About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Exterior quality describes the skin's cosmetic condition, which is associated with its float value. Scavenger spans Factory New through Battle-Scarred; compare listing images because scratches and scuffed-looking details also form part of its artwork.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's grade and helps describe its acquisition odds. Scavenger is Restricted, with a listed 3.2% chance from the Danger Zone Case; rarity is separate from exterior condition.

How much does G3SG1 | Scavenger cost?

G3SG1 | Scavenger ranges from $0.40 to $10.00. These bounds cover the whole skin, so compare the exterior, float and version of each listing.

What exteriors are available for G3SG1 | Scavenger?

G3SG1 | Scavenger comes in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Its float range is 0.00 to 0.65.

Does G3SG1 | Scavenger have StatTrak or Souvenir versions?

Yes, G3SG1 | Scavenger has both StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Check the version separately from the exterior and float when comparing listings.

Which case contains G3SG1 | Scavenger?

G3SG1 | Scavenger comes from the Danger Zone Case. That case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought and opened, with a listed 3.2% chance of this skin.

Short Description

G3SG1 | Scavenger is a CS2 rifle skin built around a mismatched, salvaged-material look. Olive metal contrasts with yellow sign panels, orange-brown sections and broad gray grip bands. Its industrial appearance suits players who prefer improvised equipment over polished finishes. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

G3SG1 | Scavenger gives the Terrorist-side rifle a patchwork appearance through its Gunsmith finish. The G3SG1 sacrifices movement speed for a higher firing rate than other sniper rifles. Its skin combines dark olive and gray metal with bright yellow-orange replacement parts. Street-sign elements and a repurposed tomato can establish the scavenged-material theme. Black diagonal stripes across the fore-end provide a strong visual focal point. The scope and barrel retain muted colors, balancing the brighter panels elsewhere on the weapon. This look suits industrial loadouts and players who appreciate deliberately mismatched details rather than a uniform color scheme. Buyers can compare exterior, float value and version while checking how each individual copy presents those details.

History and Origin

The finish debuted on December 6, 2018, alongside the Danger Zone Case. Its release came through the update titled "Danger Zone Case Skins". Steam Workshop community designer DasDas created the skin. It belongs to The Danger Zone Collection, linking its collection identity with its original case. The design's premise centers on an originally green weapon repaired with repurposed everyday materials. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, ending new Danger Zone Case drops. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open despite that retirement. Today, the finished skin can also be acquired through marketplace purchases, player trades and eligible Trade Up Contracts.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish brings together olive-green metal, gray sections and yellow-orange panels in a deliberately uneven palette. The receiver, barrel and scope have dark coloring interrupted by brown patches and scuffed-looking edges. A yellow sign panel covers the fore-end, carrying bold black diagonal stripes and fragments of lettering. Rusty orange-brown sections frame that panel and reinforce the salvaged appearance. The stock continues the yellow-orange treatment with black markings, scratches and a dark rectangular inset. On the magazine, green-gray surfaces meet pale rectangular bands and reddish-brown edge patches. Broad gray bands wrap an orange-brown grip, adding another distinct material treatment to the rifle. These contrasting parts express the street-sign and tomato-can concept without turning the weapon into a visually uniform design.

Float Value

The G3SG1 | Scavenger float range runs from 0.00 to 0.65. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior grade excluded. StatTrak and Souvenir versions also exist, but version availability is separate from a copy's exterior and cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

G3SG1 | Scavenger has the Restricted rarity grade. Its listed chance from a Danger Zone Case opening is 3.2%, so opening the case does not guarantee this finish. Professional players tarik, Spiidi and tenzki have owned it, although ownership does not change its rarity or acquisition odds.

Why it’s Popular:

• Yellow warning stripes stand out against muted olive metal

• Salvaged signs and can parts create a distinctive industrial theme

• Mismatched colors suit rough, utilitarian loadouts

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide additional collecting options

Price Range

The live G3SG1 | Scavenger price range is $0.40 to $10.00. Its low-cost price level makes it an accessible option for buyers focused on appearance rather than investment. Exterior and exact float are useful starting points when comparing individual listings. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir copies should be distinguished rather than treated as the same purchase. When buying or selling, compare matching versions and conditions instead of treating the whole-skin range as a quote for a particular copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Danger Zone Case

Opening an existing Danger Zone Case offers a 3.2% chance of receiving this skin. The case no longer drops, but remaining cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Danger Zone Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Scavenger is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The G3SG1 | Scavenger can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of pursuing a random case result. Compare the listed exterior and version, then check the individual copy's float and appearance before buying.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades provide another route to the finished skin without opening its case. Check the offered copy's exterior, float and version, and compare relevant listings before agreeing on the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Case retirement limits fresh case supply, but remaining openings and Trade Up Contracts mean the skin's supply is not fixed. Buyers planning to trade should separate regular, StatTrak and Souvenir listings, then compare matching exteriors and floats. Professional ownership and low pricing do not establish a sustained demand trend or reliable resale growth.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case pool limits fresh case supply

• Distinctive salvaged-material artwork gives the finish a clear identity

• Accessible pricing supports appearance-focused purchases

• Documented ownership by tarik, Spiidi and tenzki

The investment outlook is medium, balancing affordable pricing, documented professional ownership and a retired source case against uncertain demand. The main risk is overestimating the effect of case retirement when existing openings and trade-ups can still produce copies.
