About this skin

How is a skin affected by its quality?

Quality describes cosmetic condition through the exterior and float value, not rarity. Signal's 0.00 to 0.50 float range covers Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How does the rarity of a skin work?

Rarity is a skin's grade and relates to its chance of appearing from a case. Signal is Restricted, with a stated 3.2% chance from the Danger Zone Case.

How much does Galil AR | Signal cost?

Galil AR | Signal ranges from $0.48 to $10.47. The bounds cover the whole skin; compare individual listings by exterior, float and version.

Which case contains Galil AR | Signal?

Galil AR | Signal comes from the Danger Zone Case. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened.

Does Galil AR | Signal have StatTrak and Souvenir versions?

Yes, Galil AR | Signal supports both StatTrak and Souvenir versions. Check the version label separately from the exterior and float when comparing copies.

Is Galil AR | Signal a good investment?

Galil AR | Signal receives a medium editorial investment rating. Retired case supply and professional ownership support consideration, but uncertain resale demand remains the main risk.

Short Description

Galil AR | Signal is a CS2 rifle skin with red hexagonal markings over a deep blue finish. Its patterned body contrasts with a brighter blue handguard and muted grip, giving the weapon a geometric look. It suits players building blue-and-red loadouts or looking for detailed artwork without a multicolored palette. All exterior grades are available, alongside StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions.

Description

Galil AR | Signal is a CS2 skin for the Terrorist-side Galil AR assault rifle. The weapon serves as a less expensive rifle option for medium- to long-range combat, while Signal changes its appearance rather than its role. Its Hydrographic finish combines dark blue coloring with red hexagonal artwork across several major weapon parts. The patterned receiver, magazine and stock give the design continuity instead of concentrating the artwork on a single panel. Plainer sections interrupt that pattern, helping the blue handguard and blue-gray grip stand apart from the decorated body. The look suits players who prefer geometric detail and a limited color palette over illustrated characters or elaborate scenes. Buyers have standard, StatTrak and Souvenir versions to consider, with exterior condition providing another separate choice. When selecting a copy, the useful comparison is its individual appearance, float value and version rather than the finish name alone.

History and Origin

Galil AR | Signal was released on December 6, 2018, in the Danger Zone Case Skins update. The Danger Zone Case was its original case container, establishing the opening route associated with the skin. Steam Workshop community designer Meddy created the finish, giving Signal a documented community-made origin. It belongs to The Danger Zone Collection, which also determines the collection relevant to its trade-up route. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Danger Zone Case no longer drops as of October 9, 2026. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, so retirement does not make the skin unavailable through case openings. Trade Up Contracts offer another current route, with a random Restricted result from the collection rather than a guaranteed Signal. Players can also obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market, Eneba Skins or a trade with another player.

Finish Style

Signal uses a Hydrographic finish built around red hexagons layered over a deep blue foundation. The artwork extends across the receiver, barrel assembly, magazine and stock, connecting the rifle's main sections through a shared motif. Some areas contain concentrated groups of red markings, producing denser patches within the otherwise dark surface. Elsewhere, thinner hexagonal outlines leave more of the underlying blue visible and give the pattern room to breathe. The ribbed front handguard uses a brighter, largely solid blue that separates it visually from the surrounding patterned components. A subdued blue-gray pistol grip adds another quieter section beneath the receiver without introducing a contrasting warm color. The muzzle and much of the barrel stay dark, while red accents appear near the front sight and along the upper rail. Together, these placements create a busy geometric body balanced by the mostly plain handguard and grip, rather than an uninterrupted pattern everywhere.

Float Value

The Galil AR | Signal float value ranges from 0.00 to 0.50. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior grades is missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also supported, but those version labels are separate from the float and exterior used to describe cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Galil AR | Signal has the Restricted rarity grade within The Danger Zone Collection. Its stated chance from a Danger Zone Case opening is 3.2%, making a specific Signal result uncertain even when the correct case is opened. Professional players known to own the skin include FalleN, s1mple and apEX, although ownership alone does not establish resale demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Red hexagons give the blue rifle a distinct geometric identity

• Plain handguard and grip balance the patterned body

• All exterior grades offer different condition choices

• StatTrak and Souvenir options broaden the available versions

Price Range

The live Galil AR | Signal price range is $0.48 to $10.47. These bounds cover the whole skin, not a permanently assigned exterior or version. Exterior and exact float are useful comparison points because a wear label does not identify every detail of an individual copy. Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir labels should also be checked separately rather than treating every Signal listing as interchangeable. Before deciding where to buy or sell, compare the CS2 skin price with the listing's version, exterior and float so the item matches the intended purchase.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Danger Zone Case

Open the Danger Zone Case for a chance to receive Galil AR | Signal. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased on the market and opened. Signal's stated opening chance is 3.2%, so this route does not guarantee the skin.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract using 10 Mil-Spec Grade skins from The Danger Zone Collection produces 1 Restricted skin from that collection. Signal is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Restricted skins. This route targets the correct collection and rarity rather than guaranteeing the desired finish.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Steam Community Market provides a direct-buy route for Galil AR | Signal. Check the listing's exterior and version before purchasing, rather than relying only on the skin name. Buying a named copy avoids the random result involved in opening its case or completing a trade-up contract.

5. Trade with Other Players

Galil AR | Signal can also be obtained by trading with another player. Before accepting, confirm the exact item, its float value, exterior and whether it is a standard, StatTrak or Souvenir copy. Those details keep the proposed exchange focused on the intended variant.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The retired Danger Zone Case receives no new drops, but existing case openings and trade-up contracts remain routes for producing Signal copies. Ownership by named professionals offers visibility, not proof of sustained demand, quick sales or a reliable price trend. Traders should compare standard, StatTrak and Souvenir listings by exterior and float, while keeping uncertainty about future resale interest separate from the skin's visual appeal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired case supply receives no new drops

• Documented ownership by named professional players

• Distinctive red-and-blue geometric finish

• Standard, StatTrak and Souvenir collecting options

The editorial investment rating is medium, supported by the retired case supply, documented professional ownership and multiple version choices. Those factors justify consideration without establishing a dependable growth trend. The main risk is uncertain resale demand, especially because existing cases and trade-up contracts can still produce additional copies.
