F1 25 lets players recreate pivotal moments from the real world 2025 season, as many drivers made unprecedented moves to other companies. Lewis Hamilton, the game’s cover star, switched from Mercedes to Ferrari as just one highlight echoed in-game.
Players of the previous entries in this series will see a return of the fan-favourite story mode, Braking Point. The latest entry showcases Konnersport as it battles for championships, against the backdrop of a dramatic event that throws the team into chaos.

New players won’t miss out though, as Braking Point has also received new difficulty settings that can ease rookie drivers into the story and gameplay.
It’s Turbo Time
Another returning game feature is My Team, and this has been majorly overhauled so that now players get to take control of their own F1 team. The mode also lets players step behind the wheel to race the game’s many recreations of real tracks, which were recreated using LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology to scan the surface of the Earth for better circuit authenticity.

“F1 25 delivers more ways for players to experience Formula 1 and race their way, from the drama of Braking Point to making headlines in the pursuit of World Championship glory,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters.
