Galil AR | Stone Cold

Galil AR | Stone Cold is a CS2 rifle skin with metallic blue outlines against a dark gray and black body. Its restrained design suits players who prefer defined accents over a fully painted weapon. Pale markings on the stock and magazine add detail without dominating the finish. All exterior categories are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

Galil AR | Stone Cold gives the Terrorist-side rifle a dark finish accented by metallic blue paint. The underlying Galil AR is a lower-cost assault rifle suited to medium- and long-range combat. Its Gunsmith finish emphasizes contrasting surfaces rather than covering the entire weapon in a bright color. Blue edging defines the receiver, magazine and stock while leaving substantial dark areas visible. Small pale markings give the design additional character without interrupting its restrained palette. The look suits blue-and-black loadouts and players who favor outlined mechanical details over large illustrations. Available exterior categories let buyers choose a condition without changing the skin's underlying design. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir options provide further choices when comparing a copy for play, collecting or trading.

History and Origin

The skin entered CS:GO on September 17, 2015, with the "Shadow Case Skins" update. It arrived in the Shadow Case, establishing the case-opening route for the finish. Steam Workshop community designer ClegFX created the skin. It belongs to The Shadow Collection, which also determines its collection route through eligible trade-up contracts. The accompanying flavor text focuses on stepping beyond a mentor's shadow. The Shadow Case stopped dropping after Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, despite the end of new case drops. Today, marketplace purchases, player trades and eligible trade-up results offer alternatives to obtaining the skin through a case opening.

Finish Style

The Gunsmith finish pairs a dark gray and black body with selectively placed metallic blue highlights. Blue accents follow the barrel fittings and receiver edges, emphasizing the rifle's contours. The ribbed handguard stays dark, adding visible texture without introducing another dominant color. Angular blue sections surround the curved magazine's dark center and trace its border. Much of the stock remains dark, while its blue frame carries the outline toward the rear. The pistol grip has a speckled surface that contrasts with the cleaner-looking sections elsewhere. Small pale markings appear on the magazine and stock, including a triangular emblem near the stock's rear. Together, these details create a restrained mechanical appearance built around contrasting edges rather than a large central graphic.

Float Value

Galil AR | Stone Cold has a float value range of 0.00 to 0.90. It is available in Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, with no exterior category missing. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but those version labels are separate from the exterior and float describing cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Galil AR | Stone Cold has the Restricted rarity grade within The Shadow Collection. Its chance of appearing from a Shadow Case opening is 4.0%, or about 1 in 25 drops. Documented professional owners include adreN, bondik and n0thing, providing ownership context without establishing current buyer demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Metallic blue outlines contrast clearly with the dark body

• Restrained styling suits blue-and-black loadouts

• Every exterior category is available

• Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer different ownership options

Price Range

The live Galil AR | Stone Cold price range is $1.64 to $32.50. Exterior and float value help narrow listings to the condition a buyer wants. Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir copies should be compared as separate versions rather than treated as interchangeable purchases. The overall range does not identify the price of any particular exterior, float or version. Before deciding where to buy or sell, compare the specific copy's asking price with matching CS2 skin listings on Eneba Skins.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Shadow Case

Opening the Shadow Case can produce Galil AR | Stone Cold, with a 4.0% chance for this skin. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route produces a random result rather than securing the desired skin directly.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can use 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Shadow Collection to produce 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Galil AR | Stone Cold is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins. Eligible inputs therefore provide a chance at the finish, not a guaranteed acquisition.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Galil AR | Stone Cold can be bought directly through listings on the Steam Community Market. Check the listed exterior, float and version before purchasing, since a direct listing selects a particular copy rather than a random case result.

5. Trade with Other Players

Player-to-player trading offers another way to obtain Galil AR | Stone Cold by exchanging items with another owner. Confirm the offered copy's exterior, float and version before agreeing, especially when comparing regular, StatTrak and Souvenir options.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The end of Shadow Case drops limits fresh case supply, although existing cases can still produce additional Stone Cold copies. Professional ownership provides visibility, but it does not establish current demand or predictable resale speed. Traders should compare matching exteriors and versions rather than assume that retired case supply alone makes a quick flip attractive.

Reasons it Holds Value

• No new Shadow Case drops

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinct metallic blue detailing

• Regular, StatTrak and Souvenir options

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply and documented professional ownership against uncertain future demand. Existing cases can still add copies to circulation, so reduced case supply should not be treated as a promise of price growth.
