Galil AR | Shattered

Galil AR | Shattered is a CS2 rifle skin with a fractured geometric pattern across its main surfaces. Off-white, pale gray, and charcoal shapes give it a monochrome mosaic appearance, balanced by darker grip areas. The finish suits players who prefer angular detail without bright colors or character artwork. It comes in every exterior from Factory New to Battle-Scarred, with StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions also available.

Description

Galil AR | Shattered is a CS2 skin for the Terrorist-side assault rifle, using a Hydrographic finish to create its broken geometric design. The underlying weapon serves medium- to long-range combat as a less expensive option among Terrorist-exclusive assault rifles. Irregular polygons cover the receiver, stock, magazine, and barrel, making the pattern visible across much of the rifle. Its off-white and gray palette creates contrast through shape and tone rather than colorful accents. Darker sections on the handguard and pistol grip interrupt the mosaic, giving the busy design some plain surfaces. The look suits monochrome loadouts and players who want detailed weapon artwork without lettering or illustrated characters. Buyers can consider the regular finish alongside its available StatTrak and Souvenir versions, depending on their collecting preferences. When choosing a copy, the listing's exterior, float value, version, and actual appearance are useful details to compare.

History and Origin

Galil AR | Shattered was released on September 19, 2013, with the Operation Bravo Case in the Operation Bravo update. It is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle skin with a Hydrographic finish. Valve created the skin rather than a community designer. It belongs to The Bravo Collection, which identifies its collection origin separately from its weapon type and rarity. The finish's original theme links it to Agency, presenting the patterned rifle as a keepsake associated with that setting. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Operation Bravo Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought and opened, so retirement does not remove the case-opening route for this skin. Today, buyers can also obtain an existing copy through the Steam Community Market or player-to-player trades without opening a case.

Finish Style

Shattered uses a Hydrographic finish built around an angular polygon pattern rather than a smooth, single-color surface. Off-white, pale gray, and charcoal gray fragments form a broken mosaic across the rifle. The receiver carries closely arranged triangles and irregular shards, creating sharp boundaries between the contrasting tones. Larger shapes on the stock give that section a broader, more open arrangement of light and dark areas. The curved magazine has long, narrow fragments running down its length, following a different visual rhythm from the stock. Patterned areas also extend onto the barrel, keeping the geometric treatment visible beyond the central body. The ribbed handguard and pistol grip remain mostly dark gray, providing quieter sections beside the fragmented surfaces. With no visible lettering or character artwork, the finish's identity comes from its sharp edges, irregular shapes, and restrained palette.

Float Value

The float value range for Galil AR | Shattered is 0.06 to 0.80. Available exteriors are Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, so none of the standard exterior categories is missing. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are also available, but these are version choices rather than additional cosmetic condition grades.

Rarity and Popularity

Galil AR | Shattered has Mil-Spec Grade rarity, a classification separate from its float value and exterior. Its stated chance from the Operation Bravo Case is 13.32%, so opening the correct case does not guarantee this finish. Professional players Skadoodle, Ex6TenZ, and oskar have owned the skin, providing documented ownership without establishing how quickly a listing will sell.

Why it’s Popular:

• Angular mosaic gives the rifle a distinctive geometric identity

• Monochrome colors suit restrained loadout themes

• Dark grip areas balance the busy patterned surfaces

• StatTrak and Souvenir options add collecting variety

Price Range

The live Galil AR | Shattered price range is $4.17 to $561.90. This range covers all exteriors and versions of the skin. Buyers can compare Factory New through Battle-Scarred copies where listed, then check the exact float value rather than relying on the exterior label alone. Regular, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions should be compared as distinct options, without assuming they share the same price. For a useful CS2 skin price comparison, each offer should be checked against its displayed condition and version.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Operation Bravo Case

Opening an Operation Bravo Case offers a 13.32% chance of receiving Galil AR | Shattered. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened. This route produces a chance at the finish rather than a guaranteed copy with a chosen exterior.

3. Buy on the Steam Community Market

An existing copy can be bought on the Steam Community Market without opening the Operation Bravo Case. Buyers should check the offer's exterior and whether it is a regular, StatTrak, or Souvenir version. Direct purchasing allows selection of a listed item instead of accepting an uncertain case result.

4. Trade with Other Players

Galil AR | Shattered can also be acquired through a trade with another player who owns a copy. The proposed item's exterior, float value, and version should be checked before the exchange is accepted. Trading transfers an existing skin, so the retired status of its case does not prevent this route.

Trading and Investment Considerations

Retired case drops limit replenishment of the opening route, but existing Operation Bravo Cases can still produce additional copies of the skin. Professional ownership gives the finish visibility, although broad resale demand and sale speed remain uncertain. Buyers and sellers should compare exterior, float value, and version when assessing a trade rather than assuming an established price trend.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired drops constrain fresh Operation Bravo Case supply

• Historical identity within The Bravo Collection

• Documented ownership by professional players

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions offer collecting choices

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply and documented professional ownership against uncertain resale demand. Existing cases can still generate new copies, so case retirement alone does not establish scarcity for every exterior or version. A purchase based on the specific copy's condition is more defensible than assuming a quick, profitable resale.
