M4A4 | Buzz Kill

M4A4 | Buzz Kill is a CS2 rifle skin with a busy, industrial Gunsmith finish. Yellow panels contrast with dark charcoal components, while olive-green and gray details cover the grip and magazine. The look suits Counter-Terrorist loadouts built around bright colors and technical graphics. Available exteriors span Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

M4A4 | Buzz Kill decorates the Counter-Terrorist side's full-auto assault rifle in CS2. Its Gunsmith finish combines yellow and green paint with black and charcoal sections across the weapon. The Sektor Industry identity fits the receiver's technical-looking markings and block-shaped graphics. Large colored panels give the rifle a bold outline, while smaller details reward closer inspection. This finish suits players who prefer an industrial design with contrasting colors rather than a restrained palette. Professional owners include Kjaerbye, Pimp, and pashaBiceps, giving it a documented connection to competitive players. Buyers can choose among Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred copies. Comparing the exact float, exterior, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir version helps narrow the choice beyond appearance alone.

History and Origin

M4A4 | Buzz Kill was released in CS:GO on November 28, 2016, alongside the Glove Case. Its arrival formed part of the update titled "Glove Case Skins". Steam Workshop community designer DasDas created the finish, establishing its community-designed origin. The skin belongs to The Glove Collection, which also provides its collection identity for trade-up contracts. Its flavor text adds a playful party reference to the otherwise industrial presentation. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Glove Case no longer drops as of October 9, 2026. Existing cases remain available to buy on the market and open, so retirement did not remove that acquisition route. Individual copies can also be acquired through the Steam Community Market and player-to-player trades, separately from opening a case.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish builds its industrial character from yellow and green paint contrasted with dark charcoal and black sections. Yellow covers much of the receiver and stock frame, giving the central body and rear assembly a connected color theme. Matching accents appear along the handguard and near the muzzle, extending the yellow treatment toward the barrel. Dark areas cover the barrel, upper receiver, handguard panels, and stock insert, breaking up the bright bodywork. Olive-green and gray angular patches decorate the grip and magazine, introducing a different color arrangement around the lower assembly. A bright yellow strip at the magazine's base links those patches back to the receiver's palette. Repeated slanted grooves run along the handguard and reinforce the technical styling. Small white markings, fine black lines, and block-like receiver graphics add detail without replacing the larger colored panels as the design's main feature.

Float Value

M4A4 | Buzz Kill has a float range of 0.00 to 0.70. Its available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with none of these exterior categories excluded. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions are supported, so version availability should be checked separately from an individual copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

M4A4 | Buzz Kill carries the Covert rarity grade. Its stated chance from the Glove Case is 0.32%, making a case opening an uncertain route to this specific finish. Documented professional ownership includes Kjaerbye, Pimp, and pashaBiceps, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright yellow panels give the rifle a distinctive industrial look

• Olive-green patches and technical markings add visual detail

• Broad exterior availability offers different condition choices

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions provide additional collecting options

Price Range

The live M4A4 | Buzz Kill price range is $79.53 to $645.21. These bounds cover the whole skin rather than a fixed exterior or version. Exact float values and exterior labels help distinguish individual copies within the available listings. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should be compared separately instead of assuming a fixed price order between versions. When evaluating a CS2 skin price, check the listing's condition and version before choosing where to buy, sell, or trade.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Glove Case

Open a Glove Case for a chance to receive M4A4 | Buzz Kill, with a stated chance of 0.32%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A trade-up contract can use 10 Classified skins from The Glove Collection to produce 1 Covert skin from that collection. Buzz Kill is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Covert skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

M4A4 | Buzz Kill can be purchased through the Steam Community Market. Compare each listing's exterior, float value, and version rather than choosing solely by the finish name.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trades offer a way to acquire this finish or exchange an owned copy. Confirm the offered M4A4's exact exterior, float value, and standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir version before accepting.

Trading and Investment Considerations

No new Glove Cases drop, but openings of existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce additional Buzz Kill copies. Professional ownership provides visibility, though it does not establish current buying demand or a reliable price trend. Compare available versions by exterior and float before treating a listing price as an investment signal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Glove Case supply supports its collecting appeal

• Covert rarity gives it a defined collection role

• Documented ownership by professional players

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

M4A4 | Buzz Kill receives a medium investment rating, supported by retired case supply, Covert rarity, and documented professional ownership. Those factors provide reasons to consider holding it, but they do not establish future demand or price growth. The main risk is continued skin creation through existing cases and trade-ups while sustained buyer demand remains uncertain.
