Dark Quest 4 Will Launch on All Major Platforms This Fall
Indie developer and publisher Brain Seal announced the fourth installment of its Dark Quest series later this fall on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. This standalone game returns to the dungeon with a feel of playing a live board game.
Inspired by memorable board games like Hero Quest, Descent, and Dungeon Saga, Dark Quest 4 is a turn-based RPG dungeon crawler that blends strategy and imagination to conquer lengthy quests full of peril.
“Dark Quest 4 is the game I dreamed of playing as a kid – one where your imagination leads the way, every quest feels personal, and the table comes alive before your eyes. This is more than just a game, it’s an invitation to adventure, to create, and to relive the magic of the classics we grew up loving,” said Argi Baltzi, Game Director of Dark Quest 4, in a press release.

Updates For Dark Quest 4
The new installment will feature more than 30 hours worth of story-driven campaign content with unique quests and challenges for teams of up to three players. As a team, players will have to communicate and take advantage of the turn-based gameplay system to vanquish their enemies.
A new level editor, integrated with Steam Workshop, allows players to create their own quests and campaigns, or explore adventures made by members of the Dark Quest 4 community.

The voiced dungeon master acts as the guide and narrator and together with the animated figurines and other game items, the tabletop board game comes to life.
