Galil AR | Eco

The Galil AR | Eco is a CS2 rifle skin with an off-white body, bright green accents, and detailed receiver decals. Its contrasting palette suits white-and-green loadouts and players who prefer graphic color blocking. The finish is available in Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred. Buyers can choose standard, StatTrak™, or Souvenir versions.

Description

The Galil AR | Eco is a CS2 skin for the Terrorist-side Galil AR rifle, using a Custom Paint Job finish. The weapon provides a lower-cost assault rifle option for medium- to long-range engagements. Off-white body panels contrast with bright green sections, giving the finish a clear, graphic identity. Small markings around the receiver add detail without covering the entire rifle in dense artwork. This palette suits players building white-and-green loadouts or looking for contrasting colors on a rifle. Professional owners include FalleN, tarik, and shox, although ownership alone does not establish current market demand. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir versions offer different collecting options within the same finish. Buyers can compare the listing's version, float value, exterior, and inspection images before choosing a specific copy.

History and Origin

The Eco was released in CS:GO on April 15, 2015, alongside the Chroma 2 Case. Its arrival formed part of the "Chroma 2 Case Skins" update. Steam Workshop community designer LoveCroissant created the finish, combining painted surfaces with decal details. The skin belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, which also matters when considering its trade-up route. Its flavor text presents the Elite Crew as willing to support a cause when the payment is sufficient. Valve retired the rare drop pool on December 17, 2025, and the Chroma 2 Case no longer drops. Existing cases can still be bought on the market and opened, keeping that acquisition route available despite the retired drop status. Today, players can also obtain an existing Eco through direct marketplace purchases or trades rather than opening its original case.

Finish Style

The Eco uses an off-white base across the receiver, ribbed handguard, and stock. Bright green covers the barrel sections, curved magazine, and grip panels, creating distinct blocks of color. Green also picks out the top rail details and the stock's rear edge. The muzzle and smaller mechanical components remain dark gray or black, contrasting with the painted surfaces. Around the receiver, small green barcode-like markings sit alongside dark outlined decals. White "ECO" lettering appears on the green section behind the receiver, making the finish name part of the design. The Custom Paint Job combines painted color blocks with heat-transfer decal detailing. Most fine markings are concentrated around the receiver, while the larger weapon sections carry the simpler off-white and green treatment.

Float Value

The Galil AR | Eco has a float range of 0.10 to 0.85. It comes in Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred, with no Factory New exterior. StatTrak and Souvenir versions are available, but these version labels are separate from the cosmetic condition described by float and exterior.

Rarity and Popularity

The Eco has the Classified rarity grade within The Chroma 2 Collection. Its stated chance from a Chroma 2 Case opening is 1.07%, so opening the case does not guarantee this finish. Direct purchases and player trades offer routes to a specific copy without relying on the case outcome.

Why it’s Popular:

• Off-white and bright green color blocking

• Receiver decals and clear ECO lettering

• StatTrak and Souvenir options for different preferences

• Ownership by FalleN, tarik, and shox

Price Range

The live Galil AR | Eco price range is $10.16 to $208.00, covering the skin as a whole. Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, and Battle-Scarred listings should be compared within their own exterior groups. Float value adds condition detail beyond the exterior label, making inspection images useful when choosing between individual copies. Standard, StatTrak, and Souvenir listings should also be kept separate rather than treated as identical offers. Matching these attributes gives buyers and sellers a clearer CS2 skin price comparison than checking the finish name alone.

How to Obtain

1. Buy Directly through Eneba Skins

One of the fastest and most straightforward options is to purchase skins directly through Eneba Skins. You can browse available CS2 skins, compare prices, and choose the items that best fit your budget.

2. Open the Chroma 2 Case

Opening the Chroma 2 Case can yield the Eco, with a stated chance of 1.07%. The case no longer drops, but existing cases can still be purchased and opened. This remains a random route rather than a way to select a particular exterior or copy.

3. Trade Up Contracts

A Trade Up Contract can exchange 10 Restricted skins from The Chroma 2 Collection for 1 Classified skin from that collection. The Eco is a possible result, but the outcome is random among the collection's Classified skins.

4. Buy on the Steam Community Market

The Eco can be bought directly on the Steam Community Market. Check the exterior and whether the listing is standard, StatTrak, or Souvenir before comparing it with another offer.

5. Trade with Other Players

Players can obtain the Eco by trading with other players. Confirm the exact item, version, float value, and exterior before accepting, especially when exchanging for a specific condition.

Trading and Investment Considerations

The Chroma 2 Case no longer drops, limiting replenishment of case supply while existing cases remain available to open. Those openings can still add Eco skins, so retired case status does not mean the skin supply is fixed. When buying, selling, or trading, compare matching exteriors and versions; professional ownership does not establish current demand or resale speed.

Reasons it Holds Value

• Retired Chroma 2 Case supply

• Documented ownership by professional players

• Distinctive white-and-green rifle design

• StatTrak and Souvenir versions broaden collecting options

The investment rating is medium, balancing retired case supply and documented professional ownership against uncertain market demand. Continued case openings can add copies, and no verified price trend supports a stronger return expectation. Collectors should weigh the finish and available versions alongside the risk of changing resale prices.
