M249 | Jungle

M249 | Jungle is a CS2 heavy machine gun skin with a restrained Solid Color finish. Muted green covers the receiver, while tan and olive-brown sections give the weapon an earthy appearance. The look suits players who prefer plain military colors over artwork or patterned camouflage. It comes in all standard exteriors and has a Souvenir version, but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

M249 | Jungle gives the CS2 heavy machine gun a simple, earthy finish built from separate blocks of solid color. The underlying M249 combines high ammunition capacity with accuracy suited to open areas. Its slower firing pace is part of that weapon's trade-off, separate from the cosmetic finish. Green dominates the central body, with tan and olive-brown extending across several surrounding components. Rather than adding an illustration, the design leaves the weapon's mechanical shapes to provide most of its detail. This makes Jungle a suitable choice for players building a subdued loadout around green, brown, and dark neutral colors. Buyers have a full selection of exterior categories, allowing condition preferences to guide their choice without changing the finish's basic identity. When comparing copies, the useful distinctions are the exact float value, exterior, visible condition, and whether the listing is a standard or Souvenir version.

History and Origin

M249 | Jungle was released on November 18, 2019, in the Operation Shattered Web update. It belongs to The St. Marc Collection. Valve created the design rather than a community artist. The original update establishes its release history, while the Steam Community Market provides a current route to buying an existing copy. Player-to-player trades offer another way to acquire the skin from an owner who is willing to exchange it. Souvenir versions are also available, although the version label alone does not establish the acquisition history of a particular listing. The finish is documented in inventories belonging to ScreaM, Skadoodle, and YEKINDAR, providing examples of professional ownership without establishing when those copies were acquired.

Finish Style

Jungle uses the Solid Color finish style, with separate weapon components painted in an earthy palette. The receiver and much of the central mechanism carry a muted jungle green. Tan to olive-brown colors cover the long barrel and muzzle, extending the palette along the front of the weapon. The ammunition box and stock use those same earthy tones, balancing the green center with brown surrounding sections. Dark gray and black details remain around the upper mechanism and sights. The color placement creates broad, distinct areas rather than a patterned camouflage effect. There is no visible artwork or lettering competing with the weapon's structure. Panel lines, grooves, and mechanical fittings supply most of the surface detail, keeping the overall appearance simple. The result suits a preference for understated equipment styling, with the M249's shape doing more visual work than decorative graphics.

Float Value

The M249 | Jungle float range is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so no standard exterior category is missing. Souvenir versions exist, with version availability remaining separate from an individual copy's cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

M249 | Jungle has the Consumer Grade rarity classification. That grade identifies the skin's rarity tier, not its exterior condition, float value, or Souvenir status. Documented ownership by ScreaM, Skadoodle, and YEKINDAR adds professional inventory context, but does not establish market demand or the availability of a particular variant.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted green and brown suit earthy loadout colors

• Solid color blocks keep the weapon's mechanical details visible

• All standard exteriors offer flexibility when choosing condition

• Souvenir availability adds an alternative version for collectors

Price Range

The live M249 | Jungle price range is $2.81 to $25.94. These bounds cover the whole skin and should not be treated as fixed prices for any named exterior or version. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, match listings by exterior and then check their exact float values. Standard and Souvenir copies should be identified separately rather than assumed to have equivalent pricing. Before choosing a listing to buy, compare its visible condition and version with the other available copies instead of relying only on the overall range.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Buy on the Steam Community Market

M249 | Jungle can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Check the exterior and whether the listing is standard or Souvenir, then inspect the particular copy rather than assuming every listing has the same float value.

3. Trade with Other Players

M249 | Jungle can also be obtained through a trade with another player who owns a copy. Confirm the finish, exterior, exact float, and version before agreeing to the exchange, since the item name alone does not describe its condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Supply should be assessed through the listings currently available for the chosen exterior and version, rather than inferred from the Consumer Grade label. Professional ownership does not establish trading volume, sustained demand, or a reliable resale trend. Players looking to buy, sell, or trade should compare standard and Souvenir copies separately and avoid treating the broad price range as a valuation for every individual item.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Souvenir version available

• Valve-created St. Marc Collection finish

• Full selection of standard exteriors

The medium editorial investment rating should be treated cautiously because sustained demand and reliable resale trends are unproven. Professional ownership and a Souvenir option provide collecting context, not evidence of investment strength or future appreciation. The main risk is unproven resale demand: rarity and ownership alone cannot show how quickly a chosen copy will sell.
