Short Description

The M4A1-S | Decimator is a CS2 rifle skin with a dark base and bright cyan and pink accents. Angular linework gives the suppressed weapon a geometric, retrofuturistic appearance. Its look suits players who prefer colorful outlines rather than an entirely bright rifle. All standard exteriors are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

The M4A1-S | Decimator is a CS2 skin for the Counter-Terrorist side's suppressed rifle. The weapon offers quieter firing, lower recoil, and better accuracy than its unsilenced counterpart, with a smaller magazine. Its Gunsmith finish places vivid blue and pink details against black and dark blue surfaces. Angular patterns across the suppressor, magazine, grip, and stock give the design a consistent geometric theme. Small triangular markings add detail to the receiver without filling every dark area. This combination suits cyan-and-pink loadouts while retaining a restrained base color. Buyers can choose standard, StatTrak™, or Souvenir versions according to their preferred item type. Comparing exterior, exact float value, and listing images helps distinguish individual copies beyond the finish name.

History and Origin

The M4A1-S | Decimator was released in CS:GO on March 15, 2017. It arrived in the Spectrum Case through the Spectrum Case Skins update. Steam Workshop community designer Coridium created the finish. The skin belongs to The Spectrum Collection, which also defines its eligible trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. The Spectrum Case no longer drops, so that route does not replenish existing case stock. Previously obtained cases can still be bought on the market and opened for a possible Decimator result. The skin itself remains obtainable through direct marketplace purchases, player trades, and eligible Trade Up Contracts.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish uses a mostly black and dark blue base beneath its bright accents. Cyan follows the receiver and ribbed handguard, emphasizing their outlines. The same color highlights the front sight and portions of the stock tube. Pink appears around the suppressor opening and along the carry handle. Additional pink accents mark the rear stock, magazine base, and bottom of the pistol grip. Thin angular lines create geometric patterns across the suppressor, magazine, grip, and stock. Small triangular details on the receiver add another layer to the linework. Dark, relatively plain surfaces alternate with bright edges, giving the rifle its understated retrofuturistic character.

Float Value

The M4A1-S | Decimator has a float range of 0.00 to 0.85. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions are also available, with version choice separate from a copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

The M4A1-S | Decimator has the Classified rarity grade. A Spectrum Case opening has a 1.07% chance of yielding this skin. Professional players device, kennyS, and jdm64 have owned it, providing documented ownership without establishing current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Bright cyan and pink accents against a dark base

• Geometric linework across the suppressor, magazine, grip, and stock

• Retrofuturistic styling for coordinated loadouts

• All standard exteriors, plus StatTrak™ and Souvenir options

Price Range

The live M4A1-S | Decimator price range is $10.20 to $145.03. These bounds cover the whole skin, not fixed prices for particular exteriors or versions. Exterior and exact float value are useful comparison points when checking individual listings. Standard, StatTrak™, and Souvenir labels also matter, since they identify different versions rather than cosmetic conditions. To buy, sell, or trade, compare matching item details and inspect the finish instead of relying only on the overall range.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Spectrum Case

Open an existing Spectrum Case for a chance at the Decimator, with a skin drop chance of 1.07%. The case no longer drops, but previously obtained cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Restricted skins from The Spectrum Collection for 1 Classified skin from that collection. The result is random among its Classified skins, so receiving the Decimator is not assured.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The M4A1-S | Decimator can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market instead of obtained through a case opening. Check the exterior, float value, and version before choosing a listing.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading provides another route to a Decimator without opening a Spectrum Case. Compare the offered exterior and version, inspect its float and appearance, and verify the item before accepting the exchange.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Spectrum Case no longer receives new drops, although existing cases remain available to buy and open. This limits fresh case supply but does not prevent additional Decimator skins entering circulation through openings or trade-ups. Traders should compare exterior, float, and version carefully, because professional ownership alone does not establish current demand or resale speed.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Spectrum Case drops

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive cyan-and-pink geometric finish

• StatTrak™ and Souvenir options

The investment rating is medium, supported by retired case supply and documented professional ownership. Its distinctive design and version choices add collecting appeal, but they do not establish a reliable price trend. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, especially when comparing listings across different exteriors and versions.
