Galil AR | Hunting Blind

Galil AR | Hunting Blind is a CS2 rifle skin for the Terrorist side, featuring earthy, mesh-stenciled camouflage. Tan, ochre and dark brown cover the weapon, with irregular bands breaking up the smaller mottled details. The look suits players who prefer practical camouflage over bright colors or illustrated artwork. It comes in Factory New through Battle-Scarred, with standard and Souvenir versions but no StatTrak™ option.

Description

Galil AR | Hunting Blind gives the Terrorist-side assault rifle a full-body camouflage treatment in CS2. The Galil AR itself is a less expensive assault rifle option suited to medium- to long-range combat. Its Spray-Paint finish uses mesh-stenciled detail rather than a standalone illustration to shape the design. Earth tones cover major parts, including the receiver, magazine and stock, instead of concentrating decoration on a single panel. Fine spots and broader brown patches make the surface visually busy without relying on vivid colors. Hunting Blind fits muted loadouts and players who prefer a weapon skin with a practical camouflage aesthetic. The absence of visible lettering leaves the layered pattern as its defining feature. Buyers can compare exterior, exact float value and standard or Souvenir status when choosing a copy.

History and Origin

Galil AR | Hunting Blind was released in CS:GO on November 27, 2013. It arrived with The Mirage Collection in the "DreamHack 2013" update. Valve created the finish, rather than a community designer. Its collection identifies the skin's original home, while Souvenir Packages provide another acquisition route. The Souvenir version appears in 15 packages, including the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package and EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. Today, the Steam Community Market and player-to-player trades offer ways to obtain existing copies directly. Opening a compatible Souvenir Package remains an alternative, but it does not offer the same control as choosing a specific market listing.

Finish Style

Hunting Blind uses the Spray-Paint finish style, with mesh fabric serving as a stencil for its freehand application. Muted tan and ochre form the lighter areas, while dark brown adds contrast across the rifle. Clusters of small pale spots sit alongside darker, net-like patches, creating a layered surface texture. Broad, irregular brown bands interrupt that finer detail, especially along the handguard and receiver. The barrel and pistol grip also carry the earthy treatment, keeping the design consistent across the weapon. Its curved magazine and stock repeat the mottled camouflage rather than introducing separate color blocks. A few small dark gray fittings remain distinct from the painted surfaces. No visible lettering or separate artwork interrupts the pattern, so the visual character comes entirely from color, spacing and stencil texture.

Float Value

The float range is 0.00 to 0.60, covering Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. All these exteriors are available, with the exact float providing a more specific condition reference than the exterior label alone. Standard and Souvenir versions exist; version availability is separate from cosmetic condition.

Rarity and Popularity

Galil AR | Hunting Blind has Consumer Grade rarity, which describes its classification rather than its exterior or float. Its chance within The Mirage Collection is 13.35%. Documented professional owners include flusha, FalleN and fer, although their ownership does not establish current market demand.

Why it’s Popular:

• Muted camouflage suits earth-toned loadouts

• Mesh-stenciled texture adds detail without bright colors

• Matching treatment across the receiver, stock and magazine

• Souvenir options appeal to collectors

• Available across every exterior category

Price Range

The live CS2 skin price range for Galil AR | Hunting Blind is $1.24 to $500.00. These bounds cover the whole item, not a fixed exterior or version, so individual listings need their own comparison. Factory New through Battle-Scarred copies offer different condition categories, while exact float values help distinguish listings within an exterior. Compare standard and Souvenir copies separately without assuming either version always occupies a particular end of the range. Before buying or selling, match the exterior, float and version rather than treating the overall range as a valuation for every copy.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open a Souvenir Package

Open a Souvenir Package containing this skin, such as the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package or EMS One 2014 Souvenir Package. Obtaining Hunting Blind through this route produces a Souvenir version rather than a standard copy. An opening does not let the buyer select this skin, its exterior or its exact float in advance.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

Buy Galil AR | Hunting Blind directly on the Steam Community Market by selecting an available listing. Check whether the item is standard or Souvenir and confirm its exterior before purchasing. This route allows a specific listed copy to be chosen instead of relying on a package opening.

4. Trade with Other Players

Trade with another player who owns a standard or Souvenir copy of Hunting Blind. Compare the offered item against the desired exterior and float, and confirm its version before accepting. A trade targets an existing copy, so the result depends on finding a suitable offer.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Existing market listings include standard and Souvenir copies, giving traders different versions to assess without establishing a broader supply trend. Current supply and demand trends remain uncertain, so professional ownership should not be treated as evidence of easy resale. Anyone looking to buy, sell or trade should compare like-for-like exteriors and floats, then consider whether the version suits a playing or collecting goal.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Accessible pricing for players building a Galil loadout

• Souvenir versions provide a collectible alternative

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Valve-created finish from The Mirage Collection

Galil AR | Hunting Blind receives a medium investment rating, supported by its accessible price level, Souvenir options and documented professional ownership. This is a measured editorial opinion, not a prediction of growth or proven resale performance. The main risk is uncertain demand: collection history and a low purchase price do not guarantee that a copy will gain value.
