G3SG1 | Safari Mesh

The G3SG1 | Safari Mesh is a CS2 rifle skin for the Terrorist side with a muted camouflage-style finish. Sandy beige and olive green cover the weapon, while darker mesh details break up its broad surfaces. Its understated palette suits players who prefer practical-looking equipment over lettering or illustrated artwork. Standard and Souvenir versions are available, with exteriors ranging from Factory New to Battle-Scarred and no StatTrak™ option.

Description

G3SG1 | Safari Mesh brings a subdued, stenciled finish to the Terrorist-side rifle in CS2. The weapon trades reduced movement speed for a higher firing rate than other sniper rifles. Beige and olive coloring gives the finish an earthy appearance rather than a bright, graphic-led design. A dark diamond mesh is especially noticeable across the broad front section and magazine. The absence of visible lettering or illustrated artwork keeps attention on the camouflage pattern itself. This look suits players building a restrained loadout around muted colors and utilitarian styling. Collectors can choose a standard copy or a Souvenir edition according to their version preference. Buyers should compare the exact float value, exterior and version instead of treating every Safari Mesh listing as equivalent.

History and Origin

G3SG1 | Safari Mesh was released in CS:GO on November 27, 2013, during the DreamHack 2013 update. Valve created the finish rather than a community designer. It entered the game as part of The Mirage Collection, which remains its collection identity in CS2. Souvenir editions are associated with 15 packages. These include the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. Today, opening a compatible Souvenir Package offers a chance to obtain a Souvenir copy rather than a guaranteed result. Direct purchases on the Steam Community Market provide an alternative to package openings. Player-to-player trades also allow existing copies to change hands, making trading another current acquisition route alongside the skin's historical package associations.

Finish Style

The Spray-Paint finish uses fence mesh and cut cardboard as stencils to create its layered camouflage. Muted sandy beige and olive green extend across the receiver, barrel, scope, stock, magazine and pistol grip. Darker diamond shapes form the mesh pattern, with the clearest detail on the broad front section. The magazine also carries visible mesh, connecting its appearance with the larger painted body. Soft-edged tan and olive patches interrupt the grid rather than leaving it uniformly exposed. The scope and barrel have a quieter, mostly olive treatment that contrasts with the more patterned areas. Recesses and the scope lens appear dark, adding separation between the painted surfaces and inset details. With no visible lettering or illustrated artwork, the overall character stays subdued and focused on texture.

Float Value

The G3SG1 | Safari Mesh float value ranges from 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of these wear categories is excluded. Standard and Souvenir versions exist; version availability should be considered separately from a copy's exterior condition.

Rarity and Popularity

G3SG1 | Safari Mesh belongs to the Consumer Grade rarity tier in The Mirage Collection. Its stated collection chance is 13.35%, which should not be treated as confirmed odds for any particular Souvenir Package. Professional ownership includes apEX, SPUNJ and chrisJ, though those names alone do not establish demand for copies listed today.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted beige and olive camouflage

• Distinctive diamond mesh without illustrated artwork

• Standard and Souvenir options for different collecting preferences

• Documented ownership by professional players

Price Range

The live G3SG1 | Safari Mesh price range is $1.28 to $99.00. These bounds cover the whole skin and should not be assigned permanently to an exterior or version. Compare individual CS2 skin listings by exterior and exact float value rather than treating all copies as interchangeable. Standard and Souvenir editions also deserve separate comparisons because version is distinct from cosmetic condition. Before deciding where to buy, sell or trade, check the specific copy's details against current listings rather than relying on the range alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a compatible Souvenir Package for a chance to receive a Souvenir G3SG1 | Safari Mesh. The skin is associated with 15 packages, including the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. Package openings leave the result uncertain, unlike purchasing a specific listed copy.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy G3SG1 | Safari Mesh on the Steam Community Market to select an existing copy directly. Check the listing's exterior and whether it is standard or Souvenir before comparing its price with other offers. This route avoids the uncertain item result of a Souvenir Package opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

G3SG1 | Safari Mesh can also be obtained through player-to-player trades. Compare the exterior, exact float and standard or Souvenir status before agreeing on which items to exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The price context is modest, but current supply depth and turnover are uncertain. Professional ownership provides some visibility, not proof of sustained buyer demand or easy resale. Compare standard and Souvenir copies separately before buying to trade, since exterior and version differences do not establish future price growth.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Established place in The Mirage Collection

• Documented professional ownership

• Souvenir options linked to named tournament packages

• Distinctive mesh finish with an understated palette

The editorial investment rating is medium-to-poor: collection history, Souvenir options and professional ownership provide interest, but evidence of sustained trading demand is limited. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, so collecting this finish should not be confused with expecting price appreciation.
