Short Description

G3SG1 | Stinger is a CS2 sniper rifle skin with a dark gray and black base highlighted by bright yellow accents. Its geometric markings emphasize the scope, receiver, magazine, and grip without covering the entire weapon in color. The restrained design suits players building a dark loadout with contrasting yellow details. All standard exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

G3SG1 | Stinger gives the Terrorist-side sniper rifle a Gunsmith finish built around dark surfaces and carefully placed yellow markings. The weapon trades movement speed for a higher firing rate than other sniper rifles. Black and gray cover most of the body, while lighter gray sections separate the barrel and receiver from the darker components. Yellow accents draw attention to the front sight, muzzle, and scope ends. The magazine and grip carry additional yellow details, extending the color scheme beyond the upper receiver. Angular shapes give the finish a technical character rather than an illustrated or ornamental look. The finish belongs to The Glove Collection and has Restricted rarity. Players who collect different versions can consider standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies without changing the underlying finish design. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value, and version to select a listing that matches their preferred presentation and budget.

History and Origin

G3SG1 | Stinger was introduced to CS:GO on November 28, 2016. It arrived with the Glove Case during the Glove Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer nozza created the finish, establishing its community-designed origin. The skin belongs to The Glove Collection, which also provides the collection route for trade-up contracts. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Glove Case drops. Existing Glove Cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so case retirement does not prevent further Stinger outcomes. Trade-up contracts remain another way to obtain the finish, although their Restricted result is random rather than a guaranteed Stinger. For current CS2 ownership, marketplace purchases and player trades offer alternatives that allow selection of an existing copy instead of a random result.

Finish Style

The Stinger uses the Gunsmith finish style, with a predominantly dark gray and black body punctuated by bright yellow details. Lighter gray sections on the barrel and receiver create separation between components without introducing another strong accent color. Yellow outlines mark the muzzle and front sight, giving the rifle's forward section a defined visual edge. Both ends of the scope receive yellow accents, carrying the same color into the weapon's upper profile. Angular yellow markings run along the upper receiver, with smaller patches distributed around the body. The gray magazine has a broad yellow band across its bottom, creating a contrasting block beneath the receiver. Yellow patches appear near the trigger and at the base of the black grip, connecting the lower components to the upper markings. The stock remains mostly black with subtle gray outlines, completing a restrained, geometric design rather than an all-over yellow finish.

Float Value

G3SG1 | Stinger has an exact float range of 0.00 to 0.70, giving buyers a broad range of cosmetic conditions to compare. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with none of those exterior categories excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist; these are version choices separate from the exterior and exact float of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

G3SG1 | Stinger has the Restricted rarity grade and belongs to The Glove Collection. Its stated chance from a Glove Case opening is 3.2%, making an opening a random acquisition route rather than a reliable way to select this finish. Professional players s1mple, tarik, and mou have owned the skin, although that ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright yellow accents contrast with the dark rifle body

• Geometric markings suit restrained black-and-yellow loadouts

• All standard exteriors provide varied condition choices

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer additional collecting options

Price Range

The live G3SG1 | Stinger price range is $1.16 to $12.05. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a fixed exterior or version. Its modest price level makes exterior and float comparisons useful when choosing between available listings. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir copies should be compared separately rather than assuming a particular version always costs more. For a practical CS2 skin price comparison, match the listing's version, exterior, and exact float before deciding which copy to buy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Glove Case

Open a Glove Case for a chance to receive G3SG1 | Stinger, with a stated chance of 3.2%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. This route produces a random result, so it cannot guarantee the finish or the cosmetic condition a buyer wants.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Glove Collection for 1 Restricted skin from that collection. G3SG1 | Stinger is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins. This route should not be treated as a guaranteed substitute for buying a specific listing.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

G3SG1 | Stinger can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of obtained through a random case opening or contract. Check the listed exterior and version carefully, then compare the particular copy's float when that information is available.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another route to obtain an existing G3SG1 | Stinger. Agree on the exact exterior, float, and version before evaluating the exchange, since the finish name alone does not identify the complete item. Check that the offered copy matches those details before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired Glove Case drops constrain case supply, although existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce additional Stinger skins. Ownership by s1mple, tarik, and mou is established, but current buyer demand and resale speed remain uncertain. Before deciding to buy, sell, or trade, compare exact exteriors, float values, and versions rather than assuming every StatTrak copy carries a premium.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Glove Cases enter the drop pool

• Professional ownership includes s1mple, tarik, and mou

• Modest pricing offers an accessible entry point

• Distinctive yellow accents give the finish a clear visual identity

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide collecting choices

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply, a modest price level, and established professional ownership. The main risk is uncertain buyer demand while openings and trade-up contracts can continue adding copies, so case retirement alone does not promise resale gains.
