About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality affects how worn a skin looks: exterior condition describes its wear category, while float identifies its precise wear value. Hellfire spans 0.00 to 0.50 and comes in exteriors from Factory New through Battle-Scarred; standard, StatTrak and Souvenir are separate version types.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity identifies a skin's item grade and relates to its opening odds. Hellfire is Classified, with a 1.07% chance from the Operation Hydra Case.

How much does M4A4 | Hellfire cost?

M4A4 | Hellfire ranges from $57.18 to $1,344.13. Compare the exterior, exact float and version of individual listings.

Which case contains M4A4 | Hellfire?

Short Description

M4A4 | Hellfire is a CS2 rifle skin for the Counter-Terrorist side, featuring devil-themed artwork over a dark charcoal base. Flames, chains and cream lettering give the finish a busy, graphic-heavy appearance. It suits players who prefer illustrated designs with warm colors and strong contrast. Standard, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are available across its listed exteriors.

Description

M4A4 | Hellfire brings a hand-painted devil motif to the Counter-Terrorist full-auto rifle in CS2. Its Custom Paint Job combines orange, red, yellow and cream artwork with a dark charcoal background. A red face above the grip gives the receiver a clear focal point, with yellow eyes and exposed teeth. Large lettering extends across the receiver and magazine, making typography part of the design rather than a small accent. The stock and handguard continue the illustrated theme, while quieter areas around the fittings keep some separation between graphics. This look suits players building a flame-themed loadout or choosing a rifle with detailed character artwork. Buyers can choose between standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions according to their preferred item type. When comparing listings, the exterior, exact float and item image provide more useful detail than the finish name alone.

History and Origin

M4A4 | Hellfire debuted in CS:GO on May 23, 2017, with the Operation Hydra update. Steam Workshop community designer SHPR created the finish. The skin belongs to The Operation Hydra Collection, linking its origins to that release. The Operation Hydra Case introduced it as a possible opening result and remains a route to obtaining it. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Hydra case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so that retirement did not remove the opening route. Today, buyers can also select existing copies through marketplace listings or arrange trades with other players. Trade Up Contracts provide a separate route using eligible Restricted skins from its collection, although the Classified result is random.

Finish Style

Hellfire uses a Custom Paint Job centered on a devil-like creature surrounded by fire and chains. The dark charcoal base sits beneath orange, red, yellow and cream graphics across the receiver, magazine, handguard and stock. Above the grip, a red face combines yellow eyes with exposed teeth for a sharply defined expression. Large cream lettering has dark outlines and runs across the receiver before continuing down the magazine. Flames and black chain shapes surround the lettering, filling much of the rifle's central area. The handguard carries a pointed red-orange graphic, while the stock adds flame accents and smaller cream lettering. Pale chain links decorate the dark grip, extending the chain theme onto another weapon part. The mostly gray barrel and muzzle contrast with the illustrated body, alongside quieter dark spaces around the metal fittings.

Float Value

M4A4 | Hellfire has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.50. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but version type is separate from the exterior condition and exact float of an individual copy.

Rarity and Popularity

M4A4 | Hellfire has Classified rarity, with a 1.07% opening chance from the Operation Hydra Case. Its case no longer drops, although existing cases can still be opened and copies can also come through eligible trade-ups. Professional players Pimp, n0thing and denis have owned the skin, providing documented ownership beyond ordinary marketplace availability.

Why it’s Popular:

• Devil artwork gives the receiver a distinct focal point

• Warm flames contrast with the dark charcoal base

• Cream lettering and chains create a detailed illustrated finish

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir options support different collecting preferences

Price Range

The live M4A4 | Hellfire CS2 skin price range is $57.18 to $1,344.13. These bounds cover the whole skin, rather than a fixed exterior or version. Compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings separately so that the item types match. An exterior label does not identify the exact float, making the listed wear value useful when comparing copies within the same condition. Inspect the item image alongside those details before deciding which listing to buy or how to price a copy for sale.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Hydra Case

Open the Operation Hydra Case for a chance at Hellfire, with an opening probability of 1.07%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. Opening one does not let the player choose Hellfire as the result.

3. Trade Up Contracts

Trade Up Contracts can use 10 Restricted skins from The Operation Hydra Collection to produce 1 Classified skin from that collection. Hellfire is a possible outcome, but the result is random among the collection's Classified skins, so input costs should be considered before attempting the contract.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy an existing M4A4 | Hellfire listing on the Steam Community Market to select a specific copy instead of opening a case. Check its exterior, float and version before purchase, particularly when comparing standard items with StatTrak or Souvenir listings.

5. Trade with Other Players

Hellfire can be acquired through a trade with another player who already owns a copy. Confirm the exact item, exterior, float and version in the offer, then compare the value of the items being exchanged rather than relying on the finish name.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops prevent new Hydra cases from entering through that route, but existing cases and eligible trade-ups can still produce Hellfire. Professional ownership offers a visibility signal, not proof of rising demand or quick resale. For a buy, sell or trade decision, compare matching versions and floats; price trends and resale speed remain uncertain.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Hydra case drops restrict replenishment of case supply

• Classified rarity with low case-opening odds

• Documented ownership by Pimp, n0thing and denis

• Distinctive devil, flame and chain artwork

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by retired case drops, Classified rarity and documented professional ownership. These factors give collectors reasons to consider holding the skin, but they do not establish a reliable short-term trading opportunity. The main risk is uncertain demand and resale pricing, while existing cases and trade-up contracts can still add copies.
